Mitchell's Part "My name is Raymond," the man said suddenly, introducing himself to Mitchell's surprised… "Raymond?" Mitchell muttered, wondering why he would just introduce himself like that to her, she's a total stranger to him, she thought, besides, they even met in the woods which was quite an odd place to meet someone. "What's your name?" Raymond asked peering into her dark brown eyes, which sparkled now that she wasn't furious as she had been a few minutes ago. "My name is Mitchell," Mitchell replied, her heart racing again as her mind drifted away again in the thought of his cuteness. "Mitchell," Raymond repeated, still assessing her in his head. She is her type of girl, he thought. "That's a beautiful name," he added, peering steadily at her, even though his attention was also in the woods, in case they have an intruder since he now knows that they have company. "So tell me Mitchell, why are you running away from your home?" He asked, turning to glance around the woods. "What?" Mitchell asked, her lips slightly parted, she furrowed her gaze on him almost immediately too. "How come you knew I was running away from home, are you a magician or some sort of mind reader?" Mitchell asked wondering how he knew she was running away. "Hahaha," Raymond laughed a little at her question, seeing how surprised she looked, she must be a naive girl, he thought, staring at her innocent young face again. "You told me that, Mitchell," Raymond replied her, now smiling. "When did I say that to you?" Mitchell asked, her brows lifted at him, a little confused. Could he be one of the people searching for her but pretending? She asked inwardly, staring skeptically at him now. "Let me go… I do not want to go back home…," Raymond said, reminding her of what she said after he caught her, sensing her thought from the look on her face. "Oh, that," Mitchell muttered, lowering her gaze a little and pressing her lips together, realising that she gave herself away and that he was not among the men sent by her parents to find her. "Why are you running away from home?" Raymond asked after a while. "Don't tell me that you were running away because you are being forced to marry a man you do not love," Raymond added, trying to sound funny, and gesturing to her appearance. She looked classy in the dress she was wearing and he knew at once that she must be a daughter of a wealthy family in this town. "What?" Mitchell scoffed at his sense of humour, "what makes you think that?" She asked, peerind at Raymond. "Your dreass suggested that," Raymond replied, gesturing and smiling broadly at her. Mitchell lowered her gaze a little to glance at her dress, in agreement to his throught. "Yeah, right," she muttered to herself, but enough for Raymond to hear her. "I am right, am I?" Raymond asked, his brows lifted at her, thinking she was truely running from a marriage. "No…no… there is no such thing, I wasn't going to get married to anyone," Mitchell said immediately, lifting her hand a little in demonstration, guessing Raymond's thought. "Is it?" Raymond asked, peering at her again. "Yes, I wasn't running away because of a marriage," she replied in return, nodding a little too. "If not a marriage, why then are you running away?" Raymond asked, his gaze still on her after she did not continue to tell him her reason for running away. Mitchell pressed her lips together, peering at Raymond. It would not be a bad idea if she gave him a good reason for running away from her home, he may help her to escape from here she thought, even though she knew she cannot tell him the main reason why she had to run away as she think it might frighten him. "Is it that bad?" Raymond asked, sensing her hesitation to speak. "Well, I guess…" Mitchell said, shrugging her shoulders a little bit. "Okay…" Raymond replied, still hoping she would spill the bean. "My parents do not want to grant me the freedom I need to live my life the way I wanted," Mitchell said slowly, and shrugging her shoulders a little bit again, thinking of the best rational reason to tell Raymond. "I have a dream of becoming a musician… you see but, my parents wouldn't let that happen as they wanted something else for me." Mitchell told Raymond. This was also true because she had wanted to be a music star but was afraid to do so because she knew her parents would be against it. She never told them about her dream as she already knew the answer to that but after her discovery, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to run away and now that she thought of it, this would be the right time to be what she had always wanted if she found the opportunity, she thought, peering at Raymond. "A musician?" Raymond muttered after a while and smiled, almost to himself. "Yes, why, is it that bad?" Mitchell asked, wondering why he would smile the way he did. "No, not bad at all," Raymond replied, still smiling broadly. "If you truely want to run away, then I think you should do it now because I sense that there are some people looking for you and they are closing in on us," Raymond said to Mitchell's surprise, stretching his hand so that she could take it. Mitchell lifted her gaze in surprise and then glanced around her, wondering how he knew that there were people looking for her. "Go on, take my hand," Raymond told her again, gesturing for her to take his hand. Mitchell quickly did as she was told, as she does not wish to be caught by her parents men, while Raymond smiled at her, "do not worry, Mitchell, I will try and make your wishes come true," he said and then started running away with her. "How are you going to do that?" Michelle asked curiously, gazing at him as she ran along, her eyes filled with hope and a little excitement. "I have a car on the other side of the road," Raymond told her, "we just need to get to it and then we will be out of here in no time," Raymond replied smiling from the corner of his lips this time. Raymond stopped running abruptly when he sighted some men, and quickly pulled Mitchell onto his chest resting, his back resting against a wood. He lifted his large palm immediately to cover Mitchell's lips to keep her from speaking when she wanted to, his order arm wrapped around her waist to hold her tightly to himself in order to keep her still. Mitchell's eyes widened in shock from what was happening but almost immediately he saw two men different from the ones she had seen earlier. She stayed still immediately and lifted her gaze again to look into Raymond's face as he was a few inches taller than her, wondering how he got to make such a fast move to hide from those men. Raymond too lifted his brows at her, winking an eye as well, knowing her reason for gazing at him the way she was doing but said nothing. He could feel her heart drumming in her chest rapidly and sensed her hesitation to lean properly on his chest, he flashed her a smile to try and make her relax. Mitchell lowered her gaze after Raymond flashed her a smile, which she thought was the cutest smile she had seen so far and pressed her lips that were still covered in Raymond's large palm together, wondering why her heart was racing so fast. She was getting the kind of feeling she has not felt before, wondering if it was because her body was leaning against his chest. After a few minutes, Raymond slowly pulled his large palm away from Mitchell's lips and unwrapped his arm that was around her waist, taking her hand slowly again and started moving away from where they hid behind the wood before as he senses that the men who were probably searching for Mitchell had gone away to look someplace else. "How did you do that?" Mitchell asked, glancing at him curiously to know how he managed to hide from those men so quickly and the speed at which he used to pull her away before they saw her. "Do what?" Raymond asked, glancing at her before turning his gaze around the woods. "How did you see those men and managed to pull me to hide so quickly?" Mitchell replied, her gaze still on him as they moved ahead, not paying attention to where she was going. "Watch out," Raymond almost yelled, pulling Mitchell away quickly again from the wood she almost bumped into in front of her. Mitchell lifted her gaze to him frightfully this time, her heart beating faster than it did before and her head spinning a little. She was terrified by what would have happened to her. She would have injured herself badly if her head had bumped on the wood. "How did you do that?" Mitchell muttered in a husky tone staring from the wood in front of her to Raymond's face. "I have super powers, that's how," Raymond replied. "Come on, we have to keep moving," Raymond added, pulling her hand again to continue moving before she could speak again. Mitchell shook her head at his response, pulling her dress up a little in one hand to help her move freely and faster this time, trying to be focused on the rood and not get lost in thought by looking at Raymond. He was the reason she almost bumped her head against the woods earlier. "That's my car over there," Raymond said, pointing at a white car across the road from where they were standing in the woods. "That's your car?" Mitchell asked, turning to look at his face. She guessed he would be a rich guy, from his posture, body build and his outfit, but she did not know the extent of his riches. If this car in front of her is his car, then he must be very rich, like her parents. "Come on, let's go," Raymond said again, taking her hand after assessing the environment for the men searching for Mitchell and found none in the area. Raymond quickly opened the door for her to get in on the passenger's seat of the car immediately they got to it and then turned around and entered the car on the drivers seat. "Belt up, Mitchell, this is going to be a fast ride," he said, putting on his seat belt and waited for Mitchell to put on the seat belt as well before starting his car. "Are you sure you want to run away with me?" Raymond asked peering at Mitchell whose gaze was on him too, her heart racing in her chest. "Think carefully before you answer, Mitchell, because this would be the last time you would see this place again, going with me means you will never return home to your family ever again," Raymond told her again. Mitchell glanced around the environment even though this wasn't a part of the woods she knew well, she would miss this town and the woods, including school and her friends in school. She would miss her parents too, only they weren't what she thought they were. "I will go with you Raymond," Mitchell told him in return, she never want to come back to her home again knowing her parents wasn't who she think they were and thankful to have met Raymond who was willing to help her. "I want to ask you one question though," Mitchell said almost immediately, her gaze still on Raymond who nodded and gestured for her to speak. "Why are you helping me?" Mitchell asked, peering inquisitively at him as she was unsure why he was helping her. Raymond scoffed as he anticipated the question and almost immediately kept a straight face. "Isn't it obvious, Mitchell? I like you, that's why, and I want to keep you for myself," Raymond replied, now smiling at Mitchell from the corner of his lips seeing how shocked she looked and how her lips parted slightly after his response. He turned his gaze away from her to look ahead and drove off almost immediately, smiling inwardly to himself for having to keep Mitchell for himself and ignoring the look on her face.
