A framed June

“Is this not the pride of Half moon pack?”
“Come on, June will make you feel good,”
June looked at the men in front of her and immediately wanted to run. She could not understand how she got in this situation. Her head spun as she tried to stand. She recognized these men. They were the dark riders.
She recognized them from their tattoos
“What do you think you are doing?...”June started to say then froze and looked behind the men.
“Cardinal…” she said and the men paused.
Fear descended on their faces and they instantly turned around to see who she was looking at.
Everyone knew that the cardinal of Night city had warned the dark riders to not attack people.
If they were caught by the cardinal, they would get in trouble with their pack.
The dark riders were known to be vagrant, but they had money and influence, something June’s mother and father wanted. She could not believe that they had sold her.
But the was no cardinal behind them. June was just gambling that they would turn around and when they did, she dashed away.
She did not bother to look back. She ran so quickly, her heart felt as thought it would burst.
Her temperature rose with each step she took, making her vision blurry. It did not take long for her body to start weakening.
When the men found out that they had been deceived, they snarled and chased after her.
June knew she was slower than they were and it was just a matter of time before she got caught. She need to hide.
She saw a door in the hotel room slightly open and dashed towards it without care.
The moment she passed through the door, her head slammed into a hard chest.
The impact made her slightly dizzy. But the warmth coming from the person made her extremely comfortable.
She leaned into the warm body a bit more before she looked up into cold grey eyes. The person. Before her was handsome, with a tall nose, and a wild long hair.
He looked good enough to eat.
“Please Help me,” she said to him.
She was no sure what was wrong with her, but she knew if she stepped outside the room, she would die.
As the door shut behind her, she looked to the man and touched the man’s chest with her small hands.
“Help me.” She begged again.
Daemon looked at the woman on his chest and grabbed her small hands, feeling a little annoyed.
It was not the first time people had sent women to him hoping to become his mate. But since he had killed a few, the women stopped coming. He could not believe there was someone bold enough to send him a woman.
He stared at the woman as she hugged him as though wanting to melt into his chest. She was beautiful. Her red hair framed her fair face setting off her deep blue eyes.
He was not stupid. It was obvious that she had been drugged.
He immediately tried to let go of Jing Yao and ask someone to take her away.
But the moment he tried to rip her off him, she became wild and tried to pull off his shirt.
He knew this drug. It could stimulate werewolves on heat and he knew it was going to be hard to get her to wake up.
He was not sure, but the heat of her body affected him. He was suddenly very hot and bothered. It was as though he was possessed.
He picked her up and walked back into the bedroom and threw her on the bed. Like a possessed man, he started taking off his clothes.
It was a wild night. Nothing like any of them had ever felt before.
By the time June woke up the next morning, the man was gone. She did not bother to find out who he was and hurriedly dressed to leave.
As she sat in the taxi, she received a call.
The caller ID showed “Mom”.
June sneered at the name and threw the phone aside, but it did not matter. The caller was on a mission. After a few calls, June decided to pick.
“Hello, mother” she said.
“Don’t you dare talk to me in that tone, young lady,” return to the house this instant!” her mother scolded.
“Why? Have you found another man to sell me to?” June asked.
“Shut up! You are not help to the family, you are lucky the Dark riders even want you,” the voice on the other end of the phone hurt June to her bones. What had she ever done to deserve this?
“Why are you doing this to me? Why?” She basically screamed.
Tears came to her eyes quickly. Her mother had always liked her sister more than she had her. She was from a big family. But she was the weakest of them all.
This was the reason her mother to decide she was useless, and the entire family to treat her this way.
“If you don’t like it, get out! Because of your existence in the family, our place in the ranking in our pack has dropped!”
The rankings. Their pack ranked werewolf families and she had been blamed for their low ranking from the day she was born, because she was born a weak wolf.
“Hurry over. Your sister is joining the woods family today. If you are not here, people will talk,” her mother said.
June felt her heart drop. She had a bad feeling in her chest.
“Who is sister marrying?” she asked darkly. She was afraid of the answer.
“Mason Woods,” her mother answered and her whole world dropped from the sky and shattered. She could not believe her ears.
“My fiancé?” June asked in horror.
