Emma’s in the tub and Helen’s trying to give her a bath. But Emma’s splashing so much water on her that it seems as if Helen’s the one taking a bath. Helen doesn’t mind. This happens every time she gives Emma a bath. They give each other baths, mother and daughter. She loves this time alone with her daughter, just the two of them, happy in the world that Helen’s made for them. It all she needs, all she’ll ever need. She doesn’t need a husband; she had one and look what happened. She just needs her daughter.
