CHAPTER SEVENTEEN Charlotte hurried toward the police station after Rosie told her to go for the third time. She worried leaving Rosie with Sid and two forensics officers. Not for the latter, but because Sid kept sneaking around. She’d caught him in the spare bedroom, the kitchen, and poking around in the garden behind the shed. “Unless you have a reason to be searching here, you need to stop.” Charlotte glared at him.
