Chapter 3

My Betas, and my Deltas had reached the Shadow Fang’s boarder when we were stopped by the patrol. “Who is entering Shadow Fang territory? Name yourself.” The guard announced. There were four wolves and one non-shifted pack member on the boarder patrol.

Nigel unshifted, “Shadow Fang, this is Beta Nigel of Royal Pack. Your Alpha King demands entrance and a meeting with your Alpha. Know your place.” Nigel was normally the kind man, but in times, he did show his ugly side. It was

The wolves stirred and I stepped forward. My Alpha size much greater than their simple warrior wolves. I growled towards them. They were not worth unshifting. They bowed their heads and the non-shifted guard struggled to speak, “I apologize King Alpha. I will immediately contact Alpha Vaso.” The man singled to the the wolves and soon they were talking in mind-link. By their reactions, word had not gotten out that we would be visiting. Soon the man spoke again, “I apologize King Alpha. We were not expecting your visit. Please follow us to the pack house. Alpha Vaso and Luna Addie will be waiting for you there.”

I just growled in response and soon the man shifted. We followed the Shadow Fang wolves to the pack house. Nigel had also shifted back and went to my side. He was usually on the right with Irina on his side. While Victor and Robin were on my left. The other warriors and pack members that joined us were behind. Our wolf forms were much larger than the warriors, so we would always take the lead. Normally, packs would keep the Alpha in the middle, but I was not weak. I did not use my pack as shields. I was a shield to them. If I had my mate, that would be a different story. A pack is nothing without their Luna. She was the heart and soul of the pack. I wish I could find her soon.

Soon enough, we were at the pack house and we all unshifted. Nigel gave me some clothes and the others quickly changed as well. We went up the long stairs to the pack house. This house was not as grand as the palace, but it was still pretty nice looking mansion. It was almost spotless. This made me and my wolf feel even angrier. The Omegas and pups were being used to clean the pack house. They were being treated like slaves, as my spies have told me.

I felt Irina put a hand on my shoulder. She was my Beta as well and her calming nature helped me. Not as much as my mate could, but she helped remind me of why we are here. We need to not let Shadow Fang know that we know what is going on. I sighed and then went into the pack house.

As soon as I entered, my noise was hit with the most enchanting smell ever. It was like a cool winter night. I looked around the room. There were many ranking Shadow Fang members, along with the Alpha, Luna, and their children. I looked around and found where the smell was coming from. A very small black haired she-wolf was in the back. She looked weak and about to fall on her feet. “She must be one of the tortured Omegas,” I thought to myself. The she-wolf looked up and I was met with striking ice blue eyes.

My heart ached and my wolf screamed out, “Mate.” This made everyone in the room look in my direction. I just realized that I said it out-loud.

Nigel mind-linked me, “Alpha, is this true? Your mate is here?”

I responded with anger in my tone, “Yes, she is the small she-wolf in the back of the room. I need to get to her.”

Nigel tried to move in front of me, but soon Alpha Vaso decided to speak, “King Alpha, it is a surprise that you are here. One of my pack members must be your mate. I’m sure it must be one of my daughters.” He spoke.

I growled in response and turned toward Vaso, “I don’t think that’s true. Who is the girl in back of the room?”

My eyes dropped from the auburn one’s and my wolf was trying to speak out. I had to control her. I shouldn’t have looked up. Soon the powerful King Alpha, my mate, was furiously asking about me.

Uncle Vaso tried to pass it off, “I apologize for her in your presence. You don’t need to worry about her. She is just an Omega that doesn’t have a reason to be here.” Uncle Vaso angrily came over to me, “Get out of here now. Your presence is not needed anymore.”

I tried to move, but the events of yesterday and today were adding up. I could no longer keep my strength. I could feel myself falling and before my body could hit the ground, sturdy hands were holding me up. I could feel sparks as our skin touched each other. I looked up weakly and realized it who it was, “King Alpha… I apologize.. I..I..”

He stopped me and looked me in the eyes, “It’s alright, my mate. Where are you injured?”

The way he said mate, sent a shiver down my spine. I can not lie, so I responded to him, “My ribs… and arm. It was sliced with silver.”

I could feel him growl and it frightened me. He realized this and soon stopped. He spoke to the others, “Robin and Irina come to us now.” My mate looked at me this time and calmly spoke, “Robin is my one of my Delta’s along with the Head Caretaker. She’s going to help you. Irina is one my Delta’s and she’s going to help as well. Stay strong.”

I tried to speak, but the pain and my strength was fading fast. I could see black dots around my eyes. I touched him and just looked into his eyes. I trusted him and I wanted him to know it. I could feel my power of the surface it was so much stronger than before. He gasped and then nodded to me. It was then that my body finally collapses and I fell into darkness.

My mate looked back at me and I could feel the power in her stare. Then her eyes went a silver white and her memories filled my soul. I knew who and what she was immediately. I gasped and nodded toward her. I would protect her not matter what.

I could feel my mate getting weaker and soon enough she passed out. Robin and Irina came over to us. I commanded them, “Be careful with your Luna. She is very weak and is slowly being poisoned by silver. Along with damage to her ribs.” The nodded carefully after noticing my anger. I could not contain myself any longer. I handed my mate to the she-wolves and they promised she would be safe.

I stood up and immediately charged at Vaso, “How dare you hurt my mate.”

Vaso was shocked, “I didn’t know she was your mate, King Alpha. She is just an orphan Omega. I’m sure you can find a better match.”

My anger became even more evident and I threw him to the ground, “How dare you say that to your Queen Luna. How dare you say she is an orphan when you were supposed to take care of her.”

All of the color from Vaso’s face disappeared, “How…how.. do you know?”

I growled, “Know your place!”

“King Alpha. I apologize, how do you know? King Alpha?” Vaso quickly added.

“She is my mate. I know everything about her just as much as she does about me. I know she is the late Alpha Emilio and Luna Coretta’s only daughter. She is not an Omega, she is a born Luna. She is also your niece.” I screamed at him. The Shadow Fang pack members gasped and were surprised. I guess Vaso didn’t tell them about her. “You tortured your niece!”

My wolf took over and I started punching the living crap out of this so-called Alpha. Soon his Luna came over to me, “Please forgive him King Alpha. He did not mean it.”

I stopped myself and looked at his mate, “You are even worse than him. I know you are the one controlling the Omegas and pups that have been orphaned. You treat them like they are less than nothing. Both you and your mate will be severely punished. Along with your daughters.” The she-wolf looked at me with shock. She was not expecting me to know about their dirty games.

I handed the beat-up Vaso to my warriors and spoke to the rest of the members in the room, “As of now Vaso, Addie, Missie, and Nicola Andreas have been stripped of their titles and are sentenced to the dungeons of the palace. There they will wait judgement.” My warriors moved toward the three she-wolves and put limiters on their arms and legs. It would limit their strength and their ability to shift. “As for Shadow Fang pack, any members who would like to leave are welcome to join Royal Pack or find homes in other packs. If not, you will be labeled as rogues. Am I clear?”

Many responses came, “Yes, King Alpha.”

"As for the young orphan pups and Omegas, they will be put under the Royal Packs care and will come to the palace immediately to be care for. If you don’t let me know where they are, I will rip your heads off.” I shouted at the remaining Shadow Fang members.

Robin spoke from where she was tending my mate, “King Alpha, quickly, Queen Luna is trying to wake up.”

I ran over to them and I could see my mate try to open her eyes. I took her hand gently. “Mate, my dear sweet mate, please open up your eyes. Everything is safe.”

Slowly, her crystal blue eyes opened.
