The Witching Hour

{Wanda's POV} "William are you sure we can keep her safe by doing this?" I said scared for my daughters life. "All we can do is hope, my love" He looked at me with such uncertainty. I need to believe that he will never find her. She was going to be the next High Witch and she had no idea. William and I have been trying to concieve for so many years I had honestly lost count. She was our miracle baby since I was told by every specialist in the country and many others as well that I would never concieve at all. "She's the most precious thing" He said seeing the stars in his eyes as he held our baby girl tight. She was so beautiful with the most dazzling greenish teal colored eyes. I've never seen that in our kind before. "She's also the rarest witch, our little Wendy will be in line to become High Witch when she is of age, darling, we have to prepare for the fact that we won't be able to raise her just to keep her safe." I cried as I spoke the truth knowing it pained us both. "We can at least keep a very close eye on her, Wanda" William looked at me concerningly and longing for my approval. I nodded my head as I packed my child's belongings to send her away before I had even gotten to know her. Her power would be the greatest of us all and I will do whatever it takes to keep him from getting to her. {William's POV} As we knew the unpromising future of us raising our own child, Wanda looked at me asking to be reassured we were doing the right thing. "All we can do is hope, my love" I looked at her putting on my best game face. I knew it wasn't worth much because I knew she could see right through to my soul. All I know is we can't have Vaughn finding her. He was the Vampire that wanted to rule the world. The only way he could is with a high witches power and we hadn't had one in a very long time. But it was finally over when we concieved Wendy. She was destined for greatness coming from two powerful Lux witch lines. Lux witches were very rare as they had the power to control all of the different lines. Different lines included potion witches, animal witches, nature witches, element witches, etc. There were soo many different lines and we could master all of them. Witches normally stuck within their realm and Lux witches were barely ever born in the same time period and so it is a miracle that I met my Wanda and we fell in love. I got lost in my baby girl's eyes knowing soon I wouldn't see her again until she became of age just to protect her. It was the most ultimate sacrifice we knew we would have to make. We knew we had to send her to live with distant relatives of our very best friends, so they couldn't trace her whereabouts. They were human and therefore wouldn't be suspected. The Abbotts were a decent family and were looking to adopt, so we thought it was a perfect chance to hide our daughter in plain sight. Wanda kissed Wendy and I saw as a tear fell down her cheek. She brushed it away quickly thinking I didn't see. "It's time" She said and I knew she was right.
