The flight back to New York was quick. Judy still hasn’t spoken to me since the meeting with the investors. Sure, she’s been giving me short replies here and there, but it didn’t quite seem like her.
After we got off the plane, she simply scurried off home without informing me. Anyway, that shouldn’t bother me, right? I know I behaved wrongly in Toronto, but she must’ve forgiven me, right?
Anyway, that shouldn’t be what I’m focused on right now. Not now that I’m having dinner with my family. I know what this dinner is about... possibly a new woman I would be marrying. The woman grandmother has chosen for me. As the new alpha of the pack, I know I have to settle down with a wife... someone who would be a good luna to the pack.
