Chapter 3. My world crumbles part 2

I'm two days away from birthday and Maria has been gone all weekend so I've been alone with just dad. She leaves every month for the weekend to go visit her family. Only this time she came home with a cool new tattoo on her neck and shoulder. She also smells different but said she was gifted a new perfume. I complimented it. But afterwards she runs to dad's office and I'm left alone.

today I was in the backyard and felt someone humming to me and I fell instantly asleep. something weird is going on in the woods and I'm curious. I tried to ask dad to go to the woods but he forbade me.

It's been a few hours since I talked to Maria so I go downstairs to the kitchen to look for some food if she wasn't going to cook. As I came down Maria was coming up to get me for dinner and told me Mike was also here.

I go to the table and say hello and sit down. Mike smiles at me with a very big smile and dad looks upset. I wonder what is going on.

I ask dad "is everything okay?" he says "of course baby girl. Nothing for you to worry about. What do you want for your birthday? it's two days away."

Selene tells him "All I want is to go camping in the woods dad."

he instantly yells "I told you to never go in the woods and that is final. Am I understood?"

Mike butts in and tells me he'll take me to the woods for my birthday that I will be an adult and I will be able to make my own choices."

Dad stands up "Mike leave my house and never return. I do not want you here and you know the fuc**** rules. She's not allowed in the woods."

Mike stands up and smirks. As he was turning to leave he pulls a gun out of the back of his pants and fires it. I hear four loud bangs and I drop to the floor. I look over and see my dad and Maria on the floor. Dad motions for me to come to him. He whispers "Go into the woods and run and run as fast as you can. Mike can't get ahold of you. I'm sorry I gave lied your whole life, but I promised them. I promised your parents I'd keep you safe and I have failed. But go now, run as fast as you can and find rivermoon pack and they will help you.

I stand up and Mike is in front of me in a second. I push him hard as I can and he doesn't move. I remember reading that if you kick a boy in between his legs they cry, so I did that. He bent over and yelled and tried to grab me. But I ran out of the door and ran as fast as I could to the woods. I felt like someone was chasing me but I knew it was Mike. For whatever reason he wanted me. He was at least in his 30's and I'm only going to be 18 in two days. I don't understand why he's so obsessed with having me. I'm just a little girl. As I'm running I start to cry. My legs are burning and I just seen my dad or at least who I thought was my dad die right before me. I didn't even check on Maria to see if she was okay. I feel like I've been running forever. As I turn around to look if Mike is chasing I see a wold running after me. I scream at the top of my lungs for help.

I trip over a tree root and fall. All I can think about is this wolf killing me and I never even got to experience life. This is it I'm going to die. But as I feel my eyes close from hitting my head I see more wolves and hear a loud roar come from no where. My eyes close and I hear someone say she's alive but we lost the rogue. He picks me up and I feel nothing but warm skin. I don't understand I didn't see a man.

Marcus pov

I hear someone screaming as my beta and I are running through the woods. All humans know to stay out of my woods and so do rogues so I can only assume someone wants to die today. I mindlink my warriors of where we are and Alex and I head back to the packhouse and wait for them to bring the offending person to us.

We wait for what seems like 30 minutes and I'm mindlinked by Joe my headwarrior that they have an unconscious female and the rogue disappeared.

The warriors all appear in front of us and I order her to be taken to the clinic because as soon as she got close all I smelled was roses and lemon. and Jax was going insane in my head yelling "MATE". I have looked for my mate for 5 years and had given up finding my luna and was preparing to take my girlfriend Maybelle as my luna. Damn I think to myself. How am I going to explain this. But as I turn to Alex I see him having a hard time standing still and I'm not sure what is going on. Before I can ask him what is going on. He mindlinks me and says "that's my mate". I roar as loud as I can that everyone runs away from me except Alex. He looks at me and I snarl at him and he runs towards the clinic. This is going to be a serious problem and I don't know who to ask about this so I walk to my office and mindlink Rick he's our elder at the packhouse. He replies he's on his way.

Rick knocked and came in and sat down. I go to explain and he says "Beta Alex should be here for this conversation." I growl in response. He mindlinks Alex to my office and he reluctantly came. I turn to growl and Rick stops me. He says "what is going on with you two? And why is a human rogue in our clinic?"

I start to explain "That human rogue is my mate. I smelled her before I left the woods and assumed when she seen wolves she'd run away. But Joe brought he back unconscious. So I sent her to the clinic. But we have a problem because Alex here seems to think she is his mate. Which is impossible because he is my beta. Maybe he's smelling her as his luna."

Alex turns to me and says "she's my mate" and snarled at me which caused me to growl and his bare his neck reluctantly. Alex continues saying he smelled the most amazing smell of roses and lemon. This is impossible I think. Rick says "well this is uncommon. I've never heard of this. I will need to do some research and get back to you in an hour. Can you two try to not hurt each other before then please?" We both nod and he leaves. Alex stands and says "I'm sorry. I don't understand what is happening but Surge is telling me your safe with mate and we will understand when she wakes." Alex leaves and goes back to the clinic. I sigh in frustration.

Alex pov

I don't understand how this is possible he thinks. Surge tells him "relax all will be explained when mate wakes up. She doesn't have a wolf yet." "I say what? She is human and won't have a wolf." Surge says "she has a wolf but she hasn't shifted yet which means she's not of age. No wonder your okay with her being around aphla." He responds "No because she is Ajax mate also. I know he will protect her so I'm okay with it." I say to him "what do you mean his mate also? This is not normal we don't share mates Surge. She's mine and I will prove it when she wakes and comes to me." Surge is upset with what I'm saying and telling me I'm being unfair. He closes the link and won't budge.

I can't believe the alpha and I have the same mate. I'm worried he will challenge me for her and I'm not ready to die or to kill him. I hope Rick figures something out. I look through the door at my precious mate and smile. She's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Sh has gorgeous brown hair, creamy smooth skin, plump juicy lips, and can't be more than 5'4". She's so small and precious. I can't wait to hold her in my arms and kiss those juicy lips. I feel myself harden at the thought. I feel someone next to me and look at Marcus. He's looking at her too and I feel okay with him looking but as he goes to open the door I push him aside and snarl. He squeezes his eyes shut and pushes me back. Marcus says "Alex move out of my way now! I don't understand either but us fighting before she even wakes does no good."

Selene pov

I smell antiseptic and the most delicious smell I've ever smelled. It smells earthy like dirt, trees, wildflowers, and chocolate. But all I see is darkness and I wonder if this is the afterlife. My body feels heavy and I can't move or open my eyes. But I hear someone calling to me, telling me to open my eyes. Her voice is so beautiful and calming. I will my eyes open and I'm in a beautiful forest with flowers and birds. I try to look where the voice is coming from. As I turn this bright light flashed before me and there stood a woman. She has green hair and bright pink eyes. I'm dreaming I have to be dreaming but she says "My darling girl I've come to meet you and talk." I say "who are you and where am I?" she tells me she's the moon goddess name Selene also and I stare at her like she's lost her mind. She tells me "You are my direct desendant my child. I have made you to be werewolf version of me. Your wolf a

will come to you in one days time. Her name is Miracle. She will be strong as you are born from alpha blood. You will also meet your mates when we are done here today. They do not understand why they both are your mates but as you are a strong willed woman you need two to help protect you and guide you. Now do you have any questions for me?"

I look at her completely shocked and paralyzed from what I just heard. She tells me to breathe. Once I come to terms with what she has said. I ask "1 how am I a werewolf I didn't even know they were real? 2 in one day I will be 18. 3 alpha born? I don't even know who my parents are. 4 mates? how do I have more than one and my protector who I thought was my dad who died said if anyone mates me they will die."

She smiles sweetly at me and says "yes my dear precious you are very special and have had to be hidden from unseen enemies that killed your parents the day you were born. I will allow you to meet them in a minute. And yes you have two mates. You will have an alpha and beta of the same pack that is strong and powerful to help guide and protect you. They both have strengths that the other doesn't have. You are a very special wolf my dear."

I just stare at her trying to understand what is going on. I tell her I'm ready to meet my parents. Out comes another bright light and I see two people who look like me. My dad is over 6ft tall and he has my blue eyes and I instantly ran and hugged him. My mom was short like me and pale skinned like me with brown long hair and green eyes. I hugged them both and felt instantly at home. They had this special glow around them that I didn't understand and the moon goddess said "they were special like you but they were betrayed by the vampire king and Mike. They were the king and queen of werewolves." I look at her and ask "I'm a princess?" She nodded and I smiled. I didn't even have to talk to my parents they showed me a video it seemed in my mind of their lives together and everything they did, me in the womb, and what happened the day they died, they gave me to Mark and Maria to protect me because they were the beta mates. I smiled at hugged them again and was so happy. Then the moon goddess said they had to go because I needed to get to my mates. I said goodbye and teared up. She did I would see them again. The she said "It's time for you to go my little one. You have to get to your mates and explain to them. You will see your parents again. And I will be watching over you."

I wait a few minutes before I open my eyes to hear the guys in the room with me. They don't say anything but I can sense them and smell them. One of them I holding my hand and I feel tingles all the way up my arm and into my chest. He rubs his thumb back and forth and I can feel the tension in the room even with my eyes closed. I open them and blink a few times and stare at my hand and then look around the room. I'm inside a hospital room. What happened? All I remember is running from a wolf and falling and a roar. I wait a minute before I say anything and just look around and see the men next to me. One is holding my hand and the other is standing next to the bed with his arms crossed with a mean expression on his face.
