Echoes of my youth

I guess I wasn't special after all, I was always second choice despite me being the first child. where do I start?. Let me start from the beginning, I was born into a family of seven, and as the first child, I had that huge responsibility on my shoulders. You know, having to be the first in everything in life, society and family. it was huge and it played a significant role in my life. I had one problem, I was scared. Not scared to die, it was something odd. I was scared of something, like as if someone invisible was watching me, not a nice looking spirit. No. it had Horns, blazing eyes like as if it came from the deepest pit of hell. Am not possessed. Like I said. I am scared. But one day I came across this demon, it wasn't like the one's we saw on television with horns, tails and a wing, no it was a child, the same age as I was back then. It had my features. it was me. I was my own demon. 5th June 1999, my father had returned home early and requested for my mom to cook the best meal for him, but she always does that, so what's special in today's meal. she did as he requested. we ate and called it a night. but it wasn't a going to be a good night, because at about 3:00 midnight, I had a strange dream, I was walking on a cemetery, it was cold, I could feel it even while in the spirit realm. Then someone called my name, it was the same child I described earlier "Could you come and play with me?" it asked with it's scary eyes and bloody teeth, I think it ate something like a heart. Get away from me I screamed "Why? Don't you like me. Come play with me" it replied me instantly I stepped back, screaming. Then I woke up and saw the same child right in front of me, It wasn't no longer a dream. it was real. I immediately reached out to my parents who were sleeping on their bed. "Daddy wake up" "mummy wake up". I said continuously. The child didn't attack me, it just stood there watching me battle for my life, "You will never amount to anything ". Those were the words it said to me and immediately I passed out.
