Chapter 9

Ana’s POV

That was the most painful experience ive ever endured and i thanked the moon goddess with a big howl that it was hard and fast.

My mom bowed her head to me letting me know she was proud. I could see it in her eyes, and for some reasons could here her thoughts, as well as Lucians.

I pranced a circle around him, acting dominant. The cheeky prick stood with his head held high and a grin on his face. I saw him remove his shirt and walk around, he was much older than me and im guessing hes shifted a few times. In a few moments this black beast jumped out from behind the tree and taking his stance to stare at me.

He was majestic. His black fur blowing against the light breeze. Those orange yellow eyes i use to see now and again. He walked towards me and bowed his head, i nuzzled into his neck with my snout. He pointed his head into the forest and ran, i followed him through. My senses were wel aware. I could see a small drop of water fall off a leaf, or hear a cricket jump. I think i was slightly faster than Lucian i was chuckling in my head.

We ran for hours before we came to a stream. I was admiring the stars and the moon and turned my head to lucian who was walking towards me staring into my eyes.

I heard his wolf somehow

This beautiful creature, is mine

I stared at him the whole time and then tilted my head. I tried to respond back to him

Hello???

He snapped his neck back to me

Can you hear me?

I nodded and he nuzzled my neck and licked my face.

How my wolf knew all this i had no idea. I just find out when she mentioned it to blake, am i really lycan? I am actually the child my father thought my mother couldn't give him? Blake submitted straight away and i could see he was struggling with Lucian. But the wolf cannot resist when in presence of a higher power, you submit. It was law. I sneered at Isis to stop hurting our mate and she agreed.

She stated matter of factly. Me and lucian had alot to talk about.

Lets head back its almost morning.

He licked my face and we ran back into the direction we came from. We reached the back of the house and he changed form in a few minutes walking out with his shorts on. He calls out

“Just imagine being back in human form” and i closed my eyes and did just that next thing i knew i was standing there naked. I squealed and he threw his shirt over the bush. I walked out to him only in his shirt and he was smirking.

“I need to see my mom” he was frowning at this

“You need to rest, no arguments, that was intense, even for me” he was pleading but he was right, i was tired as hell. I nodded and followed his head.

We both went to shower and it was a beautiful silence. He took his shirt off me and run the water over my tired body. He was washing me. Only washing me, not letting his hands linger too long in any areas. He was taking care of me. I went closer to him breathing amongst his chest. All of a sudden the tiredness was gone, and i was feeling heated.

“Ive shifted now lucian” i went red again, but peeps at him to see if he took the hint and his smile tells me that he did. We had kissed eachothers parts before but it wasnt complete s*x.

“My dear, this is all up to you, i can wait and give you more time if need be.” he said with so much love in his voice.

I stepped towards him and wrapped his arms around my naked body. I stared into his eyes that were flashing yellow. I knew he was fighting with his beast.

“Take me to bed lucian” i whispered in my most seductive voice. Also, bare in mind this is all new for me and i actually have no idea of what the hell i was doing.

He lifted my naked body from the shower and i kicked the nozzle with my foot making it turn off. My lips crushed his as we walked out of he bathroom. He laid me gently on the bed and stared into my eyes

“Are you sure about this?” he looked really worried. But why though?

“As sure as i have been about anything” i whispered with my eyes closed.

Lucians POV

I was watching Ana sleep in my arms. Zion was content and satisfied. All we needed to do was mark one another and complete the ceremony. But at this moment. I just want to watch and enjoy her. I have a few people to thank for this.

My brother lucas - if he had not rejected her, i would have not have found her.

My father - for asking me to come home on such short notice

And the most important, the moon goddess - this is all her magic and i am nothing but grateful.

She looked so peaceful in my arms. I kissed her head and she smiled in her sleep. She is mine. And i am hers. Forever. With that i also drifted off to sleep.

I opened my eyes and saw the sun shining through the curtains of Anas room. She was still asleep like a baby in my arms. I didnt want to wake her but i knew i had a few calls to make. I slowly slipped my arm away from her and she furrowed her eyebrows. I kissed her head and walked towards my things that were packed for this stay.

I took out a white shirt and grey sweats. Since were home might as well be comfy. I picked up my phone and saw i had alot of missed calls from my brother, and even more texts. I just rolled my eyes. I will see him again, silly fool. I went into the bathroom to do my morning business and when i walked out Ana was sitting up right in the bed with a small smile on her face.

“Good morning lucian” she said in a cute tone and smiled.

“Good morning my love” i nodded and walked towards her laying her down and kissing her lips. She forcefully kissed me and i took it as a hint. She wanted it again. And i tell you right now, there was no way i was stopping her from getting what she wanted. And we were at it again. Was this my new life?? I hope so….

After a few rounds of love making, we finally washed up properly and went to find something for breakfast. Selene was in the garden gathering veges. She walked in with a broad smile on her face

“Yous look like yous slept well, i am glad” she put her veges on the bench

“What can i get yous for breakfast? Ana? You want your favourite?”selene asked us.

Ana went red. She was embarrassed

“Whats her favourite? Let me see” i said excitedly and Selenes eyes shot up in happiness

“She loves bacon eggs hash browns fresh tomatoes and a stack of pancakes” selene stated, and my eyes widened

“Your kidding right?” Ana looked like she wanted to cry my stupid mouth does not stop.

“No no my love, i didnt mean it like that, every food she stated, is also my favourite, you can ask my mom some day” i smiled and winked at her. She still hasnt said a word since coming down here whats going on??

“Are you ok my love?” i whispered to her

“I f–feel shh—shaky” her eyes were locked with mine, like she was keeping calm staring into them. Her mothers head snapped to us.

“Lucian, did yous mate?” selene asked and i was red as a tomato.

“Uhh yeah? Last night…and this morning” why the hell was i even telling her this. Why was she even asking??

Selenes eyes softened at Ana, then she snapped back to situation at hand.

“Take her into the forest, she is gaining other powers, and this could take a huge toll on her, i will bring food n things for yous till the transition of power has been done” selene was gathering things from her cupboards. Like she was always prepared for this moment.

“Thank the moon goddess! She will always hear our cries!” selene was chanting. For a human, she put her full faith and trust into our moon goddess, it was ashame she wasnt a wolf, moon goddess would be proud of her work she does for our kind. Maybe Ana is her reward.

“Mom whats happening to me?” Ana asked worridly.

“Relax my dear, its all part of the process, i think its time to contact your father” selene stared at her with a faint smile.

“He will know how to handle all these better than me my dear” selene was sad and looked away.

“Selene, you are very much so more than capable. I am here, what do we do” i said to her in firm voice to let her know i was serious.

She nodded and spoke.

“My mother always told me she would communicate with the moon goddess, and that she was told she would be gifted the giver of light…the predominal” selene carried on talking

“She would be born and become the strongest of all. She will bring peace and love to all supernatural beings among us” she held her head high and proud to day this as this was her daughter.

“Take her into the forest, keep her warm n calm, use this moment to caress the bond. Shift if need be. But most all, she must endure” she held Anas hand and kissed the back of it.

“Go now both of you” she hurried us out the door with a bag of food water and other essentials. I rushed Ana out the back door while covering her with my arm. She was shivering.

“Lu–lucian, thank you…..for e–everything” she tried to smile. My poor love.

“Hey, look at me” i tilted her head to face me

“Im here, always never forget that” i kissed her forehead and headed into the forest.

I found a small clearing that looked nice and calming. I laid out the blanket and sat her beside me and cuddled her. She was shivering like crazy and it was no where near cold here.

“Im sleepy lucian” she was panting and leaned her head into my shoulder.

“Sleep if you want too” with that, she was out. Like she passed out. And i freaked out. I started shaking her vigorously.

“Ana, Ana!!” i was almost shouting. I calmed my senses, checked her vitals which were all fine, she was just sleeping. Like a sleeping beauty. So i sat there and i just held her caressing her hair, kissing her hands. Hoping it was doing something good for her.

She was sound asleep, then i noticed something strange. The tips if her hair were changing colour, like a whitish colour. Then it changed back to normal. What is she? I thought to myself. She still slept peacefully. She slept for almost an hour. I was almost asleep until i felt her start to wiggle on top of me.

“Lucian?” she asked tiredly.

“Im here my love, are you feeling okay?” i asked her sitting her in a up right position.

“I had the weirdest dream. But i feel absolutely fine now” she smiled at me then kissed my lips. That melted me.

“Lets go back, im feeling hungry” she giggled which made me smile.

“Okay, your moms probably contacted your dad by now, and i still need to speak with my parents, theyre probably wondering where i am” i chuckled and rubbed the back of my head. It wasnt like me not to keep in touch with my parents. But i suppose i forgot. I looked at her and her eyes widened.

“Youve been worrying for me and ive been selfish not even worrying for you” she covered her mouth and i laughed.

“Dont even worry my love, im fine…after we eat we can go back to my place, to see my parents” i said to her assuring her that everything is okay.

“Okay” she said in a cute tone and kissed me. I could do this all day, getting kisses from her. It was…soothing.

We reached the back of the house and we could already smell the aromas of selenes cooking. We walked into the kitchen and she had pancakes, with all toppings, eggs, bacon and some toast. I was literally dribbling.

“You are the best mom” Ana called out as she came in

“My dear, how are you? What happened?” her voice filled with concern.

“Im fine mom, i kind of passed out, had a weird dream and woke again” she explained to her mom.

“What was the dream about?” selene asked curiously.

I woke up in a meadow filled with small pretty flowers. I wondered what iwas doing there and how i got here. Where was lucian??

“Hello???” i called out but nothing.

I suddenly saw a lady in a white dress, walking towards me. She had long white hair that ran down her back, her dress flowed all the way down to the floor covering her feet. Her pale white skin and her bright blue eyes were captivating.

“Anastasia, im glad to have finally meet you” she held out her hand for me to take and she pulled me up from the ground.

“Who are you? Sorry” i said shyly and tilted my head to the side and she smiled widely.

“I am the creator” she said softly and gestured for me to follow her.

Creator?? She must be the moon goddess??

“Moon goddess?” she turned her head and nodded and continued to walk.

“Your grandmother done a deed that will have our kind forever in her debt, she healed 2 of my most loyal wolves, she never knew they were human until they were well enough to shift back to their form” she smiled at me.

“I will forever be in her favour” she drifted off in a day dream for a moment. Just for a moment.

“Ana, your time is coming, with great power comes great responsibility, and also people that will want to take that power for themselves, learn your power, and you will be prepared for anything” she grabbed my hands holding them, her hands were so soft.

“But what powers will i have? I still know nothing of them” i asked curious to know.

“There are many, which will all surface soon enough, i am sure youve heard of telepathy? Thats one you will find quite…amusing” she smirked a cheeky smirk at me.

“Lucian, he is a great man, and will help you in your journey, i think a matched you well this time around” she smirked again

Moon goddess was really cheeky. I loved it.

“Thank you” i bowed my head in respect

“Time to wake up Ana” she said and snapped her fingers, and i was waking up

ANA’S POV

“Thats pretty intense Ana” my mom held my hands with concern

“It was, but im fine mom seriously” i said and took a huge bite of my stack of pancakes.

“So did you call dad??” i asked my mom

“Yeah, about that….hes demanding we go back right away” my head snapped to my mom.

“I am not going back there mom, no way” i was serious, screw him

“Dont worry, i told him we werent, and that he was to come here, so he is doing that” my mom was quite adamant and it suited her. Being her own boss.

“Moon goddess sounds awesome” lucian spoke and i almost forgot he was there.

“She was definitely on your side” i said making us all laugh.

“Ana, lets head back to mine and grab a few things okay?” lucian said not breaking eye contact. His were flicking from orange to hazel. I nodded and smirked at him making him breath heavy. I loved that i had this effect on him.

He grabbed my hand and we walked out to the car, he closed his door and looked at me then crushed his lips against mine. Breaking our kiss so we could breath, he spoke

“I will never get enough of you Ana” he had his fore head on mine and we were both panting for air. He started up the car and we took off onto the main road heading for his packhouse. I know it was to finally see his parents after being away a whole 2 days basically.

We pulled into his driveway and he took a deep breath.

“Do i have to come in?” i asked shyly and he smiled softly

“Id really love it if you did my love” he was holding my hand and rubbing circles on my knuckles. It felt calming. I smiled and nodded. We entered his home and he called out to his parents

“Mom? Dad? Are yous home?” he called out as he put our jackets on the jacket rack. His mom came out from what looks like the kitchen, well she was wearing an apron and i could smell something good. His mom was beautiful. Long straight black hair, green eyes and porcelain skin. She was model material, no wonder where the good looks came from.

“Lucian my son, where have you been? Ive missed —” she stopped in her tracks and turned towards me

“Why who do we have here lucian? Hello dear, i am Lucinda, Lucians mom” she put out her hand for me to shake and i bowed my head in respect and shook her hand.

“Hi im Anastasia” i said shyly. I felt lucian put his arm round my waist and I immediately felt calm.

“This is my destined mate mom, Anastasia Crest” his moms eyes widened, and then they were almost tearing.

She let out a soft sigh “Madam crests grand daughter, well welcome my dear” she pulled me in for hug and patted my back.

“I will get your father now, hes out back…somewhere” she waved her hands making me giggle then briskly walked off looking for her husband.

All of a sudden a slight chill went down my spine, and the air in the atmosphere had changed. It was no longer peaceful. Then i heard a voice.

“Lucian? What is this? WHO is this?” my head snapped towards the voice and it was her. That girl i saw when we first came here. What the hell was she doing here.

“Angela, this is Anastasia, my mate” Lucian said proudly still holding my waist. She was shooting daggers at me making me glare a slight smirk at her.

“Mate???your kidding me right?? Ive been your mate for almost 3 years Lucian, WHAT THE HELL” my eyes widened at that statement and my head snappe to him and he looked worried.

“That was not my plan Angela and you knew it. You knew i never loved you, and im glad i didnt mark you otherwise i wouldnt have found Ana” his eyes softened at me.

“You —- “

“Angela, leave” a low voice came from out of no where. And she turned on her heel walking out.

A male approached us and walked towards lucian with his hands behind his back. He looked angry, then his eyes softened and he hugged lucian

“Yeah yeah ive missed you too dad” Lucian chuckled patting his dads back

“You arsehole where have you been?” his dad was hilarious.

“Ive found my destined mate dad, shes….amazing” he looked at me with so much love

His dad walked towards me and put his hand out for me to shake.

“Hello dear, Alpha Lorenzo” he bowed his head and so did i

“Hello, im Anastasia Crest” i replied.

“Madam crest grand daughter!” he piped up

“Yep….ive been hearing that alot lately” i giggled at that part making us all laugh.

“Welcome dear, so…destined mates? We can finally get rid of that angela” he snarled making me almost burst out laughing. Guess im not the only one that doesnt like her.

“And yet you were so determained i mate her dad” Lucian raised his eyebrows at his father

“Glad you didnt son….it was great meeting you Anastasia, i have a few errands to do but we will catch up again yeah?” i nodded as a reply.

“Son” Lucian his dad bowed at one another and her carried on down a long hallway.

“Let me just grab some stuff from my room then we have the whole day to ours —-” he stopped in his tracks

“s**t, your meant to be in school” his head snapped to me and bursted out laughing.

“That can wait, dont worry about that” he let out a sigh of relief

We got into his room and it was really tidy. Like too tidy, my room was a mess compared to his.

“You quite the clean freak arent you” i ran my finger against the desk and not one bit of dust.

“I get bored sometimes when i run out of things to do, dont judge me” he said cheekily making me laugh. He grabbed more clothes, a few files, and some other papers from his desk.

“Thats all i need, lets go my love” he kissed me and walked me out the door. His mom and dad were no where to be seen, mind you, they were busy people. I will see them again anyway.

“Wait for me in the car my love, ive forgotten something” lucian said and hurried back inside. I was already outside and carried on towards the car. I was putting his stuff in the back seat when i heard her speak.

“I dont know what you did to my mate but i see right through you” she gritted through her teeth

“I dont even know what your talking about, or who you are” i stated as a matter of factly with a raised eyebrow. I closed the door and opened up the passengers door to get in when she stopped me.

“You get in this car, and ill rip your throat out” she hissed at me and i could see her wolf almost surfacing. I breathed heavily and my wolf was snapping her teeth. One word left my lips

“Move” i said with my eyes closed. All i heard was a thump and i opened my eyes to see her against a tree in pain. Did i do that?? I went into panic staring at my hands. Is this what she meant? The moon goddess?

“ANA!!!” i heard a roar coming from the house and it was lucian

“Lucian im so sorry” i was pleading to him because i really didnt know that was gonna happen. He craddled me in his arms while other pack members ran to Angelas aid. She was refusing their help though. I was weeping. I think it was the shock.

“Im so sorry Lucian i dont know what happened, she wouldnt —-” he cut me off

“Its okay Ana, i saw and heard everything, im proud of you” he smiled down at me but i still felt guilty.

“I want to go home lucian” i whispered in his chest. I could hear Angela yelling and shouting some sort of carry on.

“Youll pay for this you w***e!” she was hissing through her teeth

Lucian snapped his head towards her and she froze in her spot. Must be the alpha blood in him.

“Get in the car Ana, ill be right back”
