Ana's POV

I slept like a baby. I woke up and it was 6am in the morning. Lucian had his hands wrapped around me and his eyebrows furrowed like he was stressed. I kissed his chest and he eased, snoring. I loved how he reacted under my touch. I needed to pee to so squiggled my way out of his arms and tip toed to the bathroom in the hall way.

I freshened up and went to lucians room noticing an entire new bed. he doesn't muck around does he. I saw my phone on the side table and grabbed it to ring my mom and Chelsea. I saw 2 messages from a strange number

I'm sorry that you found me in lucians home, it will never happen again Luna

I raised an eyebrow and read the next

I hope you can find in your heart to forgive me

I reached out to isis

Ana

bit strange isn't it isis?

I feel something about that girl after last night's altercation. but not bad

isis tilted her head as if she was thinking.

Ana

I'll let her know it's all fine

isis nodded and walked to the back of my mind. I replied to Angela's message. I don't want any drama amongst us so forgiven and forgotten

hey, sorry for the late reply, but that's quite alright, I understand yous were meant to mate. but thank you and apologie accepted

I hit send and put my phone back onto the side table. now to find me some clothes and freshen up a bit more.

afterwards, I ordered me and Lucian some breakfast, he was off to work at 7am so I'm glad I woke early.

I quickly sent my mom and Chelsea a text saying I was fine and I'll call later. I heard Lucian walk down the staircase. I had just put the breakfast I ordered on the table. he came into the kitchen wearing just grey sweats and his body was to die for. he was rubbing his eyes.

"up so early my love?" he said through a sleepy yawn

"I slept for hours Lucian why didn't you wake me?" I pecked his cheek and lead him to a chair

"yuuss I'm starving!" he piped up

we had bacon n eggs, hash browns, breakfast sausages, creamed mushrooms and toast...with black coffee to go with it

he started digging in without hesitation.

I soon joined him after realizing I was staring at him. he looked up and noticed and I turned my head down to my food, my cheeks burning red. damn it

"Angela messaged your phone last night" he seemed amused

"I saw that, I replied" I smiled at him talking a bite of my toast.

"nothing outrageous?" he said with a raised eyebrow

"no, forgive n forget type thing. atleast she knows to keep her paws off what belongs to me" that was isis and I rolled my eyes internally at her.

he chuckled at me and took a sip of his coffee

"your amazing you know that" he sat back in his chair looking at me with his beautiful hazel eyes.

I blushed at continued eating my food.

after breakfast Lucian got ready for work. he came down in a dark blue suit with a black tie, his hair was sleek and combed back, his scent was to die for, he looked like something that walked out of a magazine. I had never seen him dressed like this before and my stomach became to turn.

"you look....beautiful" I whispered that last part.

Lucian chuckled and stoked towards me. "I am a different man to the outer world. only you get my true form my love"

I understood what he meant, only I got to see him in grey sweats and no shirt...messy bed hair and sleepy eyes. I smirked at his "true form"

he grabbed my waist and I pecked his soft lips.

he grinned at me a devilish grin and crushed his lips against mine. taking every breath in me. leaving me panting.

he broke the kiss and rested his forehead on mine.

"I'll miss you every second I am away" with that he gave me one last gentle kiss

"enjoy your day, my little wolf"

he kissed my hand and headed out the door.

after he left I signed loudly and thought what the hell I was gonna do here all alone, all day long.

after freshening up, I walked into the kitchen to make me a coffee. my thoughts wondered to my dad, who was awfully quiet about the whole prophecy thing. I noted mentally to make contact with him. I am willing to fulfill it, just not within his pack.

I tried calling my mom who wasn't answering. I looked at the time and rolled my eyes. no doubt she would be binge watching some lame soap opera on TV. she answers to nothing when she's watching those things. the place could be burning to the ground and she'll be there on a sofa watching her favorite show.

I heard someone coming through the front door. I thought maybe it was Angela again and automatically switched on guard.

"Ana?" I heard a man call out my name and I froze. who even knows me here. a familiar face came into view. it was Mario. I let out a soft sigh. he was yall and built but not as tall or built as Lucian. he had blond wavy hair and blue eyes with cute dimples. he was quite the catch, but not as much as Lucian. Lucian was more, manly

"oh hey, there you are, Lucian asked me to come over n keep you company" he said smiling at me

"I didn't get to introduce myself properly, I'm Mario Valor, lucians right hand man and also best friend" he put his hand out for me to shake, I felt no threat whatsoever from him so I happily shook his hand

"Ana, as you already know" I smiled

"so, what to do here?" I asked shrugging my shoulders

he looked around with no hope of anything in this huge pent house.

"well, we can ways go take a look in the city, shopping or whatever, Lucian gave this for you" he handed me a platinum card and my jaw dropped.

"I can't take that" I was shaking my head pushing the card back into his hand and his eyebrows furrowed

"I'll have it then" he went to place the card in his wallet and I snatched it off him making him.chuckle

"I'll give it back to him when he gets home home" I put it into my back pocket.

"so where to Mr. Valor" I raised an eyebrow at him while we were walking to the car.

"it's just Mario" he said with an annoyed tone.

"whatever" I said laughing

we went into the parking lot and Mario clicked his beeper opening a luxury car. making me stop in my tracks

"is this what...what were driving?" I asked with a puzzled look on my face. what happen to the sedan hatch back we drove here in.

Mario tilted his head

" is there a problem?" he asked straight out.

"who are yous?" I didn't wanna panic but I could t help it. wad there something Lucian wasn't telling me.

"well let's just say, I work for the most powerful man in this city, and in this western hemisphere.....which happens to be, your mate" he stated quite matter of factly. but also wearing a proud smile.on his stupid face.

"what do you mean powerful?" I raised an eyebrow at him because I sure as know I was more powerful than him in my wolf form. and also with my new gaining powers

"not in our world" Mario rolled his eyes

"in the normal world. he holds more power than the president. but I'll let him tell you the rest, let's go" he walked for the car door, while I stood there kind of blank. what did I really know about Lucian besides what he's told me? I've been head over heels I haven't quite bothered to think about his background or anything.

Mario snapped me back to my senses

"you coming your highness?" he used his worse British accent making me laugh

"yea yea I'm coming" I followed him and he opened the car door for me. my eyes widened on the inside of the car it sure was luxurious. Mario got in the front seat and started up the engine taking us into the midst of the city.

I barely left my pack when I was with dad so this was all new for me. my eyes darted all over the place wondering what everything was. I'm sure I looked like a damn child. I could hear small chuckles coming from Mario. but I ignored them admiring the views of the tall buildings and the tons of people.

"wanna stop in and see Lucian?" mario piped up. a smile evident on my face

"is that okay? I know he only left this morning but..." Mario interrupted me holding a finger up as in to hush me

"you can see your mate when ever you see fit Ana, I know Lucian would love the surprise too, cmon let's go annoy him"

I laughed as he ripped a U turn. I could see why Lucian kept Mario close, he was loyal. and pretty awesome. like a big brother.

we pulled in front of a HUGE building. It would have atleast 100 floors. the words on the building wrote in big letters "VALENTINO LTD"

so this was his company.

"it's got atleast 200 floors, we're going straight to the top" it was like he read my mind.

I followed him through the door, and every thing was amazing. the interior design was to die for. the white pearly walls with black or silver trimmings, it was really pretty.

Mario didn't bother going the front desk but pulled me to the side, we were walking towards what looks like a private elevator. when a young beautiful girl came up to us and spoke

"Mario, you know better than to take your dates up to the bosses office" this girl looked me up n down with a raised eyebrow. Mario rolled his eyes and was about to speak. but I cut in

"his date? why would I be his date, when mine is already awaiting for me upstairs" I fluttered my eyelashes at her with a fake smile and hers dropped.

"HA! what nonsense, do you know how many woman throw their selves at Mr Valentino to no prevail? I highly doubt he would wanna date someone like you, you were sneakers" she held her gut and laughed at me. I was wearing sneakers, and it started to make me insecure but I covered it well

I looked at Mario ignoring her laughs

"take me to Lucian" I snapped at him

"miss you cannot go up there" she attempted to grab me and my eyes turned silver, she didn't see as she was behind me but Mario saw and his eyes widened.

"if it's such a problem Amanda, come with" he waved his hand in and I immediately knew what he was doing. my eyes turned back to normal and I smirked at him. he smirked right back. cheeky bugger.

the trip to the top floor was awkward. nothing but Mario's whistles filled the air. when I heard the ding of the elevator, I sighed a sigh of relief. the doors went open and it was a huge wide space.

to the left a small kitchen with a circle table, to the right, a sofa with a TV hanging off the wall, in front of lucians office door was a desk, I'm assuming was his assistants.

on his door it's wrote "CEO - Lucian Valentino" I smirked and headed straight for his door.

Amanda was almost chasing after me.

"you can't go in...." she didn't even have time to finish her sentence when I entered lucians office. his head snapped up at me, and a huge smile came upon his face. Amanda rushed in

"I'm so sorry sir, this crazy hooligan just busted in" her words tainted with disgust and I'd assume it was cause I was still wearing plain old Mary Jane clothing. lucians eyebrows furrowed.

she looked at me as if I had been defeated. but I could also tell she was after what's mine, but she was mere human and wouldn't understand our bond or our world. I walked towards and placed my hand on his cheek and he melted into it.

"I missed you my love" Lucian stared into my eyes and I almost forgot we had people here with us.

Amanda's eyes were furious. but she said nothing.

"Amanda, this is my wife, Anastasia" I raised an eyebrow at him. and he nodded as if to go along with it

"since when? I've been working with you for 5 years have never seen a female in your life" she snapped as if she was his girl friend or something. making me mad. she was human so I had to deal with his differently.

"Lucian, who is this? and why is getting angry about something that belongs to me" I spoke matter of factly and looked at him side wards. he knows how I am with him.

"I'm sorry my love, Amanda you need to leave, NOW" Amanda couldn't even hear his words when she snapped back at me

"he belongs to nobody! who even are you?" she was trying to hold her composure but I knew she was ultra pissed off

my head snapped to her, and I walked slowly towards her.

"who am I you say?" I tilted my head to the side

"show me who you are" I flicked my finger and it was like Amanda went into a trance. her eyes still, not moving but not in pain either.

I closed my eyes and flashed through her mind, her memories, her thoughts, dirty little girl.dreams alot about my Lucian.

I implanted a small memory in her mind. that should fix it.

I opened my eyes and snapped my fingers, making her come back to her senses.

"wow, what happened?" she said rubbing her head, she realized she was in lucians office and started to panic

"oh sir I'm so sorry I entered without permission forgive me" she had her head down and I almost felt sorry for her.

lucian and Mario were dumb founded on what just happened.

"that's quite alright Amanda you can return to your duties now" he nodded at her and she sighed a sigh of relief

"thank you sir" she smiled and turned to me

"nice to meet you miss Anastasia, I hope to see you around" she wiggled her fingers at me and looked over at Mario and winked at him making it hard for me to contain my laughter. even Mario was shocked. he gave an awkward wave as she exited the room and closed the door.

both boys sat staring at me

"what the hell just happened?" mario asked me

"I may have gone into her mind and replaced her thoughts of Lucian with you" I was looking at my nails while Lucian broke out in laughter

"told you she's amazing dude" he was laughing at Mario

Lucian looked at me and asked

"since when did you learn that?" a puzzling look came up in his face

"just down stairs, before we came up, I do t know ow what happened, but her life moments kept flashing in front of me, the thing I did replacing you with Mario was purely just a fluke, but a good thing to know"

"I did see your eyes turn silver in the elevator" Mario quickly said

"be nice to that girl Lucian, she's had alot of hard troubles in her life that I saw, this job is the only thing keeping her grounded" he nodded at me and agreed.

they both sat there thinking. after a moment Lucian speaks

"what brings you here anyway my love" he said tapping his fingers on his chin

"I suggested we come visit" mario shrugged his shoulders and lucians looked at him annoyed

"did I ask you?" his tone was cold

"Lucian, that's your best friend" I rolled my eyes at him and I could hear Mario chuckle

"I wanted to see you, I miss you when your not around" I walked to him and he engulfed me in a hug resting his chin on my head.

"shall we go for lunch? Mario wanna come?" I was excited. this would be our first outing in lucians world.

"I am feeling hungry too, let's head to the restaurant" Lucian suggested a restaurant but I not dressed for it.

all I wore was a plain black crop, ripped jeans and my chuck Taylor's.

"it's fine love, it's our restaurant anyway" he shrugged it off

"get the car ready mario" still not taking his eyes off me. Mario nodded and left the office. Lucian wrapped his arm around waist making me gasp

"never change who you are, how you dress...I love you just like this" he nuzzled his head into the crook of my beck making me whimper. I felt his smile against my skin.

"my little wolf" I heard him whisper

I moved my head to fave his and cupped his face with my hands kissing him with everything I had in me. after a breath taking kiss he took my hand

"let's go my love"

I nodded at him and he led me put of his office so we could go for lunch
