Angela's POV

when lucians assistant told me he was returning home for work I thought I'd be there as a surprise. I know he found his mage but I've known him longer, I've known him since I was young and have loved him since. my parents were friends of his parents and got along very well. he had always said if he didn't find his mate he would marry me. I believed it as a young girl and was determined to make it happen.

till this tramp came out of no where taking him from me. I entered his buying with no worries like always. every one knew me here. I walked in with my head held high like I was home. and I was.

Lucian came into the room staring at us both. with my head held high I spoke

"Lucian what is all this? stop with this foolishness and send her home!" I demanded like I owned him. I felt like I was gonna pay for it later though. but I still held my head high

Ana stood there and her changed with her eyes, I've never seen it before. I was about to buckle but focused back on Lucian, my mate.

I stoked towards him and ran my finger along his chest fluttering my eyes and pursing out my small boobs. I peek over at Ana, not to look at her but to look at her chest to see she probably has full blown globes. bxtch.

"send her home Lucian" I whispered seductively and Ana looked like she lost it! Lucian snapped at me

"you need to leave Angela NOW!"

Ana laughed and looked like she was in thought for a moment but then snapped back to me

"what's wrong Angela you look like you've seen a ghost" she laughed

"what....what are you?" I managed to get out, what was she? she made my wolf Kiara cower

"your queen Angela, are you trying to pursue my mate? your future king? you know that's called treason right? "

Kiara couldn't help but bare her neck in submission so did I, afterwards I glared at the floor

"I'm s..sorry I'll take my leave Lucian I'm sorry" I quivered and ran out the room not even closing the door. I had ran into the bathroom for moment to fall apart. I balled my eyes out in the floor then stood up and wiped my eyes.

I will get you back Lucian. I will get him back. Kiara nodded and shut me off. weirdo.

all of a sudden I heard small moans, I looked at the time and knew everyone would be off duty.

I crept back to lucians door and saw in the mirror they were making love. my heart stung but my pus.sy got wet watching.

lucians POV

after our round of love making, I carried Ana back to the guest room, it was around 4pm in the afternoon, so I told her she could have an evening nap.

she was already asleep by the time I got to the room. on the way here I swear I could smell a sweet scent, faint but familiar, I shrugged it off though.

I laid Ana down on the bed, she was still naked and curled up into a ball. I kissed her forehead and pulled the blankets up to her. and she was out like a light.

while she was asleep I thought I'd get into some work . I out some grey seats on and walked into my study. last time I was here, I was prepping to mate some one else. I shook my head and chuckled. thank the moon goddess.

I opened my laptop to see a ton of emails needing my attention and I didn't hesitate to get stuck into work. my business I run here keep everything a float. the pack, the city. almost everyone is in debt to me. Ana does not know yet. but she just mated herself to the coldest hearted man on the earth. to my loved ones, I am always soft hearted, I can't help it. but against the world, I am cold, I have to be. I spose its the alpha gene in me. but I also love to work.

I gave Mario a quick call.

"hey, get in here, I need your help"

"in 5" he hung up

I couldn't mind link him because his mind link is always closed. I rolled my eyes at that. he hated people getting into his head he use to say.

he walked into my office

"so the girl, that's her huh?" he grinned wiggling his stupid eyebrows

"shut up Mario and get these checked for me" I said firmly handing him some papers.

the red moon pack was requesting funds. what the hell do they think I am. an ATM? I rubbed my head.

"I need you to check that Amanda has done all the corresponding paperwork for tomorrow's meeting. Chester's Co has some sort of proposal"

Chester's Co LTD was the competition. we both ran similar companies but mine was larger on a major scale.

I run 4 major hotels, and 2 bank institutions here in the city. Chester's is also another bank. they've been trying to merge but I won't let it happen. the CEO is dodgey as hell.

Mario spoke. "these guys just don't give up do they" he was reading the forms I handed to him.

"contact Amanda and get her to send her paperwork to me pls" I was still looking at my laptop

"yes boss" with that he walked put already pulling his phone to his ear.

fuck, Amanda...I really need to find a replacement. she did her work well but she was annoying as hell. and if I wanted to save my own ass later from Ana, I had to rid of her. the girl threw herself at me every chance she got. her good work ethics is why I've kept her on.

staying at the pack didn't seem too bad afterall, no worries of work or annoying assistants.

I dipped my heads in my hands and sighed. then got back to my laptop taking care of all these emails.

after a while I looked at the time and it was 7pm. Ana still hadn't woken. I went to check on her and she was still out like a light. he mouth held opened making me chuckle. I walked back to our room to move the old bed out. the one tainted with Angela, when her phone vibrated in her pocket. I left it and it vibrated again. curious I picked it up to check. it was 2 messages from a random number

I was shocked. she would gauge anyone's eyes out that dared to look at me when we were in one anothers presence. my little wolf sure showed her. I smirked at the phone and put it on the side draw noting in my mind to show Ana later.

i moved the bed out of our room and sent a text to my maintenance guy to to move it first thing in the morning.

Ana was still asleep and it was going onto 8pm. I tried to wake her so we could get something to eat, I was starving, but she didn't budge. just cuddled her pillow and slept sweetly.

I walked back to my study when Mario sent me an urgent message

Mario

bro, somethings happened back at the pack house, your pack house, I think it's your brother

I shook my head knowing he would still be taking this too hard. I rubbed my temples and replied to Mario

Lucian

I'm on it

I put my phone down and rang my parents. my mom answered almost instantly

"son, your brothers on a rampage. he's come home drunk and is wrecking the house!" my mother was panicking, and I could hear her yelling at him to calm down, as well as jasmine sobbing in the background why she isn't good enough. I rolled my eyes at her cries. these kids are getting annoying. I sighed loudly

"put the little s**t on the phone" I hissed through to my mom

"he won't take it Lucian" my mom stated

"put me on loud speaker!" I heard a silence knowing I was loud speaker.

"dearest f*****g brother of mine" my words spat venom, it was still silent so he was listening.

"I'm not here to f*****g father you, but f*****g grow some balls and take responsibility for YOUR OWN f*****g ACTIONS!" I was yelling through the phone and it still sat silent. like I said I was a cruel man to the world, and to my family when need be. a side Ana will never witness.

I could hear him seething

"f**k you Lucas, I'll cut you off without hesitation, clean that damn house and do your duties or f**k off and I'll handle it myself" I slammed the phone down and face palmed my head.

fuck did I just say I'll take back the role of being alpha. f*****g great.
