lucians POV

when we arrived home we quickly went to freshen up and I had ordered someone to get my car cleaned. I actually thought about leaving her scent there but remembered I'm not the only one who drives that particular car.

Ana went for a shower, I laid on the bed just getting a minute to myself. thinking about my birth mother, how she sacrificed herself, such a selfless gesture. my eyes closed for a second and the next thing I knew I was asleep.

I don't know how long I had been asleep for but I woke up to Ana bringing in a tray of food.

"you slept well" she had a huge grin on her angelic face

"food, I thought we could eat before we pack for the city" she said with her eyes excited

I almost forgot I had to head back into the city to deal with some business

"yes thanks for the reminder" I rubbed my temples as I was not ready to go back. I was almost married to Angela, so someone her belongings were still at my pent house. she never stayed there once but on the occasion would visit and leave things to mark her territory as per say.

"is everything alright?" she had a worried look etched across her face

"Angela still had things at my place that I haven't yet gotten rid off" I said worried about her reaction

she sighed

"that's okay, yous were almost mated to one another, I'll burn them when we get there" she said with pride in her eyes and I grabbed her face and kissed her plump lips and she gasped

"what did I ever do to deserve you" I whispered

she giggled and ordered I eat while she started packing

Ana's POV

"I'm not sure how long we'll be staying there mom but I assure you I'll be fine, I've got all my classes online as well" I smiled and hugged my mom. she squeezed me tight

"you look after my girl Lucian or you'll have me to deal with" she spoke firmly and I chuckled

"mom I'll be fine, we'll call as soon as we get there" I kissed her check and she hugged Lucian

"well see you soon" he nodded at her and grabbed our luggage walking it to the car

we headed off onto the highway and laid my seat back watching everything go past so fast. I've never been away without my mom before but I feel safe with Lucian. wait we didn't even see his parents.

"we didn't say good bye to your mom n dad?" I stared at him with a blank look

"they'll come to the city in a few days time" he smiled at me and focused back onto the road.

I ended up drifting off to sleep. I'm not sure how long time had passed but Lucian was waking me up. I opened my eyes and looked around we were in an what seems to be a underground car park?

"were home love, would you like me to carry you" he whispered and I giggled

"I'm quite capable Lucian thank you" I replied and kissed his soft lips

he undid my seat belt and came to open my door. someone was already getting out luggage out of the boot of the car

"thanks Mario" Lucian called out to the man and threw him his keys

"no worried boss" he replied and carried on with his duties

"boss?" I looked at him with an eye brow raised

"my right hand man, and best friend, but you'll meet him officially tomorrow, tonight you are for me" his words filled with lust and it excited me

he grabbed my hand and led me to the elevator, when we stepped in he hit the button for the top floor. wow, fancy I thought to myself

"I ran alot of businesses here in the city, you could also say I own it" he grinned with pride pinning me to wall

"and yet...you own me, my love" he whispered in ear making my legs shake a little and the door bell rang letting us know we were at our destination.

the doors flung open and we entered straight into his pent house. my eyes widened at the sight of it. it was huge! it was like memaws house on 1 floor no 2 floors sorry.

the walls were sleek stainless silver with black trimmings, the archway from the entry held photos of moons full and Cresent. the spiral staircase leading upstairs had marble trimmings. this place was really something else

"this place use to feel so empty...but for some reason, I feel whole being here with you" he grabbed my hand and kissed my lips

"this place is beautiful Lucian" I was still eyeing every thing admiring the detail

"take a look around, I'll fix us something to eat" he winked and headed to the kitchen

I went straight to the stairs and walked up there so excited to see what's there. there were 4 doors. the first 3 were open. one was I think lucians study, the other a bathroom n toilet, the other a guestroom? and the last door was closed. I'm assuming that's lucians room. I took a deep breath and entered. for some reason I felt like I was invading his privacy

his big king sized bed covered in black and grey silk sheets and a black duvet.

dark grey walls, a tall boy dresser and 2 bedside tables. his huge TV hung off the wall while I sofa sat at the foot of his bed. his room wasn't as big as mine but he also had an ensuite. his room was definitely modern.

just as I was admiring his neatly kept room I actually heard something coming from his bathroom and the person that walked out shocked me

I laughed and started tapping my chin and thinking what shall I do? teach her a lesson or educate her? there's actually a difference if you didn't know.

I walked into the kitchen and seen 2 lovely dishes on the bench. it was fettuccine and fresh salad. I did not wait for anything and dug straight in.

Lucian joined me after a while and it was awkward

"I have work in the morning, so I won't be here when you wake, but you can always contact me when ever you need my love" he kissed my hand again

"I'm feeling a little tired, can we head to bed now?" I asked as I was a little sleepy
