Ana's POV

I woke up slightly to Lucian walking back into the room, his form was absolutely beautiful. he seemed sad..I could feel it in the bond

"hey whats wrong?" I sat up behind him sitting on the end of the bed.

he took a deep breath and sighed. still silent. he looked at me with sadness in his eyes touching my face. next thing he was crushing his lips against mine

he ripped the blankets off me exposing my naked body making him grunt. he spread my legs wide and slammed into me making me squeal and grip the sheets. he was slamming into me and I could hear him mumbling

it made me wonder what was going on. I let him release onto me. not that I was complaining, I had c*m a few times before he finished.

afterwards he collapsed on top of me and rolled off.

I heard a sweet whisper before he fell asleep

"I will love you forever Ana, forever"

what was going on with him, I kissed his lips and laid on his chest. tears started falling from my eyes, I could feel his sadness. I decided to talk to Blake.

I closed my eyes and focused on Blake, Lucian wolf.

Blake went back to wherever he came from. grieve? for whom though?

I peeked over at the side table clock and it was 2am in the morning. what was he doing up so late? I got up to use the toilet and noticed the book on the floor at the bottom of the bed where Lucian was sitting.

I was curious and picked it up.

"The prophecy of the predominal"

my eyes widened and went back to Lucian. was there something in here he didn't like? this book was about.....me

after cleaning myself up and making me a quick coffee, I walked back to my room sipping my coffee staring at the book in my hand. I haven't yet opened it. I sat down on the couch in my room and swung my legs onto the couch. I out my cup on side table and opened the book.

on the inside of the cover it stated

"property of shiloh crest" my eyes widened. that's my memaw.

I read through the small booklet and I was amazed. it held everything about me. powers I will gain, how to use them. it was amazing. telepathy I already knew. projection? I must try. teleportation I WANT to try. there's so many. and apparently I'd be the only one that can gain them all. the experience of gaining a new power is always different it says in here.

how did Lucian get a hold of this? nothing in here states ansadness or anything, so it can't be this book why he is down. or me thank goodness.

I looked over at the clock, it was 6am in the morning and the sun was already rising, peering through the windows. I slid back into bed with Lucian and he instantly wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me close to him, I was literally squished against the man's chest.

"already awake my love?" he whispered over my head.

"I've been up for hours Lucian, what bothers you? I can feel you" I spoke in a soft tone. I heard him sniffle and I looked up to see tears in his eyes, and his eyes were all puffy like he had been crying for hours

I cupped his face in my hands, tears brimmed my eyes

"what's wrong? pls tell me" I wrapped my arms around his head and hugged him letting him cry

"my mom isn't my real mom, but....my real mom comes once a year.....she has passed" he said still crying

I was confused, once a year? but she died? huh???

"it's a long story, I've just found out, and still wrapping my head around it" he put his head in his hands a sighed

"I'm here with you Lucian you can always come to me" I nodded at him

"I cam straight to you my love" he said and kissed my lips

"I wondered what last night was about"

he rubbed the back of his head

"yeah, I'm so sorry I was rough, but you always seem to keep me sane, you are my kryptonite" he kissed me deeply then put his forehead on mine.

"I'll get through this with you Ana, but for now I've found a book!" he was excited at that part

my eyes and smile widened

"I've read it! it's amazing Lucian!" I clapped my hands together jumping up to get the book for him

"no creepy stuff in there?? like you having to slay a dragon or some sort??" we both laughed

"no nothing like that, more like an instruction book" I handed him the book and he opened it up

he was skim reading the book when his eyes lit up

"aha!! I knew you had projection!" he piped up

I looked at him with a raised eye brow

"huh? what are you talking about?"

"1 thing about me Ana, I'd never handle a woman how I handled you after the fight I had with Lucas, I've got that much respect for all female, but you...made me a savage" he chuckled and I looked at him surprised

"I think that....that's true" I mumbled

"oh, how so?" he smirked at me

"I was thinking of those things in my head, I wondered how you knew" I blushed at him and he stroked my face

"my little wolf is amazing" he kissed my nose and got out of bed, I had been up for hours already so all I needed was to freshen up. I think I better put some time aside for chels as well. Lucian did bring her here for me.

"I'll get us breakfast my love, we will eat in here" Lucian nodded at me and went to get us something to eat.

it said in the book to focus on each power to use it. I closed my eyes and thought about projection, I pictured Lucian making pancakes and waffles, and orange juice...

within a half hour he came in with pancakes, waffles and orange juice and my smile lit up

"it worked!!" I said clapping my hands and I laughed

"you did it again didn't you? cheeky wolf"

he placed the tray of food down while we both laughed.

after a while we finished breakfast and went to freshen up.

I walked out of the bathroom drying my hair with my towel. I was wearing a simple long sleeved grey crop with black jeans. Lucian had just finished fixing our bed. I needed to visit my mom after school, I had been m.i.a for a bit so I better stop in to see her. wait, I said that like I live here, I turned to look at Lucian who was staring at me with lustful eyes and I rolled my eyes at him giggling

"you are so beautiful, Ana" he slowly stepped towards me making my core heat.

he averted my eyes from his hypnosis

"when will we be going home?" it was almost a whisper, and I saw him frown

"do you not like it here love?" he asked me tilting his head and I snapped my head up to him

"no no it's not like that, I just don't think I can handle living here with your brother just down the hall, plus my mom, all alone ya know" I tried to sound as nice as can be, his mom and dad were so loving but I couldn't help but be uncomfortable with Lucas and his stares all the time.

he smiled and grazed my face with his finger.

"of course my love, until I build our own empire on my packlands, memaws home it" I smiled widely and hugged him

"we can leave today, my brother isn't over what happened, I'll deal with him later, plus I have a few things to think about" he was tapping his chin in deep though

"okay, when ever you are ready" I nodded and pecked his lips.

"ooh! I have school tomorrow!" I was excited, I had keep taking days off and falling behind in my classes, thankfully chels always took notes for me. she was a great friend, she didn't even take notes for herself before I asked, meh she'll thank me later when she passes her exams. I giggled internally then a thought came to mind. Chelsea, where the heck was she? and why wasn't she bothering me like she would to spend time with her. I had to find her

it was like Lucian could read my mind cause he interrupted my thoughts

"I appointed her a guest room, she's around somewhere" Lucian said fixing his hair and turning to me looking so hot

"mind if go find her before we leave?" I half smiled at him

"yeah course, second floor on the left" he pecked my lips and kissed him back running out of our room, I can drop her off home, since Lucian order for her to picked up.

I got to her room and knocked on the door to no reply. that's strange, it's too early for her to be awake the girl slept and ate alot

so I opened her door

"it's just me chels, I....AHHHHH" I screamed at ran back out the door slamming it shut. this b***h was getting it on with someone in there.

"damn you Ana!! don't you knock?!" she yelled from the other side of the door

"I knocked many times before I came in there" I yelled back

"I saw your ass Chelsea" I teased her giggling to myself

"I came to tell you were leaving today, you coming or what?" she quickly opened the door tying a robe around her

"were leaving? why?" she pouted

"I need to go home for school...hey, so do you" I raised an eyebrow at her

"who ya got in there chels?" I whispered to her

a tall muscular man approached the door, with only his jeans on. he had wavy blonde hair and the same orange eyes almost like Lucians, this family was really good looking. he put his hand out for me to shake

"hey, I'm carter, her mate" I stared at his hand wondering, are these fingers even clean. he must of seen the expression on my face

"don't worry I used this hand" waving his other hand making me cringe. yup thats her mate alright

Chelsea slapped his chest

"stupid" she mumbled and he acted like he was hurt.

I could hear foot steps coming up the stairs

"Carter??" Lucian said to him

"hey cuz, turns out this is my mate" he said pulling Chelsea towards his hip making her turn red.

"I saw her ass" I laughed breaking the silence and we all laughed

"I'll freshen up and come down ok Ana wait for me before you leave, Lucian, can..can I stay here?" she asked shyly with her eyes at the floor

"you don't have to ask him baby, you automatically belong here cause you ate my mate" Carter told her

"I know the rules, but I am also respecting my best friends mate" she was proud to have me as a friend, and I was proud to have her as mine. and if Carter thought about hurting her I'll kill myself

"your more than welcome to stay here Chelsea, welcome to the family...cuz" he winked and lead me back down stairs

"I saw her ass" I couldn't help it, only other ass I had seen was Lucians. was I questioning my sexuallity?

Lucian laughed at me and whispered in my ear

"did you like it my love" he spoke seductively

after a while chels came to find me

"so, your really gonna stay? where did yous find one another? I'm so happy for you!" I couldn't help but hit her with 101 questions and she laughed

"I met him last night when everyone went to bed, I was sitting in the kitchen eating my late night cocoa pops, ya know the usual...and I could smell this intoxicating smell, I thought it was cocoa pops" we both laughed at that

"but then he came in the kitchen, and he asked if could smell something great, and that was it" she shrugged her shoulders with a wide smile

"a cocoa pops love story" I made puppy dog eyes making her laugh

"so I'll see you at school?" she asked me

"sure I'll see you school chels, have fun" I wiggled my fingers at her and she went to find her mate.

I walked out front with whatever I bring here.

"ready when you are" I said to Lucian

"see yous soon my son" he hugged his parents and kissed his mom

"I'll be back again mom and dad" why did they speak like we were leaving town or something.

Lucian put our bags on the car and opened the door for me letting me slide into the seat.

he started up the engine and the cat roared driving off

" I need to head back to the city for a week my love, work does not stop for me" his eyebrows were furrowed like he didn't wanna go.

I sat in deep thought

"can I come with you?" I whispered fidgeting with my fingers hoping he would let me

he pulled the car over in a secluded clearing and stared into eyes and then kissed me with so much passion

" I would love nothing more than for you to come with me Ana, I thought you would want to stay" he held his forehead on mine

I do t know what came over me but I took of my seat belt and claimed onto his lap. the place was pretty private and we had tinted windows
