Lucian POV

after I left Ana waiting in the foyer for Chelsea to arrive, I followed my dad into his office.

"we have alot to deal with son" my father said firmly. I knew what he was talking about. he wanted me to take my place as alpha..I still hadn't taken any thought about it.

I sat there in silence. thinking.

"I'm not confident that your brother will lead this pack well, with Ana by your side, our pack would be unstoppable, and strong." he said with so much pride

I was thinking about how Lucas will take all this. first I take his mate, then his position as alpha. he isn't gonna like this. I needed to find a way around all this without hurting my brother. cause let's face it, he is my brother, and I do love him.

"are you just gonna sit there and say nothing??" my father was getting annoyed with my silence.

"what about Lucas dad? I'm not sure if you know, but Ana was actually his first mate, he rejected her when she told hi. she was human. now you also want me to lead the pack? take away his role as well? the boys gonna hate me" I chuckled on that last part. my dad's eyes held fury n anger in them.

"she was his?? DAMN FOOL!" he voiced with so much anger.

"your brother lied and said jasmine was his destined mate!" he sneered at me like it was fault.

when you find your destined mate, their bond determines the pack. strong Luna n alpha means a strong pack. you can also choose a chosen mate if you haven't found your destined mate, but the bond with your destined mate will be no longer. that's why I am thankful I found Ana just in time.

my father was furious that Lucas tampered with the sacredness of the bond.

Lucas came rushing to my dad's office.

"why the hell are you yelling through my mind link!" he held his head like he had a head ache, in which he probably did.

"you" my father said through gritted teeth pointing a finger at him.

"do you realize what you've done? you rejected the best mate for you, for who?? some one like jasmine??? she has no interest in the well being of this pack!!" my father was yelling in face now. poor kiddo.

Lucas wouldn't take his eyes off me, he was angry.

"HE TOOK MY MATE!!" Lucas screeched at me pointing his finger.

"I never took anything from you brother, you rejected, she accepted, the fault is yours" I replied lightly, cause all I wanted to do was get outta here and find my mate.

"either way, it's too late, we've marked one another" I said without batting an eye lid

"you mother fucker!!" Lucas sneered and shoved me against the wall with my collar in his hands

"don't do something you won't win Lucas" I said looking him in his eyes, his eyes orange, full-on rage. his wolf had taken over. he threw me out the window in one swift move. I shifted quickly and landing on all fours. he stood at the window seething, eyeing me up.

I snapped my teeth at me and growled at him. I mindlinked him

"you want some ya little s**t, come n get some"

he roared at me and jumped from the window also landing on all fours. his wolf was no comparison to mine. Blake was mature, as with his wolf, zion, he was still growing, I was twice his size. but his wolf still held his ground.

he circled me snapping his teeth at me. members of the pack started to panic and no doubt looking for my dad to stop all this.

Lucian, what should we do? this is brother. we don't want to hurt him.

Lucas roared at me and came launching towards me. I quickly dodged him making him almost collide into the brick wall behind me. he roared again and charged for us again. this time I stood there waiting. might as well fight the little s**t, he wasn't giving up.

he jumped to try and take a bite of my neck, but with one move I swipped him making him land on his side.

"I'll f*****g kill you" I hear in my mindlink

"YOU WILL NOT!!!!" another voice came through our link. It was Ana.

the next thing we knew she was standing at the entrance of the castle where we were fighting. she was seething. I could feel her through the bond and she was ultra pissed.

she took a look at me and then back to Lucas. she walked to me, touching my face, I nuzzled my head into her hand. she calms me so much.

"shift" she said firmly and we both couldn't help but submit and shift back. we both stood naked trying to cover our man bits. how embarrassing

"I don't know what's going on here, but cut the crap! you have pack members witnessing your twos foolishness, sort it out!" she said firmly putting us in our place. I smirked inwardly. she's hot when she's mad.

she turned to walk back inside, I know she would have been annoyed cause Chelsea is here.

"oh, and Lucas..us, we.." she said pointing at the two of them

"never gonna happen, so get over it" she shook her head in annoyance and walked back inside.

I looked around at the other pack members, they were proud of her. I was proud of her. if she could put 2 mighty blood alphas in their place. who knows what else she could do, and she wasn't even using her powers.

we realized we were still naked, and ran off back inside.

"this is your fault Lucas, not pack members have seen our damn ballsacks" I said running inside trying to dodge everyone so they can't see my bare ass

Lucas said nothing but sneered and walked off to his room. he really isn't letting this go.

I finally made it back to my room and closed the door. Ana was sitting in there on the couch with her arms across her chest and an eyebrow raised at me. I felt like a kid that got caught doing something wrong. I walked slowly to the closet to get me some clothes. she was still silent. I was starting to get scared..yeah yeah big bad wolf not so bad after all.

"those pack members would have seen what belongs to me Lucian" she said and looked at me sidewards.

"I'm sorry my love, next time, take me behind a tree or something before demanding me to a

shift back" I tried to hide the fact she was making me s**t my damn pants that I ain't even put on yet.

she sighed.

"if it weren't for you and your brother fighting like children, I wouldn't have had to" she replied firmly. she stood up and walked towards me.

"while you were away, I learnt something new, me n Chelsea have been having fun with it, but I wanna try something new"

she lowered me on the bed and asked me lay on my back. I did as I was told and she turned back to sit on the couch. what the hell?

"uhhhhh okay??" I was confused with all this.

"just be still" she whispered from the couch.

I laid there waiting, till all of sudden...I felt something.ike something pulling on my d**k making me hard. I went to shower, and checked on her afterwards. again the tips of her hair glowed, this time it was a bit higher up her hair, no longer just the tips. I was curious and went to touch them. they felt like silk, so strange. her hair felt like hair. but the glowing parts were like silk. it stopped after a few minutes, I must find out what that is...also what she did to me during s*x. there's no way in hell I'd pull on her hair like that, or shove head down like I did, but when I did she responded in the most best way. could it be she has projection powers? I had to find out about her. for now I let her sleep.

I headed down to the castle library into the restricted area. there had to be something I there about the predominal, or the propehcy.

I didn't realize I had been in here for hours. I had been through every book, and nothing. just all the same stories we grew up with. I was almost going to give up. till I heard someone.

"what is it you seek boy?" a calm soft voice said. I turned to see an elderly woman, her hair long and white, her skin porcelain. she wasn't a pack member, I've never seen her before so was a bit skeptical in talking to her. I just tilted my head and wondered who she was.

"I know what you seek and you won't find it here" she said and walked away. I quickly got up to follow her

"I can show you where" she whispered. I nodded and followed her out the door. I followed her to my father's office

"it's in there" she nodded towards the door. I looked at her confused. was there something dad wasn't telling me?

"where in there?? this is my dad office"

I said, I was really confused.

"it's kept in a blue folder, on a brown cabinet" she smiled at me and walked back to where ever she came from.

I knock on the door, and with no reply I entered my dad's office and looked around, the window still smashed and I face palmed myself. he only had 1 brown cabinet, it was filled with a whole heap of encyclopedias, they were all blue. was this lady f*****g with me.

there were about 30 encyclopedia, so I opened each one, I got annoyed and booted the cabinet making 1 of them fall open off the shelf. a small book fell out of it. so small you wouldn't even notice it. I picked up and read the front cover

I hit the jackpot right here, thank you strange old lady! my dad walked in and looked at me strange.

"son? where have you been? did you sort your brother out? I left after he jumped from the window, I'm too old to be dealing with your boys squabbles" he asked and by the sounds of it, annoyed.

"well sort it dad...but did you know this was in here???" I asked him with a raised eye brow. and he also raised an eye brow at me and read the title. his eyes widened.

"where did you find this son? this belongs to madam crest, how did it get here?" he asked just as surprised as I was finding it here.

"some strange old lady from the library led me here, said it would be here on this cabinet, I'll thank her next time I see her" I said looking back up to my dad whose head was tilted to its side, as if he was thinking.

"strange old lady you say....she wouldn't happen to have long white hair?" my father asked tapping his chin with his finger

"yeah that's her! I didn't even get her name" I said staring at the book in my hands. I should give this to Ana I noted mentally.

my dad sighed...

"son we need to talk, with your mother as well" he said softly making me worry.

"okay? now or?" I asked, I was a bit busy here trying to figure my mate out.

"now would be good" he nodded and mind linked my mother to meet us here now. and without fail she came through the door. she rushed to my side bringing me to sit down, not letting go of my hand.

I raised an eye brow at them while they stared at one another. my dad sighed.

"that lady, was your real mother, my destined mate" he said and looked at the ground sadly.

"you were just a baby....when that war happened, and your grandparents were taken, she sacrificed herself, she gave herself to the enemy, my parents were dumped somewhere, but they were alive, to the enemy, that was mercy, and that's what she asked for." he was breathing hard and my eyes filled with tears, my mother was crying as well holding my hand.

"she was gone for almost a year till she appeared one day, freaking me the hell out I might add, but she said the moon goddess gifted her with 1 day a year here on earth, within her pack, whether she wanted to keep it to herself or not was entirely up to her" my father sighed

"the moon goddess works in mysterious ways son....she would visit you every year, but as you got older, it got harder to tell you what's happened to mommy" he said with tears in his eyes.

"you'd only see her once a year, but speak about her like she was here everyday, we decided it was time to let her go" he nodded and let his tears fall.

tears were falling from my eyes but I was frozen still.

"she led me to lucinda" he waved to his chosen mate.

"she said she is best fitting for me, picked by an angel as we say" him and my mom held hands and smiled at one another.

my mom. she would of had to go through so much of dad's grief. no wonder she's a great Luna. so strong.

but my real mom, no wonder I felt...safe, with her.

"your mom's name was crystelle" my mom nodded at me still holding my hand.

"she taught me everything I know about you, she was absolutely lovely son, your father was also ahh "open minded" about it all, it took him a while but he came around." she nodded looking me in my eyes.

tears still fell from my eyes, and I was still frozen,

"you need time to process son, and that's okay. we are here when you need" my father said, and took my mother's hand, patted my shoulder and left the office with my mom.

I looked down at the book still in my hands, my mind had a lot going on. I sat in silence still trying to wrap my head around everything.

my real mom, I want to know more of her. my mom now, I love even more, she loved me just like her own if not more.

I wiped my eyes and took a deep breath. and back to the task at hand, all this will need to wait. I need to know what's happening with my mate.

I'll find more about my mother crystelle when my mind can take it. for now, I need my mate. I need her.
