"maya".

          it's the day of the challenge and i will be a liar if i tell you i can do this because i can't. First of all am still soo weak and can't feel my wolf. Secondly the later i found in my bag from my mate has put me into an emotional mess.as i seat on my bed am still staring at it not knowing what to do. 

       'Dear maya,with a heart of regret i write this to you. I know i have been an ass to you since you came to my park and have been treated inhumanly.am soo sorry maya.so so sorry maya. I regret everything i have done to you and undeserving of being your mate and that i will regret till the end of my days. Please forgive my family too and i set you free maya. Please do not come back to my park because its dangerous for you and i want you safe. I believe mrs brooke will take care of you. Please be safe maya and never forget me even though i don't deserve it and yes i know my life will never be thesame without my mate but i accept that punishment wholeheartedly as punishment to my cruelty to you. I wish you luck and don't forget to be safe.'

i continue to stare into space with the later in my hand and the money i found with the later.i wonder what he meant by mrs brooke will take care of me. Is there something am not aware of? Snapping back with a deep sigh, how do i even go about this challenge? "Lily?" I call my wolf but still she didn't respond to me. Hearing the alarm i rush out of my room. I guess its time for the challenge. I make my way to the training ground and find everyone all ready in a fitted overall body suit but in different colors representing either your school or park. Yeah everyone from different parks and territory are here. Everyone from my school is on and oxe blood body suit and counting, i think we are about three hundred and fifty virgin girls participating in this..well i guess its my cue to withdraw from this whole thing since am no longer a virgin.so am not bothered by the many intimidating presence am feeling here. "Listen girls" umm yeah thats the chancellor. "Welcome to the maze challenge. The rules are simple. First of you will all introduce yourselves to each other and after that step into the maze". After saying there we all heard a loud noise. Looking at where it was coming from, behold a huge gate was opened and we all gasps seeing a huge metal building, the walls so high. It was massive and the sun shinning hitting the metal made it difficult for us to see the beginning and the end of the building. Mrs brooks voice snaps us out of our trance. "Here are the rules"

1: each one of you will step into the building seperating yourself from each other.

2: each one of you will have to find a locket. Use your abilities to find them.

3: when you find your locket, immediately find your way out of the maze.

4: when step out of the maze, put on your locket and expose the stone by opening it.

5: There are sixty lockets in the maze and one for each person but however each locket has a twin.

6: As you find out what stone you have, quickly look for the person that has your twin stone. That person automatically becomes your partner through out the challenge. But do not forget that everyone is a competition to you weather partner or not and not all challenge requires being in pairs.

7: if you do not find a locket,you will be disqualified from going further in the queen challenge.

Oh well that will be easy. I guess i will just have to walk in,play around and walk out and get disqualified.am soo grateful mrs brooks helped me cover my scent. Yeahhh! "It is time and you all have one hour to finish this, that snaps me out of my little celebration. I look around seeing everyone walking towards the huge building and then my gaze fell on aliya talking to mrs brooks while looking at me with discomfort. I look away not interested in whatever it is they are talking about. Heading into the building,well this place is dim. Just little shadows of light. The more i walk the weaker i get. I dont know how much i have been walking now but am definitely not searching for anything but i can see the determination of those who are searching. I take a sit by a corner as i got really tired of walking leaning my head in a metal wall thinking about what to do after this.A loud siren sound woke me up from my slumber. So i guess i dozed off thinking about my life. I immediately stood up seeing other students rushing out and i followed along.

"Aliya"

              After the chancellor finished with the rules,i inhaled deeply. This whole challenge has taken a toll on me but am determined to be part of the whole challenge and thankfully i hope i win the crown.that way i will run away from the hell i call a family . Andy has been tormenting and torturing me since he found out am one of the chosen. My dad invited me home to talk but thank God the school declined as it wasn't a matter of urgency. Andy beat me up after that saying i had a hand in the school's decision but oh well i don't care anymore. They can believe whatever the want and besides am used to him hitting me. I tried to put all my whole focus on this training and forget about everything else. Looking at this building again something clicked in my memory, the dream. It was thesame maze building i saw in my dreams and am shocked. Yeah i know few times i have had dreams and the come through but this was really shocking to me. Everything exactly as i saw it in my dream except the beautiful garden. Mrs brooks walked up to me. Yeah i forgot i haven't said anything to her yet about aliya. "Hello aliya" she smiles at me and i smile back acknowledging her presence. "Please don't forget to look out for her". And just then i saw maya walking slowly towards the building and something seems strange, i didn't feel the chills i always feel whenever am around her or any supernatural being. Yes i feel this kind of strange chills whenever am around supernatural beings but i don't feel those chills now as maya walked pass me looking soo pale and skinny.Thats really strange. Something is definitely wrong with her as mrs brooks said and just then i felt a burden to look out for her during this challenge. I turned back to mrs brooks and noded. "I will". I assured her while she took a deep breath. Wheew i turned around and took off into the building. Everything is just thesame as i walked in thinking of where to start searching from. My mind went back to maya and how am gonna look out for her. I can't even see her and i don't have time so i took a deep breath thinking of what to do next and then it heat me. Mrs brooks mentioned something about stones and i picked up two precious stones in my dream and surprisingly i knew what to do as smirk formed on my face as i make my way exactly thesame corner i took in my dream.each step i took i made sure it was thesame in my dream and when i miss it,i go back to start afresh. I kept doing this focusing my attention more in my dream with my eyes closed remembering each corner i took in my dream and finally when i was sure of my way, i walked one last time to the corner i found the stones and behold two lockets where at thesame spot as if waiting for me. I rushed immediately towards it picking the two at once. When i open them,they were thesame sparkling sapphire stones. I was happy and was about to make my way out but then it hit me. Why am i picking the two lockets when i only needed one? I became confused of what to do. In my dream i picked two stones, should i also pick the two lockets? I asked myself. I was running out of time and then again i remembered maya. Has she found a locket? How is she doing, i rush out immediately from there with the two lockets looking for her. I just don't know why am bothered about her. As i was looking for her there was a very loud siren. I guess time is up now. I started rushing out of the maze.

Walking out the sun hit my eye, i used my hand to cover my face for sometime still searching for maya.i found her and reluctantly walked towards her. I just stood close not talking to her.we are not friends, am just doing mrs brooks a favor.i put on one of the locket on my neck because it came with a silver necklace as i watch others doing same. I slowly looked at maya but she was just still doing nothing, so i guess she didn't find any locket. "Reveal your lockets", mrs brooks commands "and will those who have none step aside to my left". She continued as everyone obeyed. Maya was about to follow other's to the left when i immediately shove the other locket into her hand giving her a pleading eyes to wear it and not draw attention to us. She looked at the what i gave her surprised and  confused but understood the look on my face. She wore the locket stepping back to where she stood before. "Now we have sixty students moving forward for the challenge. Will you all check your locket and look for the person that has your twin stone,that person automatically becomes your partner through out the queen challenge". Just then i realized what i have just done. Maya is going to be my partner. Oh s**t no no no what have i done. " you have three days to enter the kings castle so get yourselves ready and dinner with the king will be in two days. Thank you students". She left and i hear jubiliation from others. I began walking back to the training ground train  since i have to compete with these beasts i better train harder and just then somebody pulled my hand. Taking my attention to the person, it was maya. 

"What game are you aliya?"

"And what are you talking about?"

"Oh aliya you know what am talking about. Why did you help me?"

"Well i had two lockets and you had none so i gave you one".

"And why? We are not friends,you should have giving it to someone else so why me?"

"Look maya i don't have time for this". I pushed her away walking out but she shoved the locket back into my hands as i tried to walk away.what an ungrateful person.

"Look thank you aliya but i don't need this"

"Oh wow look at that. Am i suppose to say thank you?"  I rolled my eye "you are aware your information is already added as one of the sixty right? Unless you want to die?" . I shoved it back into her hands and left making my way to the training ground. 

        Dressing up in my room putting my hair neatly together, i look at the stunning silver sequence dress on my bed,the nude high hill sandle with sparkling stods and the to march cluth purse. It was a gift from the king to us the sixty. My mind drifted to the wonderful time i had the day before. We were all taken to a beauty palace for transformation. The massage, nail treatment and hair treatment.we were all pampered. Although am from a rich home but i haven't received any princess treatment before and the place was soo beautiful. Snapping out of my thoughts, i slide into my dress.oh it was perfect on my body hugging me in the right place. I powdered my face applied my lip gloss when i heard a knock on my door.opening it, it was one of the professor telling me we need to leave now. So i hurriedly wore my shoes took my purse and left with him. Getting outside i see others out already and my eyes met maya. She looked so stunning with her  turquoise silk dress that hugged her curvy body perfectly well. Her blonde hair neatly flowing down her shoulder. Sheis really tall more than me. Looking at her face,her eyes where soo dull like she wasn't happy being a part of this. I could sense fear too in her eyes. Whatever happened  to her am sure it wasn't good.he bestfriend walked to her and they started chatting and i made my way to the only human girl there apart from me.she smilled at me in relief.i guess she's scared out of her bones for being the only human girl there in the mist of these beasts. Humans are scared of the supernatural beings but am not. Though i feel chills when around them but they don't scare me  i could see the hate and anger in there eyes. They think it as an insult humans are part of the whole challenge,i smilled back at her as i stood closer to the her,her name is ashley. She's tall and beautiful too but maya seems to be the most beautiful among us.nd just then two limos stops infront of us.doors open ushering us inside. Inside was beautifully designed in a gold and black interior.

              Getting to the beautiful castle, we where taken to a smaller building that is equally stunning, now i see others students are there already. We seem to be the last to arrive. From my school we are thirteen. We all waiting for the huge door infront to open as we chat around though am just standing alone.The door opened and i was speechless by the stunning chandeliers and light shinning everywhere with beautiful roses arranged perfectly well as i walked in. The table,chairs and gold cutleries where just perfectly arranged. I quickly looked for my table as all tables had name tags. I found it but yet again maya was sitting there too with her bestfriend and a vampire am guessing is her partner. I sat down minding my business and i heard a door open. Turning my attention towards it ,i see huge men on black suit  coming into the room and behold those eyes.those eyes that gave them butterflies the last time i saw them. That pretty handsome face,that shinny pale skin looking like snow and that dark aura that sent dreading shivers to my body causing me to stand immediately with the others. I was soo lost on him that i didn't even hear the mc announcing him in as everyone stood up. He walked majestically to his table. He is sitting alone. His seat looks just like him. Stunning gold and black leather well carved huge dragon's kings chair with diamond stones adorned in it.he waves and sits and everyone does thesame after a bow.
