          Thinking back to all that has happened to me lately, I didn't expected i would be here being one of the sixty girls who made it all thanks to the beauty sitting in front of me Aliya. After she handed me that locket, I was so surprised that i couldn't believe it.although i didn't need the locket but i was so grateful i saw this part of her. I met up with Mrs brooks telling her what happened in panic, she simply calmed me down and told me to believe in my destiny of which i didn't understand. Yes she masked my scent again before this dinner though she told me that i should be careful not to be close to the king or else he will find out as nothing can be hidden from him. So we are, in this magnificent room dressed in beautiful dresses having dinner with the king. My eyes met Aliya, she's not happy with are partners and i feel the same but i can't deny i enjoyed her being nice to me on that day. She looks beautiful and cute with her full straight brunette long hair, her gorgeous tan skin and deep brown eyes. She has the lovely well carved natural brows and long lashes with her pretty pink lips and she looks stunning in that dress she's wearing. Am taller than her but she's really curvy quickly removed my eyes as she caught me staring. Just then a door swung open, I guess it's the king because i can see the same men on black suit and yeah he follows behind. Oh God his guy is beautifully handsome if there is a word like that. I can feel those shivers and butterflies again and now i seem to be feeling my wolf.

“ Maya?”

“ oh yes lily you decided to come back to me now?”

“ oh c'mon don't blame me, you know what am going through “

“ yeah right, not just you lily. Don’t forget we are one”

“ am sorry Maya, i was just heart broken after our mate treated us that way and lost it when we

where caged. Am sorry i left you so weak”.

“ it's okay lily. You know i can't be mad at you but what woke you up all of a sudden?”

“oh yeah! It's that smell again. I felt soo peaceful perceiving it.this is the second time i smelt that scent and it's more intoxicating today. Who owns that scent Maya?”

“ oh its the king. He just walked in. I believe you already know where we are?”

“ yes i do. I wish you can go closer to him Maya. His scent gives me peace"

“ we will talk about this later lily. And hey don't zone out on me again.”

“ sure i wont, have fun Maya, i love you"

I start eating my food as dinner Is served already. “are you okay Maya" ava calls for my attention. “ yes i am. was speaking to my wolf". She gaps in surprise and hugs me. Well since this challenge, ava has been a little distant but i guess it's the challenge taking a toll on each one of us. I told her about loosing my wolf but not the whole story. “am happy she's back Maya". She smirks “ thank you”. I smirk back at her.

"Arthur "

          So much beauty here as i observe all the young beautiful ladies. I never liked or paid attention to the whole challenge thing but am glad zexon came up with pretty girls, at least they are taking my mind off the little challenges am having with my half brother. His really turning all the beasts against each making the humans more vulnerable. With Xavier’s report, I have a lot to take care of but his handling them for now. I trust him with my life. I sent Isabella to him to help him out. I can't live without those two. I will just pay attention here since everything here is done because of me. I glance around taking in all the beauty here but there is faint scent here that is pulling me. Its the second time i have smelt that scent but its too faint that i don't know where in particular its coming from. I noticed everyone is done with dinner and i motion jack to come over. “i want the ladies to dance for me”. I tell him and be nods and steps out. I can hear him whispering to some staffs on what to do and immediately the music changed into a more classic tango song and i see the little girls getting up to dance. This is soo amusing i smirk. I watch them after a while, picking out a girl i want to dance with. I stand up walking to her.'please don't loose it’ i mumble to myself but then as i walked closer to her, she seem so scared and nervous.i wasn't expecting that. The more closer i got the more fearful she seems. She very beautiful,tall,pale skin,blonde hair and curvy. I love curvy girls and i love her height too but looking at her eyes, i can see the soo much pain in them behind those fear and although she's a wolf,i can feel how weak her wolf is. I get closer and closer and something else hits me. I can't smell her purity. She wasn't a virgin and my beast immediately roared in anger. What was she doing here if she wasn't a virgin. Zexon will have to pay for this but immediately i stared into her eyes, i was lost in them. Soo much pain, anger and confusion in them and then fear which am sure it's because she wasn't a virgin. Am soo angry but yet i just want to hold her. She quickly looked down as i stood in front of her. I held her chin up with my fingers causing her to look me in the eye. Although she's lost her virginity but i can see the purity and naivety in her eyes. I snaked my hands around her waist and she shivers in my touch. I smirked not minding the eyes burning on us.

“ Your name?” i asked holding her closer as we moved slowly with the music.

“ ma..ya! My kin..g". She stutters. She’s so scared .

“ you are beautiful Maya". Holding her firmly leading the dance.

“ thank you my king". Now i can feel her relaxing abit and just then the music changed to more         fast classic song and i was just in the mood to dance.

“ can you dance Maya?” i asked i whispered in her ears causing her to whimper. She just shakes        her head closing her eyes. I know i have an effect on her.i can smell her arousal. i have that on        every woman.

“ step on my feet and follow my lead”. i commanded in a low tone. She stiffened not doing what i      said like she couldn't believe i just said that. I placed my left arm on her shoulders firmly while         my right hand remained on her lower back firmly.

“ trust me” i whispered again as my lips brushed her neck. Now she's panting hard. I have no               choice. I want to dance with her so i release my calming pheromones to help her keep calm            and it immediately start taking effects as i can feel her relax in my arms. She stepped on my         shoes obeying my movements as we both swayed along with the music.

          I was nervous and scared as he walked to me, i remember Mrs brooks warning of not letting him close to me.i want to run, i will to disappear but how can i? How can i when the most powerful beast i know is walking straight to me looking into my eyes as if he had found his prey.i lost it. I gave up all hope of being alive after this. “lily am sorry but it seems that we won't make it here alive". I spoke to my wolf. Although i feel this way but my wolf seemed excited. “something good is about to happen to us Maya. Trust me, i can feel it". She's talking rubbish so i blocked her and now his standing right in front of me staring deep into my soul.i feel chills go down my body. I quickly looked down. He lift my chin as he stood dangerously close to me and snaked his hands around my waist causing me a s****l panic as my body shivers in the body contact. He pulled me to him and i gasp.

“ your name?” he asked still staring at me.

“ ma..ya my kin..g" i stutter.

“ You are beautiful Maya". And just then my wolf howls in excitement. Am still trying to figure out       why my wolf is feeling this way. Its not like his my mate.

“thank you my king" still stuttering.

“ can you dance Maya". He whispers into ears almost brushing his lips against my neck and i               started panting so hard, i can feel the wetness dripping from my core. I tighten my legs                   together. I learnt a little from training but i shake my head. I don’t know what his up to.

“ step on my shoe and follow my lead” he said but i was shocked, i couldn't move. What's                    happening. This is too real to be though. “calm down Maya" lily says in my head. I feel his                 hands on my shoulder holding me firmly as his other hand remain on my waist.

“ trust me” he says but then i something in my body changes and suddenly i started relaxing as i smelt the sweetest scent i have ever smelt in my entire life. I relaxed in his arm and he guided be through the music. The music changed to a softer yet fierce song. As the bolero began, its soft Spanish guitar strumming, causing us to sway and slink around one another like an inverted mirror image. He spuns me and i could feel the force of his ripping muscles propelling me. As he pulled me closer, i felt his hot breath against my pale cheek. His every move was dominant and powerful and still, we circled in perfect sync. Our dance more than a dance. This rose every urge i had to be his, it was frightening and safe, angry and calm, sexy and sweet. Why didn't i share this feelings with my mate? Why do i feel this way towards him even when i have a mate. I was confused but lost in the charisma of this man. As he lifted me mid-air, his hands around my waist, i realised eyes were on us, many filled with envy and jealousy. The final step, the final pose then the room was on its feet showering in applause. The dance was intimately sensual. Just then he realised his grip. Stared deep into my eyes again and walked out from the room. Just then i realized i was panting. My feet shaking. I tried to gain my composure when i felt a hand holding my shoulder. Turning around i saw Aliya looking at me with concern. “ Are you alright?” she asked leading me to our table. “yes” i manage to say but truthfully i wasn't. Am afraid of what is coming for me. I saw the soo much anger and disgust in his eyes before he left the ball room. Am sure am in trouble and i worry Mrs brooks might get caught for helping me. Aliya gave me some water to drink and that reminds me where is ava. Why isn't she helping me instead. I look around but couldn't find her. “ did you see ava" i asked. “umm no i didn't”. But she sounded as if she's hiding something but i overlook that. Its none of my business. “we have to leave now, everyone Is out”. I glanced around the room and the place is almost empty. “ do you need help to walk?” she asked again. I wonder why she's being nice to me . “ not thanks” i answer and she nods and walked out too.i felt so lonely and alone looking forward to my dealth.so much for a dance.
