It was sad that I didn’t make it home in time to assemble my baby girl’s crib and her whole room; but what I found when I arrived at the pack house made me smile with pure satisfaction! My people loved me and my family, and cared for us. Jade’s bedroom was done, complete with everything I had ordered and the new things her momma bought for her.
Stepping inside that room was like entering the little fairytale, I can’t even describe what I felt at that moment when I found her on her bed, looking down to her momma who was standing on the floor trying to hand her a doll. She had raised her head and stared at me, then gave me that knee dropping grin that was beginning to be my favorite thing! Gosh I was so lucky!
