The look on Ares’s face got me concerned for a second! I cradled Jade’s little body to me, my hand behind the back of her neck and she snuggled her head into my neck, hiding away from the world! Ares on the other hand, looked like he had seen a ghost or something! He was pale and ashen! I tried to ask him but he kept on stammering on his words!
