Loading into the carriage, Nina's mind was racing with different thoughts. As they took off for the town roughly four miles from the Kingdom, two guards hanging on the back of the carriage as they made their bumpy way.
"Do you have an idea in mind, my queen?"
"Honesty I do not know, Lord Patrick has been known to give breath taking balls, from what I've been told." Jasper nodded, Nina stared out the window thinking of the up coming week, maybe Prince Victor was her mate and the pull wasn't strong. Feeling the carriage come to a gentle stop as Nina noticed she was on the outskirts of town, her door opened with a guards hand making an appearance to lead her out. Nina stepped from her carriage looking around, a few vendors were already busy selling their goods. She walked through the town smiling and nodding at the town people, many looked at her in a strange way, others whispered to people next to them or ran away, perhaps the dragon on her shoulder wasn't the best thing. Walking into a shop, the door chimed.
"Hello, how can-" A young woman stepped from behind the back room, freezing in her place.
"M-Megan?" Nina was taken aback by the woman's remark, shaking her head slowly.
"I'm Princess Nina, the daughter of Lady Megan" The woman's eyes widened, bowing her head softly peeking up with her eyes.
"I'm sorry Princess, you resemble your mother rather accurately." Nina smiled at her words, Nina moved closer to the woman.
"Thank you, and you are?" Nina arched her brow at the woman curious how she knew her mother.
"Oh my, I'm Miss. Clear I was the one who made all your mother's fits including her wedding gown." Miss. Clear smiles standing straight from her bow, she was a petite little thing, her golden curls barely passed her shoulders, she had a small curve to her barely noticeable unless you looked closely, her bright sapphire eyes held a story behind them.
"It's lovely to meet you Miss. Clear, I'm looking for a gown for an upcoming event." Nodding as she stepped out behind the counter, making her way to some racks with dresses. Sadly as Nina looked over them, none caught her eye.
"You mentioned you made my mother's wedding gown? Can you make me one?" Miss. Clear smiled nodding once.
"If you have time I can get some notes down, along with your measurements." Nine nodded as Miss. Clear took her into the back to start the process.
"There's something about her I can't place." Jasper looked narrowly at Miss. Clear
"What do you mean Jasper?" Nina stepped out of her gown, for Miss. Clear to measure her more accurately.
"I'm not sure yet, something about her seems off" Nina felt Jasper aura slowly growing, gently she touched his head telling him its alright. The aura fades around Nina, yet she did notice Miss. Clear looked rather uncomfortable.
"Are you alright, Miss. Clear?" Miss. Clear nodded standing up to finish her notes, she already had the design down per Nina's liking. Nina slipped her dress back on, turning to leave.
"Princess?" Nina turned looking at her, with a look of curiosity on her face.
"Um..I'll be by in three days with your gown" Nina nodded noticing Miss. Clear flipped back and forth from Jasper to her she's hiding something Nina can feel it. Nina left the shop and walked around the town some more, stopping at the vendors to get an apple to snack on, she came across a jewelry vendor stopping to look at the items, some flashy more than others, some a range of different gems. She saw a necklace she liked most, holding it up as Jasper gave the look of approval. Nina bought the stunning necklace as she decided that was all she wanted from town, making her way back to the outskirts of town where her carriage waited upon her arrive once again. Passing the dress shop, Nina peeked out of the corner of her eye, seeing Miss. Clear staring at her as she walked past 'Someone seems uncomfortable' Nina thought.
"I don't like how she looked at you when you came in, or how she became uncomfortable as we were leaving my queen."
"I couldn't have said it better Jasper, maybe you will peek on her for me?" Jasper smirked with his dragon, letting his fully extended fangs shine in the noon sun. Returning home after the town visit, putting her new necklace away with her many other items locked in her jewelry box.
"Jasper?" Nina turned to face Jasper, who was enjoying his dinner.
"Yes my queen?" Jasper instantly stopped eating looking at her with concern.
"Can I visit the realm again, I would like to start knowing my responsibilities." Jasper nodded twice finishing his dinner quickly, as he flew to the bed laying down, Nina couldn't help herself but giggle at her silly little guide.
