I was released from the hospital the next day, with an almost healed leg, but strict orders to rest it for another month before starting back up with training.
I was ready to go when Drew walked into the room
“hey princess” he said grinning at me, I looked behind him.
“Where's Hunter?” I asked, I was kinda expecting him to be the one to pick me up.
“Sorry Cassie” he said “He’s in a meeting with the Alpha right now, there's been some concerns that they are trying to sort out” he picked up my bag with a guarded look on his face “but don’t worry princess, I’ll take good care of you” he wriggled his eyebrows and I laughed.
