I watched in fear as Lucas’s large blond wolf form stalked slowly towards me. I could feel his eyes burning into me as he bared his teeth and let out a low snarl. I tried to inch slowly backwards but he saw and growled louder.
Everything inside me screamed at me to run but I knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere. I could feel my ankle throbbing and I could see that it was beginning to swell slightly, I knew it was going to be a b*tch to walk on. I tore my eyes away from the vicious animal who was out for my blood to survey my options.
