Your presence ignites the fire in my soul, and the passion in my body so exquisitely that I can feel my existence beyond dimension and parameters. You are all that my heart and soul ever desired. Now I strongly believe that when twin flames are intended to unite with each other, the universe will aways find a way of connecting them for their reunion and awakening.

**Kane**

My mate steps back, away from my grasp. Seeing her, and taking in her lavender rain scent awakens something in me, a memory, that doesn’t feel like my own.

I stare at my beautiful mate, as I hear my wolf Leo howl in delight as we admire her appearance. Her long brown hair, that complimented her blue eyes, golden complexion, and her dress hugs her in all of the right places. I felt something that I haven’t felt since waking up from the coma, I felt home in her eyes.

“She is a goddess.” Leo linked.

“I couldn’t agree more.” I stand just watching her.

“Stupid human, she is our MATE! Go to her, she is panicking, I feel her stress.” Leo links.

“Leo, she needs to come to us. Be patient.”

**Gabriella**

What is happening? I feel as if my world is spinning. Penny is jumping around excitedly in my head.

I feel my eyes start to well with tears, as I stare at the beautiful man in front of me.

“Penny how is this possible? My mate was murdered.” I link my wolf

“I don’t know Gabby, maybe the goddess made a mistake? Or maybe this is our second chance? Regardless I want to get to know Kane, OUR mate!”

“I thought we didn’t want a mate, especially what happened to our brother? I thought we agreed that a mate would make us weak?” I ask Penny now with tears streaming down my face.

I hear her whimper, at my question, but she doesn’t respond.

He stares quizzically at me, with his gorgeous blue eyes, as he runs his hand through his short brown hair, then grabbing his beard. He looks nervously at me, this 6 ft shirtless god of a man, sculpted to perfection. His v-cut, illustrated his flawless abs, which glistened in the moon light. I wonder how it would feel to kiss him. I see conflict in his eyes, before he steps closer to me.

“Baby, why are you crying? Will you please tell me your name?” Kane asks.

“Gabriella.”

Kane walks up closer to hold me as I cry, to wipe away my tears.

“Please tell me why you’re crying. Is it because of me?” Kane lifts my face, so I can look in his eyes, that are clouded in fear and longing.

Before I can speak Penny takes over, and grabs Kane’s head, to crash his lips onto ours. I hear him moan, as he grips my ass, to pick me up and set me on top of a rock. Instinctively Penny wraps our legs around his waist, and grinds into his crotch, gripping Kane’s neck so tightly, I’m concerned she may leave permanent marks. I need to stop this, “PENNY! “THIS? How are we possible? I mean, the Goddess showed me how Chris died. He was my mate. I never got to meet him.” I say, and try to break away from his embrace.

“I don’t know what the goddess showed you, but I guarantee that I am your mate, as you are mine.” Kane says as he caresses my back. “Baby, lets take a walk, tell me about your visions.”

I know it is the rational thing to do, but for some reason, I can’t move. I feel frozen. “Kane, do you mind if we just sit here?”

He smiles at me, “of course, can I sit next to you?”

I nod my head, and scoot over to make room for him on the rock next to me. I feel his eyes on me, “You know, I never wanted a mate. Funny right? And here I am with you, something I don’t understand, when Selene told me not even an hour ago that my ex-boyfriend killed my first mate.”

I hear Kane sigh, “Why didn’t you want a mate? Are you going to reject me?”

I hear Penny roar in my mind, “YOU WILL NOT REJECT MY MATE!!”

I shake my head to both. I feel Kane relax, and hear him blow out a huge breath.

**Kane**

“Kane, we are not her second chance mate.” Leo links.

“Leo, you heard our mate. Let her speak.” I say and close our link.

Gabriella shifts near me, as I stand to face her.

“Are you oka…” before I can finish, my sentence, she grabs my face and pulls me in.

“I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me, I just wanted to kn…… mmmm”
