Seeing her in such a state made my heart clench in pain. I wondered why she would do such a thing. Even though those words affirming the poisoning came from her, I still find it hard to believe.
The cell she was in was terrible, she was still a Consort. After all, she hasn't been declared guilty yet, so she can openly be treated as a criminal. I had instructed that her cell be changed effectively by tomorrow. There were even better cells that were empty. The turn of events was so shocking. Here I was so worried about her when she had gone hunting with Meredith, now she was locked up in the cell.
The thought of visiting my kids crossed my mind but on a second thought, it was better I stay back. I can't be so careless, someone could misinterpret my actions.
