Chapter 2The following day, Cody manages to get up on time, but it’s not without a lot of griping and huffing and a few curses at the universe for the workday having the nerve to start too early for him. Tuesdays are always worse than Mondays. Cody’s come to the conclusion that Tuesdays are worse because he’s no longer weekend rested, and he still needs to get through the rest of the week. It’s a mentally grueling day. Especially considering he still doesn’t know about the fate of his job and there are only eleven days left.
Since he got out of bed at a reasonable time this morning, Cody’s able to make himself breakfast. He’s sure to snap a picture of it and send it to Mrs. Safari so she doesn’t pester him again today when he stops for his cup of coffee. As he sits in his little kitchenet
