Not only does Cody have nine more days to go, Mr. Myers will be out all day. Meaning, Cody won’t be finding out today either. Cody probably should’ve started already, but he’s been spending most of this slow, long, and boring day on job sites looking for places to apply. He’d very much like to avoid having to find another temp job and not have to do this again.
Actually, what he wants is to get the accountant job here and not have to go through the trouble of starting with a new company. No relearning a new system. No having to meet a whole load of new people. No worrying about who might be a jackass or if it’s safe enough to come out as bi or if his boss sucks or if…if…
