Chapter 5 Enter Into Black Tower

When the young people in the town square tried to gather with his close friends, William preferred a quiet place and sat cross-legged. He thought a little about some of the information just mentioned in the white camellia knight captain's speech.

"Gateway of evolution within yourself?" William slightly frowned at that thought.

Even though William had died once, it didn't mean that he intended to throw away this second life in vain. Right now he didn't know any information about the evolution gate at all. For him, getting information about the upcoming situation was the most important thing in his life to make plans.

Then everyone in the city square began to count down in their hearts, especially the teenagers who were about to open the evolution gate. They watched nervously at the digital clock on his wrist.

10, 9, 8 ...

The last ten seconds started ticking.

Seeing that the number had fallen below three, William subconsciously held his breath.

3, 2, 1 ...

Ding Dong!

An ancient and extremely majestic clanking sound began to sound throughout the continent.

Then a gigantic jet-black tower appeared above the night sky, it illuminated the entire world with its holy white light. The tower soared high into the sky, like a bridge that bridged the mortal world with the world of the gods.

“What an amazing thing!” William was amazed to see the appearance of the ancient black tower, for some reason he immediately imagined about the legend of the tower of Babel when he was still on planet earth.

As the young people around the world looked at the black tower with awe and reverence, a halo began to light up across the land surface of every country in the four corners of the continent as well as the kingdoms and empires in the central continent.

Even in the town square where William was also shining. If people saw it from the sky, their ground surface had shone to form a Pentagon.

After the ray of light formed a pentagon, the entire bodies of the teenagers standing in the town square instantly disappeared. It was like their bodies had just been forcibly moved by that ray of light.

At this moment, William was standing in an unknown room. As far as the eye could see, everything was white with no other colors.

"Hmm? Where is this place? Is this inside the black tower?”

While William was confused by the situation, he suddenly saw a gray gate that was slightly similar to the gate of truth he had seen before.

Unlike the gate of truth which had a mural of an ancient tree whose branches were connected to many worlds, the gate of evolution in front of William had murals of various different races.

The mural depicts the dragon race that is spitting its fire, the demon race that is boasting of its physical strength, the 12-winged angel race that is boasting the beauty of its strength, the monster race that is boasting of its destructive power, and various other races that are at the bottom.

Among the existing races, only the human race truly has the lowest position of the others. The human body sitting in meditation had been described as the lowest position of the other races in the evolution gate mural.

“What is the meaning of this mural? Is the human race the starting line for the evolution of other races?”

“Or can the human race evolve into another race when their strength reaches a high level as depicted on the mural on the evolution gate?”
