Chapter 6 Battle Spirit: Controlling Bones

At this moment, William was standing in an unknown room. As far as the eye could see, he could only see white without any other color at all.

"Hmm? Where is this place? Is this inside the black tower?”

While William was confused by the situation, he suddenly saw a gray gate that was slightly similar to the gate of truth he had seen before.

Unlike the gate of truth which had a mural of an ancient tree whose branches were connected to many worlds, the gate of evolution in front of William had murals of various different races.

The mural depicts the dragon race that is spitting its fire, the demon race that is boasting of its physical strength, the 12-winged angel race that is boasting the beauty of its strength, the monster race that is boasting of its destructive power, and various other races that are at the bottom.

Among the existing races, only the human race truly has the lowest position of the others. The human body sitting in meditation had been described as the lowest position of the other races in the evolution gate mural.

“What is the meaning of this mural? Is the human race the starting line for the evolution of other races?”

“Or can the human race evolve into another race when their strength reaches a high level as depicted on the mural on the evolution gate?”

When William was confused, he subconsciously drew closer to the evolution gate that was in front of him.

Then William stretched out his right hand to touch the evolution gate, then a gray aura had emerged from the evolution gate and flowed into William's soul.

A foreign name had flowed into his mind. The name was Controlling Bones.

Controlling Bones, an ability that can control the user's own bones.

“An ability that can control all the bones in the user's body at will? Hey seriously, shouldn't this ability be suited for masochists? Just imagining it gives me goosebumps.”

While William was thinking about the Controlling Bones ability he had just acquired, an image of a human body that was at the evolution gate began to shine brightly by itself.

Then the white world that was around him let out a very majestic sound coming from behind the evolution gate.

“Living a life without pain will achieve nothing, because sentient beings cannot gain anything without sacrificing something. It is the most eternal law in the universe, which is equal exchange.”

“Equivalent exchange?” With his confused expression, William suddenly sensed that something was missing from him.

After the majestic voice behind the evolution gate finished, William's consciousness suddenly began to disappear from the white world.

In the town square.

At this moment, countless rays of white light descended from the sky. The white light came from the colossal black tower on the southern continent.

Moments later after the white light stopped descending from the sky, the five colossal black towers that were from various continents had vanished from the entire world simultaneously.

"Hey! They have all returned!”

As William's consciousness returned to reality, he heard loud screams from the surroundings.

Even though the town square area had been forbidden to be approached by residents unrelated to the resurrection ceremony, William could still hear the commotion in the outside area.

At this moment, a domineering voice had returned to William's ears.

“Seeing the happy expressions on your faces, it looks like some of you have acquired strong Battle Spirit abilities in combat.”

When William looked up towards the source of the voice, he saw the captain of the Spirit Warriors from the previous White Camellia group.

Right now the white masked captain was gasping for breath like exhaustion from expelling too much Spirit Energy, it was completely different from the dignified demeanor he had before the awakening ceremony started.
