Chapter 8 KATERINA Lucian and I spent the whole weekend in my house, just talking and getting to know each other better. I studied his mannerisms and tried to decipher all the words he wasn’t saying. He seemed like a genuine guy and I could sense he was actually telling the truth when he spoke. But doubt crept in anyway, although that might have had something to do with the fact that my period was still late.
