Estella’s POV The room spun. I couldn’t decide whether to scream, laugh, or jump out of the nearest window. Darius and Dane were the same person. They had been from the start! “Darius,” I said in a trembling voice. “Or should I say, Dane? Which one of you is standing in front of me right now?” His silence was worse than denial. It confirmed everything—the lies, the deceit, all those moments I had with both while he had been lying to me. I wanted to scream at him, to punch him and kick him until he erased all those weeks where I’d been drowning in guilt, convinced that I was betraying one mate with another. I had hated myself for not being able to choose, for keeping such a monumental secret from them both. “Why?” I asked weakly. “Why were you thinking? What was the point? To test me?
