Finding my true mate

A fresh start.

After our bonding time, and the bonding time of Dawn and Kristy, we spent a lot more time together. I found out that Mitzy ans Jordan had split up for a bit she didn't tell me why. They had been together for about a year now. He seemed like a good guy but I could feel that there was something else, something dark surrounded him. I didn't want her to be with him. She said it was fine, and to leave it alone so I did.

Thanksgiving came and went. Nothing exciting happened besides the fact that I was so lonely. I wanted to be with someone. I just didn't even know how to go about that. I wasn't one to approach anyone really. I was too shy for that. I hadn't slept with anyone in months either. I was happy though. I really was.

By Christmas Mitzy and Jordan were back together. I was happy for them but unsure it was a good idea. I decided to leave it alone.

Christmas time was the typical party good food and great company. Towards the end of our Christmas break, Lynne reached out to me to go get her new schedule at the school before the break ended. I said I would go with her.

"Get cute, maybe you will find a cute guy while we are there."

"Okay but I don't even know if I'm looking for one."

"I know I know... but you never know Kallie, I'm heading over to get you. So don't take too long! "

"Okay just come up to my room when you get here!"

I got dressed in some cute jeans and a tight fitted top with some cleavage poking out. Why am I even doing this? I sighed to myself.

I had just finished my hair and make up and was about to head out of my room when Lynne busted in, "Are you ready my beautiful bestie?"

"Yup let's go!"

We got to Liberty and parked. Lynne walked in like she owned the place. Saying hi to this person and that person. We were headed to the cafeteria to pick up her schedule. When we turned the corner, I noticed these 2 guys sitting on the floor against the wall. I glanced over in their direction.

"Hey what's up?" one of them said

"Hey hey just getting my schedule. what's up with yall?"

"Nothing just hanging out waiting on the rest of my friends to get their stuff so we can go."He looked at me "are you new?"

"Oh no, just moral support, she wanted me to come with her to get her schedule. I go to Harlton."

"Ah okay then. well see yall later. here are our friends now." he said

My gosh he was gorgeous. He was tall and muscular but not too muscular. Short light brown hair almost dirty blonde and the most gorgeous blue eyes. I was pulled from my thoughts when Lynne locked arms with me and we walked to get her schedule. After we finished with all of that we went back to the pack house. We were picking up some things so that I could stay the weekend with her.

Once I gathered all of my things we headed back to her parents house and ate some dinner and watched some movies. We were drinking and talking and having some fun. We decided to go log into our MySpace accounts. I couldn't get that guy off my mind.

"Hey uh... who was that guy today at the school?" I had finally drank enough to ask.

"hmmmm .. oh that's Keith. Pretty sure he has a girlfriend though to be honest with you."

"Ah well that stinks. you don't know for sure though?"

"no I don't. let's look him up and you can ask him yourself."

After searching for a few minutes she found him and sent him a friend request and a message.

"Hey Keith, it's Lynne from school... text me sometime." she gave him her number and that was that.

I logged into mine and sent him a friend request as well. I thought it odd Lynne was sending him her number and didn't mention me at all, but she was my friend and I trusted that she knew what she was doing.

We went to sleep after some more girl talk. The next day when we woke up she looked at her phone and didn't have a text message. We logged into MySpace and saw that she had a message, it was from Keith.

hey I don't have a phone right now but I can message on here. so what's up ? why message me all of a sudden ?

I wanted to message him too. That's the whole reason that he was messaged in the first place.

I didn't know how to approach the situation without sounding like a jealous crazy person. I left it alone. She messaged him back.

Hey! okay no worries we I just wanted to let you know that my friend that I had with me that day thinks you're pretty hot so she wants to get to know you. She may be messaging you or you can find her if you want to. Kallie Nicholas. Anyway I got to go we are going to go shopping so we will take to you later.

We decided to go to Kohls to go shopping. We spent the day shopping and then went to eat at Sonic. She took me home and I decided to go into my room and use the computer to see if I had any messages from Keith.

I didn't yet so I decided to message him instead.

Hey! I am Lynne's friend from school I briefly met you. I was wondering if you wanted to maybe hang out sometime.

He didn't message me back for a few days and I figured he just wasn't interested in me. So I texted Lynne to see if she had heard anything from him and she also hadn't. I decided to forget about it. I wasn't even trying to get into another relationship right now. If it happened it happened but I didn't want to force anything to happen.

A few days later I was snooping on Collins MySpace to see if he was still with that Roni girl. Apparently they were happier than ever. It made me a little jealous. He was suppose to be mine. He was gone.

I decided it was time to fully move on. I had to. Just then I got a message. It was Keith.

Hey sorry it takes me so long to respond. I have to go to my neighbor Tiffany's house to use her computer.

Oh so there was hope for something to come from this after all. Cool. I didn't want to seem to eager so I thought about waiting it out and messaging later but then I realized that this was the time to message him when he had access to the computer.

Hey there! I didn't think i was going to hear from you, I had pretty much given up. What are you up to today?

I'm just chillin at home really. Maybe go to the mall or something If you want we could meet up there ?

I will have to see but I just got back home not too long ago so I would have to see if I'm able to get a ride up there or not.

Okay well no worries we can always try another day. but hey here is my house number. you can call me on there.

Awesome. thanks. I will let you know when I figure out when we can hang out.

I decided to figure out when we could hang out and Lynne had an idea that we could go to the community pool near her house. We went to go pick Keith up a couple days later and we went to hang out at the pool. We had so much fun and I have to say he was definitely easy on the eyes. His 6 pack was definitely something to look at.

We spent time flirting and just enjoyed eachother and then Cody showed up so Lynne had her boyfriend there Keith and I kissed. I felt like this was moving fast but to move on from my past s**t show I needed a distraction. I decided to just go with the flow.

When we finished with the pool we all went back to Lynne's place to get changed and have something to eat. Keith and I had really gotten to know eachother in that time and really hit it off. I learned that he didn't really know his dad and his mom was not too great to him and his younger sister Harper.

Keith was sweet but he had this way about him that was just so confident. I admired his confidence. I found out that he worked at a pizza place. He made a call to work and decided we could all go there for some free pizza that night. We had the most delicious pizza ever. Keith was working so he didn't get to spend the whole time with us but he did make sure to hang out with us when he could. I noticed a dark haired girl walk in, and I noticed a change in the way he acted when he saw her. He told us he would come back before we left and he disappeared into the back for the remainder of the time we were there. We waited around to see if he was going to come out and when he didn't I went to the counter and asked for him. The cashier disappeared to go get him and he came out front with us to walk us to the car. He hugged me and kissed me goodbye and told me he would call me later.

After a few weeks of seeing eachother when we got the chance. We finally started dating. I let Lynne know that we were official and she said, "I thought he had a girlfriend I see him at school with some girl all the time. "

"He said they broke up. I don't know. Can you find out for me though please?"

"Of course I can. I got you Kallie."

"Thank you. talk to you soon."

That was the morning before school. I got a text halfway through the day from her.

-Kallie... I just saw Keith with this girl. her name is Anna and they were holding hands and kissing before class. She is younger than us by a grade or 2."

interesting. I guess I'm going to have to have a talk with him about this after school then.

-I guess so. just looking out for you love.

I appreciate you! talk to you after I talk to him. okay ?

-yup sounds good let me know how that goes! good luck.

I was so flustered and I had no way to find out what was going on until after school. I was out of school before they were because I only had 3 classes this semester.

I went straight to work after school. I saw Lynne later in my shift and we talked about things. I got a phone call while at work and it was Keith.

"Hey Kallie."

"hi..I can't talk to you right now but we do indeed have somethings to talk about."

"oh..okay... is everything alright?"

"Honestly I'm not sure. but you can clear that up for me later."

I hung up the phone. Lynne was next to me. "you alright ? "

"eh yeah. just want to find out what is going on. can you take me home when we finish cleaning up here ?"

"of course I can."

We finished out our shift and cleaned up our department. when I got home I took a deep breath and called Keith at home.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is Keith there?"

"Yes he is, who is this?"

"This is Kallie."

I could hear her calling for Keith to come to the phone and tell him who it wa on tbe other end.

"Hey Kallie. what's up?"

"I need you to tell me who that girl was that you were holding hands with and kissing today at school. Don't lie to me. Lynne saw you two."

I heard him let out a sigh. "That was my ex girlfriend. She thinks we are still together. She won't leave me alone. she grabbed my hand and kissed me before class. I tried to pull away. she didn't allow it."

"That's the truth?"

"Yes I promise."

I sighed. "Okay. I believe you. I'm going to bed. I'll see you sometime soon. My dad is going out of town soon. So maybe you can come stay with me while he's out of town. What do you think?"

"That sounds great!"

"Awesome. Goodnight."

I hung up the phone and went to sleep.

2 weeks later

My dad went out of town and soon there after Keith was dropped off. We spent most of our time that weekend in bed naked. I had to say. He was good in bed. Definitely bigger than Ray but definitely not near the size of Collin. The s*x wasn't as passionate as it was with Collin and I began to wonder if that would change or ever happen again at all for me. I hoped it would, but I was going to accept it either way.

Keith said that he needed to use my phone to call his mom. So I let him. He walked out of the room and I could hear some of what he was saying but not much of it. He has starred acting weird but I wasn't sure why. I tried to hear what he was saying. I know he said it was his mom but the way that he was talking made me think other wise.

"okay I'll see you soon.... I love you too. bye. "

"That was your mom?" I questioned

"yeah it was. they're about to come pick me up here soon. So I gotta get my stuff ready. Here's your phone."

I went to help him get his stuff together to help him get ready. Then I got a text message.

-hi who is this ?

you are texting me I should ask who this is.

-my name is Anna, I need to know if you and Keith are just friends or if you are more than that. please don't lie to me.

I was shocked. how did she get my number...? Then it dawned on me. I kept calm and looked at Keith

"What's that look for ?"

"Well someone is texting me... Anna? she's asking if we are just friends or more than that."

"You have to tell her that we are just friends Kallie. I don't want all that drama. She is my ex and she is insane. Just please tell her that we are just friends. For me."

I gave him a look and raised my brow. "But were not... so why lie."

"I work with her and I just don't feel like dealing with it Kallie please?"

He took my phone from me and sent a message back to her.

yes we are just friends nothing more. please don't text me again.

He closed my phone and handed it back to me. I looked at it and he had left the message there and told me to delete it. I did as he said and as we finished the doorbell rang. It was his mom and it was time for him to go. We kissed and said our goodbyes.

Hmmmm.... I looked at my phone and saw that there was a number that he had called. Interesting.

I called Lynne. "You up for some investigating?" I asked.

"Always... what's up?"

I explained the whole thing to her and she was on board.

"on my way to get you. we can drive over to his area and we will get to the bottom of this."

"perfect. see you soon."

I will be d****d if I get screwed over. Nope. Not allowed to happen. My adrenaline was pumping. I knew that my powers were growing because I knew something was up. I could feel exactly what was going on. I kept seeing visions of Keith and Anna all weekend at a park. I couldn't make sense of them. I would figure it out though. If it was the end of this relationship I would get to the bottom of this.

Lynne showed up and we made our way to Keith's neighborhood all the while I was texting the number that he had called from Lynne's phone. So that it wouldn't be recognized as me.

Hello Is this Anna by chance ?

-yeah who is this?

that is something I can't tell you. All I know is you need to stay away from Keith. Him and Kallie are together and they are happy. you need to back off.

-Who is this ?! this is Keith whoever this is you need to leave her alone. Is this Kallie? or Lynne ?

No it's neither of those. good try though. tell me where are you ? you're with Anna obviously so where ?

-We are at a park.

"They're at a park Lynne."

"Well I'll go to the nearest one. We will find them don't you worry."

Lynne had her boyfriend Pierce with her. Her and Cody were never official come to find out. They were just friends. Could have fooled me. I didn't question it though. There was something there. Without a doubt but I guess it was just a time filler for them.

We got to the park but there was nobody there.

What park are you at? I am bored. I could use some entertainment.

-Why would I tell you that ?

Oh don't worry. I'm at a park myself. So if you're here I would think that I would see you. I don't think you're here though. Not many people around over here.

-we are at the Ranch park.

"Let's roll. They're not far."

"Where are they?"

"The Ranch."

"On it. let's go get to the bottom of this."

We got into her car. She told me to get into the back seat because she didn't want me seen. Pierce was in the front seat and she was driving.

We pulled into the parking lot and as we pulled in we spotted them. There were 3 girls. 2 our age and one younger. Holding Anna's hand was none other than Keith. I was fuming mad.

Lynne whipped in a parking spot... more like 3. Sideways and pushed her door open. "Stay Kallie. Pierce don't let her out of the car. I am going to handle this."

She hopped out of the car and stood leaning on the door. Pierce sat and waited for a que from Lynne.

I sat very impatiently. "Hey Keith whats up ?! " She said walking around to the front of the car in view of the group of them.

I saw him stop and release Anna's hand. I could feel Kristy p****d in my head. But she stayed back.

"Hey what's up?" he said thinking nothing much of it from his reaction.

"Keith who is this?" Anna asked.

"Oh I'm sorry let me introduce myself" she said "I am Lynne. I goto school with yall and this..." Pierce rolled down the window at that moment, "Is Keiths girlfriend from Harlton."

Anna was fuming and clearly confused. I smiled and waived out the window. Anna's friend said something but I was so annoyed that I didn't hear what she said.

Keith didn't know what to do so they all started walking away. Lynne drove slowly beside them and was talking s**t the entire time she was driving next to them.

"Leave us alone!" Keith yelled at her.

She laughed and sped out of the parking lot. I was so mad and embarrassed and felt kind of terrible for how that went down. I didn't know what to think, how to feel or what to do.

Lynne took me home. "You going to be okay? " "yeah ill be fine." I said.

She hugged me and her and Pierce left. I went upstairs and just face planted onto my bed. I got a phone call.

"hello?"

"Kallie, it's Keith. why would yall do that?"

"Well I should ask you the same question. you lied to me. you lied to everyone Keith. why would you do that!?"

"I don't know Kallie. She's the one I lost my virginity to. I have been with her since. I love her, but I'm falling for you also... she let me borrow her phone for the night so I could talk to you."

"Wait what? why so you could break up with me ? no need. I can't do this! I don't trust you!"

"Well actually no.. I made a suggestion. I stay with you both and you two will try to win me over. After a few months, I will pick the winner."

"A competition? seriously?!"

" Yeah, look I'm on my way home. just think about it and let me know okay? right now you are winning if that means anything."

I thought for a moment. My competitive side came out. I don't know what I was thinking at that moment. I couldn't back down from a challenge. I was the alpha b***h here. I would win this fight. I know I would.
