I glanced at myself for the last time, in the mirror. I was clad in the white attire jay had selected for me. My features were a plus point to my appearance. I had inherited my mother's looks, but Rowan got them more than me. I had inherited the not too fair but fair skin color from our father but my eyes, a shade between gray and green, they resembled my mother's dark green eyes. My brother had inherited her rich red hair, while mine was a shade between red and dark brown. She was, unquestionably one of the most beautiful women of her time.
I made my way down the stairs to big hall. I had done everything. It was probably gonna be a long day. And Rowan was there too. It had been too long since we had attended any ceremony together. 10 years. That was a pretty long time. It was him who proposed that. Finally reaching the entrance to big hall, I saw my brother clad in his white tuxedo with a cream white shirt underneath and white pants, just like me. Jay proposed this idea to have same suits. I would've never agreed, if not for my brother. It was a big day for him. Lately, he had been more interested in business, then he had ever been. It's not like I don't want him to be. I want him to be normal. To be the same brother, he has always been. To marry a beautiful girl and have a sweet family. I wish for him to be the happiest person. But then again, it feels impossible. He never thinks straight. He was 16 when he was detected to have a phsycological disorder. I won't ever want him to be called a sociopath. He had sacrificed a lot for me. But that only can't allow him to go around hurting others. I know what type of man he is. He derives satisfaction from other's pain. He needed treatment, but after even trying a lot, he never agreed. Spent 10 years in Belgium. With an excuse that he wanted to be away from responsibilities and from me too... but I know what he has been doing. He just needed to go away from those, who would stop him. And I know he's wise enough to know that I know everything. But he's extra wise enough to know that I'll never let him be hurt. And maybe that's why... I sighed. It just terrifies me... what if he has something worst up his sleeve, this time?
Spotting me, his smile extended. He walked towards me and engulfed me in a tight hug.
"You've grown up so fine, bud."
But my expression was neutral. I knew better than anyone, what a horrible person was behind that sweet mask.
"It better not be another agenda of yours."
His smile extended. "It isn't, man. Relax."
Gulping the lump in my throat, I gave him a weak smile before walking towards jay with him.

It was a hectic day. So, the ceremony was to celebrate the return of my brother as well as the inauguration of his first project. He was gonna build up hotel chains after Saoirse's name. It was his dream since our childhood. But in the end, it wasn't normal for him to come back and start working his ass out just because he realized he had a dream and a long life ahead, like he said. Every second was like an eternity spent in hell. He was a tickling time bomb. He had came back. And that too had survived a year without making any trouble. It scares me even more.
He could be planning anything.
Something that might even destroy everything.
I have always feared the worst.
