Postscript
Hi, I'm the author of this book, and I hope you liked it. I lived in Alaska as a newspaper reporter and fell in love with the state and its people. I hope I've captured them accurately! I have taken some liberties with the businesses of Talkeetna, but many of the places exist. Most certainly Denali is there, will always be there. And yes, theoretically, Kitka could beat a plane — an old slow plane — into town. But I wouldn't recommend you try it!
