Chapter 2: Curiosity

Adams's curiosity got the better of him, so he pulled the woman in the sweatshirt around forcefully.

"The hells your problem!" the woman said standing her ground.

Feeling annoyed by Adams's grip on her arm, she whips her head around towards him.

Adam looks at her face noticing her swollen eyes that show she's been crying for a while.

Even though she wanted to retaliate, the moment, she looks into Adams's frim gaze her words just refuse to come out.

"Why are you -" A random car horn honks interrupting and distracted him for a second.

The woman in the sweatshirt snaps back to reality the moment she heard the horn and pulls her arm away from Adams's grip.

Adam felt the woman's arm slip out of his grip and watch her running off into the crowd without looking back.

That's when Adams drivers arrived parking right next to him.

The driver gets out of the car and opens the door for Adam.

Waiting for a few seconds the driver notices his boss was distracted by the crowd in front of him, so he looks in that same direction and saw nothing interesting happening.

" Sir?" the driver said confuse by whatever's going on with his employer.
