MELISSA By mid-morning, Nicho and I drove to Rafael’s house, and then Rafael drove all of us to Chloe’s house. Rafael spoke up when we finally pulled up in front of Chloe’s house. “I don’t think she’s home.” He said, looking out the window. “Her car is not in the driveway.” “Good,” Nicho said. The three of us climbed out of the car and approached the house. Rafael was the first to try the door, but it was locked. For a moment, I thought we were going to have to leave, but then Rafael found a key under the flower pot. “She still hasn’t changed.” He chimed.
