Chapter 20It’d been a few weeks since the guys had gone out to dinner. They’d met up a few times since then, and Jase and Garrett had hooked up to polish the songs they’d started and to write some new ones. Tonight they were all congregating at Kiefer’s for their first official rehearsal.
Jase’s body quivered. He couldn’t tell if the reaction was from nerves or excitement.
Ready to head out, the ringing of his phone echoed from the great room and caused him to make a detour. Shaun’s goofy face popped up on the screen.
“Hey, man. What’s up? You couldn’t wait ten minutes?”
