Chapter 30Jase stood and held out his hand to help Garrett. Before letting him go, Jase leaned in and brushed a teasing kiss across Garrett’s mouth. Jase pulled back, and Garrett tried to follow. Jase wasn’t surprised. He was ready for more too. Just not right there in the hall. Damn. He couldn’t resist. He leaned back in and gave Garrett a quick peck, then he used all his willpower to take a step back out of Garrett’s reach.
A slight frown appeared on Garrett’s face, and Jase needed to kiss it. Instead, he fought himself to stand his ground. He’d have it soon enough if he could hold on to his patience.
Instead of leaning back in, Jase held out his hand. “Come with me.”
