Melissa's POV:
One minute I was in her office talking and eating much to my thoughts it was not a normal talk we were discussing about what is wrong with that dress I kinda Like attracted towards her her words her expression her care for me all in at once making me crazy but she must have been this good to everyone in her company this lone thought made me jealous, I don't know why bu it seems like I want to keep that care that smile just for me but it seems out of reach, she seems fearless but all of my thoughts broke other minute when she told me to get out of her office, her tone was dangerous at that moment
One phone call and a visit change her completely in just few minutes. I thought that she hate this person but how can someone as sweet and playful as she is can hate One's family but the way Lora her elder sister was talking and eyeing her and me it is filling negative energy in the atmosphere but the way they two were behaving was confusing and i notice a glimpse of terror or fear in Rebekah's eyes.
I was walking to my cubical when someone from behind calls my name I turned to watch it was Mia
"hey Melissa " she seems frightened and concerned "did something happen in the office have you said anything that you should not have.??" before answering I asked her "Why" she tells me "Ma'am calls you in the conference hall she seem quite upset. Go straight to the hall and if she say anything to you listen to her and don't argue her Understand???" I node my head and she hurries towards her cubical after signalling me to go towards the conference hall I was afraid what of what will be going to happen there but I keep walking til I reach the conference hall upon entering I saw Rebekah sitting in the closest chair to the board and the projector screen beside her there standing a girl about the same age and height as me she was discussing something with her and everyone seems tens in their
I was afraid but walked confidently to her "ma'am you were asking for me??" she didn't even turn her gaze to me from the file she was discussing about with the girl I keep standing there till she ends her discussion and signaled that girl to go to the seat reserved for her before I can say anything there enter a muscular handsome man in the conference hall a little older then Rebekah he was flashing a professional smile following him then enters a guy with a nerdy look and a laptop in his hand the guy entered first come to Rebekah and talks her in a less formal way "What's going here Rebekah" she asks him to sit and gesture me to go to the in front of the projector screen. And stand beside me while the girl who was talking t Rebekah a little before was now walked to the nerdy and the handsome guy and telling them something the nerdy guy nods constantly while the handsome guy was observing Rebekah's expression concernedly
in the mean time Mia enter the hall and Rebekah tel her to dim the lights of the conference hall and she started to speak.
"She is Melissa many of you must have known her already She is a junior designer I had a co incidence of discussing article 108 (the main event's dress) she suggest me something about the dress I am sure that her idea will work but I like all of you to hear what she suggested and Mark you tell your boy to do as Alice have told you". so his name was Mark he nods and look towards the nerdy boy. She gestured me to come forward I was nervous and it must have shown to my face so She tells me "Be easy don't be nervous just tell them what is wrong with the dress as you told me" I replied not looking straight to her eyes "I..I can't you already knows what I have told you... you can tell them why you want me to tell them instead" She was a little frustrated but she calmly answer "You can just don't be nervous and I can tell them but I don't steal anyone's spotlight this is your idea you should have told it to everyone so hurry up everyone has to work after". with these words she give me an assuring tap on my shoulders her touch make me shiver but encourages me some how so I start to describe it to everyone.
For a time everyone including Rebekah listen to me carefully and take notes of things what I say while Mark's gaze was shifting from Me to Rebekah and to the nerdy guy who was constantly working to on his Laptop.
After I done explaining Rebekah come stands besides me "Hope all of you got the idea what we ave been missing Mark will provide you the actual design's print in half an hour and start working on it accordingly from the sketch I have discussed the budget already we can recreate the dress without having any financial issue so start the work right away If any problem arise discuss it to Clair (the girl discussing things with Rebekah before) and Clair you will be reporting to Mia and I need a proper daily progress report Mia You all can leave now" after that she started to discuss things with Mia and Clair again and all of them packs there stuff and started to leave when Mark comes to me "hey I am Mark head of IT department you are the junior so you must have not know me" he has a sweet smile on his face and was very professional and gentle he continues "Good work there You have got talent in there but you have to be a little more confidence about yourself.... " he was cut of by Rebekah "She was confident when discussing it with me what happens in here ??" her tone was questioning before I can say anything Mark answered "You must have appreciates her and yet trying to scold her, she looks terrified just by looking at you and You don't seem to be in good mood either so care to talk" they seem pretty close and I like it how he was asking her the reason of her bad mood while she replied "nothing's wrong .. just a little stressed and tired and for appreciating part I already have done it Don't I" her gaze shifted towards me with the questioning look demanding an answer "Yes you have done far more than appreciation and I am Thankful For that To you" "You can go back to your cubical and take an active part in this designing session as it was your idea Mia will guide you in your work and It is a pleasure having you in our office " these word make my day for today and now I will work more harder.
