Rebekah was not looking as happy as before but she also not wearing that terrified look that she had on her when Lora was with us Mark seems to be close to Rebekah because i can tell by his concerned look that she cares about her. We were talking when Mia come to us mobile in one hand someone was on the call she tell something to Rebekah and she excuses us and goes to a corner to talk whoever on the call. Mark inquire Mia about what happened before. "Mia what's with her mood something happens before the conference" she replied "I don't know she was okay when I leave for the lunch break a little stressed but not like she is right now" she than pointed towards me and further said "I sent Melissa into the office to give her lunch maybe this upsets her" I was listening to their conversation thinking that I should or should not talk about Lora when Mark turned towards me with questioning eyes "You seem quite sweet you can't upset her and she likes your Idea about the design so she is not angry because of you or you will not be standing here so what happen in the Office" I wanted to not to tell him "I..... I don't know why she is upset She was okay before .."Mark cut me in mid sentence " I know you are new here and don't know me so you don't want to tell me but believe me Rebekah is just like a younger sister for me and if something is bothering her I want to know what so please if you know please tell me" I hesitated first but then I sighed and when I look in Mia's direction she node me to tell "Melissa its okay you can tell Mark he is like Family to Ma'am" So i decide to tell him "She was okay first she don't want to eat and was asking for coffee then agreed to eat and ask me to eat with her she seems cheerful when I suggested her about the dress and she seems relieved but then someone come to the office and her expression changes she seems furious..... " he asked Mia "Who came " Mia replied "Lora ...." His expression hardened " and how many time do I have to tell you that whenever she visits tell me first.... Did she do or say anything to Rebekah???? Do you know why is she here ???" I replied hesitantly I don't know why she is here because Rebekah tell me to get out of her office but yes Lora she ...." I hesitated "she what Melissa" Mark ask with concern "she was talking politely but something with her seems off as if she wants to molest Rebekah even I didn't like her when she refer me as a toy and offer me a job to her business ....Rebekah looks furious but she was afraid of her " I tell him and now happy Mark seems furious too what's with that girl she seems to be a trouble maker. Rebekah ended the call and no walking towards us "People we have work to do why are you guys still here talking .... today's praises are over now walk to your places and start working Mia and Melissa and Mia fix my meeting with James tomorrow he has something to offer and Mark I need that design ASAP" Mia nod while taking the phone from Rebekah and I was about to move when Mark talk "That b***h shows up again" Rebekah gives him a confuse gaze then her eyes moves towards me and she realizes "She was here for work and stop being angry and watch your language" pointing towards me she said "you should have keep it to you only ... " Mark cuts her "She didn't tell me I asked her and I need to talk to you right now and stop being furious at Melissa she is neither the reason of your anger nor the punching bag which you can use to release your anger and I wanna talk right now office or cafe your choice" his tone has authority and I saw Rebekah's fear fading when she said "I was not using her I was just saying.... otherwise no need to worry he was here just for work and we have work right now Melissa why are you still standing here go start working" I nod and started towards my cubical when mark stopped me in between " Rebekah in your office right now and Melissa can you please tell Mia not to let anyone in the office till I say and bring two coffees in the office" Rebekah sigh "Okay we'll talk in office and Melissa tell Mia to bring coffee and you can go back to your work" I nodded again and again I was about to leave when crying Mia approaches us she was sobbing horribly Rebekah turned towards her fully attentive and concerned "What happened" Rebekah grab a seat and gesture Mia to sit while indicate me to bring some water I grabbed the sealed water bottle from the table and held it towards Mia but instead of Mia Rebekah grabbed it and held it closer to Mia's mouth "Relax drink it and tell what is wrong stop crying Mia .." Mia started "My ..My daughter She ....." sob escaped from her lips "What happened to her is she okay?? " Rebekah seemed tense and she saw mark with confused and worried eyes as if she is asking his help Mark step in "Mia Stop crying tell us what happened so we can help you Is something wrong with your daughter" Mia started to talk again " My daughter ...she.... is in hospital ...... very crrii critical ...condition had an accident before a car hit her ..... I .... I"I" Rebekah completed the sentence "Stop wasting time in crying Mia you should be in the hospital right now go there" then she fetch mobile from her pocket and call someone .. In a minute a man in black dress comes running to her she ordered him "Ethan take her to the hospital in my car stay there inquire what is wrong with her daughter and make sure she gets the best treatment Mia go ...with him need anything ask him" Ethan nodded then say "I call you the other car" "No need you just take care of her daughter I'll call the car myself just go" he grabbed Mia and they both started towards the lift " We were standing there watching them leave while Rebekah's phone ring again she look at the screen and her expression tightened but she pick up the call "He... Hello ...Yes ..... I can't .....am working ...busy with the fashion week ..... I can't ..... I am not making any excuse ....... Okay i will try ..... you can't force me Okay I'll come...... yeah ... yeah ...Okay " and with this she hang up turn towards concerned Mark "It was Father and this is Trouble" she tell him then gesture him to move towards office and tell me "can you bring the coffee now and tell Clair to take the front desk "This is hell of a problematic day .....I need a strong coffee".
There is something about Rebekah's family she was afraid of them no matter how strong she appears in office and before the world as I have heard how she reacts if someone wrongs her but this strong girl is afraid of her family and this is surprising for me while she is very good with people we can not say she is not a people person but yet she seems frightened and nervous when talking to her family.
So one minute before everything was fine and the other second everyone is seemed to be in problem ..... Life is a bumpy ride ....
