Aiden turned around to scan the rest of the kitchen before his eyes widened slightly. “Can’t believe Caleb’s out of his lab,” he murmured before gesturing toward the man sitting at a table all alone. “Come meet my cousin,” he said to Serena.
“Is he the one who lives in the mansion with you?” Serena asked as she followed Aiden across the room.
He chuckled. “Lives is a relative term when it comes to Caleb. He mostly just crashes here in between bouts of periods spent cooped up in his lab downtown.”
Serena’s eyes widened as she followed Aiden. She wondered what kind of research Caleb did in his lab.
They reached the curly-haired man, but he ignored them. How he could be oblivious to two werewolves surrounding him was a mystery, but he was somehow doing it.
Aiden kicked the foot of the table to get his attention. He jerked in response before glancing up at the alpha and Serena got her first good look at him.
Serena took an involuntary step back and her wolf Sasha stood at attention. They’d never seen another person – human, werewolf or other supernatural creature so breathtakingly gorgeous before.
Caleb’s pale skin was flawless in a way that almost looked unnatural. It was evident he was not like other wolves and preferred to spend his time indoors rather than outdoors like other werewolves. His eyes were a pale blue similar to Aiden and Alaric’s. And he had their trademark ash blonde hair. Serena could see the resemblance between the three of them.
