Episode 1 - THE FIRST SHADOW
Rain pounded the city streets, turning every puddle into a dark mirror of neon lights. Avelyn Rhea revved her motorcycle through the storm, narrowly avoiding a sleek black car that appeared out of nowhere. Her pulse raced—not just from the near collision, but from the intense gaze she felt through the tinted windows.
Her phone buzzed. A message from an unknown sender:
"Trust no one tonight. Meet me at Arundel Alley, 9 PM. – L.V.V."
Her stomach twisted. L.V.V.… Lois Vinzo Vale. The name had haunted whispers in the city—powerful, dangerous, untouchable. And yet, something about it stirred curiosity and fear at once.
With a deep breath, Avelyn steered into the alley. Rain soaked through her jacket, cold against her toned skin, but she barely noticed. Every instinct screamed to turn back—but curiosity edged fear aside.
Under a dim streetlight, he stood. Tall, lean, impeccably dressed, every movement deliberate. His presence alone demanded attention—a dangerous mix of power, control, and something… intoxicating.
“You’re Avelyn Rhea?” His voice was low, deliberate, cold.
She nodded, heart hammering. “Who… who exactly are you?”
A faint, controlled smile curved his lips. Cold, unreadable, yet undeniably magnetic. “Lois Vinzo Vale. Tonight, your life changes. Every choice, every step… will matter.”
Her pulse spiked—not just from his words, but the way his eyes lingered a fraction too long, studying her like she was both a threat and a fascination. His aura radiated control and danger, but… desire? Avelyn didn’t want to admit it, yet her body reacted anyway.
“You always get this reaction?” she asked, forcing her voice steady.
“Only from those who interest me,” he said simply. The words sent a thrill up her spine, an intoxicating mix of fear and forbidden attraction.
The alley felt smaller, the rain heavier, yet electrified by their proximity. Every sense was alert—danger, curiosity, and desire mingled together in a tense, dangerous harmony.
Tonight, the game began. And Avelyn knew one thing for certain: she was already in too deep.
