I watched the phone ring the first time, and I didn’t want to pick it up at first, but I knew I had to. Either that or she would keep calling, and I didn’t want the twins to interfere.
Was it weird that I didn’t want them to know about her? I mean my Mother.
I felt like she was the reason I was lying here in the first place with so much anguish and pain in my heart. It was her past that was catching up with me.
