Whip

Silvia Davis POV "Lie down, my dear Omega," Victoria commanded, and pain throbbed in my head as I glanced at the table. The thought of lying down scared me even more than it already did. "Can't you hear me? Or are you ignoring me, huh?" Victoria shot me a bitchy look, gritting her teeth. I felt frozen in place, my legs glued to the spot where I stood. All I wanted was to remain here indefinitely. This dreadful stillness seemed preferable to being trapped and subjected to a beating. Reluctantly, I stepped forward and lay down on my stomach on the table. My legs dangled loosely, allowing the blood to rush into my feet, turning them cold. "Tomorrow is the Year Ball for our pack, and you're driving me crazy," Victoria complained as she grabbed the whip and brought it close to my body. How could she whip me like this? She was the one who had dragged me here and was now preparing to beat me. Whack! Whack!!! I bit my lower lip to stifle any sound as the whip lashed against my skin, tearing through my ragged clothes. The silver burned and tore my flesh apart, causing blood to seep from my wounds and stick to the whip. The lashes landed relentlessly on my back and ass simultaneously. "Whack!! You dare to mess with me, you b***h! Whack!" A few more lashes struck my neck, making me clench my teeth even harder. My lower lip started to bleed from the pressure. "Don't make a sound, or else I'll increase the punishment," she threatened. I tried to suppress my voice, feeling utterly useless. Even in this excruciating pain, I couldn't utter a sound or scream. What kind of life was I living that drained everything out of me? I lost count of how many lashes I received, but she finally threw the whip and left, leaving me battered and bruised in this wretched room. My body throbbed with pain, and my injuries bled as if they were unwelcome guests. "s**t!" I hissed in pain as I sat up. My entire body felt like it was on fire. I needed to wash away the silver that had burned my skin to avoid further harm to my injuries. It seemed that new wounds had already joined the ones I acquired yesterday. Although I was no stranger to beatings, the addition of silver was a new and incredibly agonising experience. Perhaps Victoria's presence was turning me into a sadist. "I want to go for a run," my wolf lazily growled. I felt a surge of anger towards my wolf. How dare she? She did nothing when I was being beaten. "Now she wants to go for a run?" No way, I said, tears starting to flow from my eyes. I had my wolf, who couldn't care less about me. I wouldn't do anything she wanted anymore. "Get lost! I'm not going anywhere," I growled. "Why should I listen to you? We're going for a run, no matter how much you deny it," my wolf arrogantly replied, leaving me sighing in anger. I knew she would never listen to me, even after subjecting me to such torture. She never used her powers to heal herself. I deserved to be treated like a human. Sometimes I felt like I wasn't even a wolf. "Let's go!" my wolf said, and my clothes ripped as I transformed into my wolf form. Without wasting any time, I leaped through the room's window, feeling the fresh air brush against my fur. I must say, it felt incredible to run through the forest, as if I were the only living being in the entire world. I knew it was a white lie, but it was better than facing the harsh reality. My eyes caught sight of a hot spring, looking so inviting, as though it held everything I desired. I immediately entered it in my wolf form, intending to connect with my wolf. "You've already had a good run. I need to bathe. Silver is not good for either of us." I tried to communicate with my wolf. "Whatever," she replied, and my body transformed back into the wolf form. Feeling relieved that no one was around, I sighed and sank into the pleasantly warm water, soothing my injuries. I couldn't let anyone see me completely naked with my wounds. If only life could always be like this. That would be great. Hush!!!! "Who?" I immediately cowered in the water upon hearing a random sound in the forest. No one should be here, but who knew what was happening? I scanned my surroundings, searching for the source of the sound. Then I noticed a pair of captivating blue eyes gazing at me, filled with intensity. I was shocked and frightened because I had never seen such eyes in this pack before. He growled loudly, scaring the living daylights out of me. Without hesitation, I transformed into my wolf form and bolted away, desperate to save my life. I couldn't describe what was happening, but one thing was certain—I was terrified to the core. Without wasting a moment, I rushed back to my cabin, assuming my human form once again. I hid under the bed, pondering over what had just occurred. Who knows? It could have been a rogue as well. I couldn't help but hope that my thoughts were wrong. The presence of a rogue was never a good sign. Although I didn't care much about this damn pack, my concern lied with my mother and Rihanna. I certainly didn't want a fight to erupt and harm any of them. It was simply my instinct to protect my loved ones. Even if anyone discovered that as an Omega, I had taken a run in the woods, I would face severe punishment. It was best to ignore this unsettling encounter for now. It was true. Who was I to offer help when I couldn't even help myself? It seemed foolish to believe that I could protect anyone else.
