Chapter FifteenJean crept up toward Rico as he waited for the person outside the door to answer. He signaled to her to stay back and lie on the floor with a wave of his free hand then an index finger pointing down. Then a voice from outside said, “Paul, is that you? It's me, Hank.” This could be a ruse, but Rico doubted it. He relaxed.
