“Thank God, I didn’t expect for you to be free at his time. I thought you got class this morning” Andrew said it as he taking out his laptop from his bag.

“Yeah, I also didn’t expect the class to be cancelled suddenly. Gosh, I really hope Ms. Jane can inform us beforehand” Maria setting down her bag on the table before she sits at the chair the opposite of Andrew. Student lounge that morning is a little bit quiet. There’s only both of them and another three students that are looking busy with their phone. As she sees Andrew setting up his laptop, she also does the same. She thinks she might as well working on the new assignment she got the other day.

“Well, on the bright side, you get a day off today. Its not like Ms. Jane will make replacement class. Plus, you get to hang out with me this morning. What a blessing, right?” Andrew said it while smiling. His eyes are focused on the laptop screen, as his fingers are busy typing the essay that was supposed to be submitted last night.

“Nah, I rather dreaming on my bed right now instead of having to accompany you doing your assignment early this morning” her mouth throwing all of that s**t even though the truth is she was jumping, happy as she gets to spend time alone with Andrew, without Orwin interrupting her time.

“Cruel. You need to understand that I, Andrew Handerson was busy handling my friends problem. I’m a full time student and a part time counselor of lover” he looks at Maria for a seconds before focusing on his works again. “You know right, how complicated is Brian and Josh relationship’s right now. If I didn’t get in between them, both of them will fall deeper into their problem.”

“Josh from the Art class? I knew he is… gay? But I never thought Brian also involved with him. Spill the tea, please. I’m not asking, I’m telling you to tell me. The price for asking me to stay with you” Maria closing her laptop again. Andrew’s story is more interesting than her assignment.

“Haih. So, basically, Josh falls in love with Brian. Josh confesses to him when Brian hanging out at his place. Brian confused as hell, but he still being nice to Josh, so he didn’t give his reply to him, because you know... he’s straight. But eventually, they make out that night. Getting spicy, right?” Maria nods. Andrew then continues his story. “So, after that they’ve been making out… like… every weeks? The problem is that, Brian still thought that he is straight. Doesn’t make sense, right? How are you even still straight after having s*x with another man for 8 weeks straight? God, he is insane. Josh have been trying to confess again and again to Brian since he thought he finally get a chance to be with Brian. But… Brian still tries to reject him. You know, his family is religious so being gay is absolutely a no-no. So, right now, Brian is conflicted because he is still in denial of his sexuality because if he accepts himself as a gay, it will be a big trouble if his family knew about it. I still try to think either to convince Josh that he can’t be with Brian or convince Brian that he should just follow his heart” Andrew ending the story while closing his laptop.

“Damn, that’s tough” Maria said before she continues munching on her cookie that she pulls out of the bag before. “Normal love is already hard to handle. I wonder what difficulty level did he need to go through. Extreme? Impossible?”

“I am more concerned on Josh. He is still waiting for Brian’s reply. But that what he needs to go through though. As a friend, I need to help them as much as I can” Andrew start taking out his phone, scrolling through i********:.

“I never thought you are friend with Josh. I guess you’re more open minded than how you look” Maria handing over a packet of cookie to Andrew.

“What, do I look that much of homophobic?” Andrew asked. Maria giving him ‘you think?’ expression. “But yeah, I hope my love life will be much smoother than them. I wonder what kind of girl will be mine, lol” Andrew chuckling a little bit.

“Heh, there is no such thing as peace when you fall in love. When you fall in love, your days will be hectic as hell. You will not stop thinking about your partner that will lead to overthinking. In the end, you fight over small thing and you two will recovered again and the cycle will start again” Maria said without looking at Andrew. Andrew a little bit taken aback when Maria suddenly becoming a machine gun spouting all s**t that obviously show that she’s against the idea of falling in love.

“Wow, who hurts you?” Andrew asking while refraining himself from laughing.

“Oh, shut up. I’m just saying truth.”

“Quite ironic when someone that never falling in love against falling in love so much. Don’t you seriously want to feel how to be in relationship?” Andrew asking again.

“Nah, never want to. Never plan to”

“Then, how about we start going out together? Maybe then you will how it be to be in one” Andrew looking straight at Maria. Maria flustered by the thing that Andrew spouts.

“Wha… what nonsense are you on to now. Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. Wha… what?” Maria start stuttering a lot. Andrew then begins to laugh. He can’t refrain himself to not laugh anymore.

“I’m sorry I’m sorry. Just joking lol. Of course you don’t want to be in one lol” Andrew laughing non stop while Maria hitting him using a book. She is so suprisedby Andrew’s sudden nonsense. But, she kind of happy. Andrew thinking about he and her going out? She’s feeling like her heart will bursting anytime soon. She then immediately stop hitting Andrew and looking straight to Andrew’s face.

“You’re not gay, right?”

“Absolutely no.”
