~KILLIAN I felt defeated. The walk down the mountain was long as I forced my horse to follow my slow pace. The skies above me darkened and when I heard thunder clasp above us, I knew immediately that it was going to rain. It was as if even the heavens were mocking me for they gave way within seconds and the rain poured down on me. I found myself in a foreign land with nowhere to go.
