LIFE HUNTER CHAPTER 6: THE EIGHT FIRE TRIALS

At the Tower GatesKaijen, Haru, and Sora stood before the massive black stone gates of the Obsidian Spire. Hidden between the mountains, the tower blazed with red glow, like hell's mouth opened wide. Fire scent filled the cold air. Sora unfolded her map with trembling hands. "The first eight floors are the fire realm. Lava rivers, flame traps, fire monsters. Ryu built them himself. One mistake... and you're ash."Kaijen's sky blue eyes flashed. His long blue hair waved in the wind. "42 floors left. We're balance guardians. Ryu's end comes." Haru clenched his fist. "My plasma will douse the flames!" Sora took a deep breath. "My blood will clear the path. But... I'm scared."Kaijen patted their shoulders. "We're together." He placed his hand on the gate. Blue glow spread. The door roared open. Hot lava wind hit.Floor 1 entered.

Floor 1: Lava Labyrinth:

Endless red-glowing walls everywhere. Lava rivers flowed, paths changed every second. Floor burned hot, shoes melting. "This maze lives!" Sora shouted. A wall shifted, lava river blocked their path. Turn back—path gone."Time slow!" Kaijen spread his hands. World slowed. Lava streams froze mid-air. Droplets solidified. Haru formed plasma orbs—blue hot spheres hit lava walls, instantly turning stone. "My plasma cools fire!"Sora sliced her palm. Blood drops became arrows in air. Flame webs sliced. But a lava orb launched at Sora. "Sora!" Kaijen TIME STOPPED. Orb stuck mid-air. He grabbed it, threw reverse. Boom! Wall shattered. Path clear.30 minutes of deadly fight. Sweat poured. "First cleared!" Haru high-fived. Stairs up.

Floor 2: Flame Walls:

Liquid fire walls contracting here—to crush the team. Heat unbearable. Clothes singed. "These walls breathe!" Haru yelled. Walls closing fast.Haru created wind storm. Fire walls pushed back. Kaijen reversed time—walls returned to expanded state. But one wall grazed Sora. She screamed, hand burned. "Sora!" Kaijen reversed—burn gone. Sora's blood absorbed fire, formed shield.All three ran. Walls chased. Final turn—massive collapse. Haru water shield. Cleared. "Second too!" But hands-feet burned.

Floor 3: Fire Wolves:

Dark cave. Suddenly five flame wolves roared—red eyes, fiery claws, lava teeth. Largest wolf pounced on Kaijen. Claw sliced air. "Time stop!" Kaijen froze world. Wolves stuck mid-air. He advanced, blue punch to chest. Time on—wolf exploded, lava scattered.Haru's plasma orbs incinerated two. Sora's blood spears pierced third. But fourth about to bite Haru. "Haru!" Sora threw blood vine, wolf bound. Kaijen time-slowed last one, finished. Dust. "Third cleared. Getting easy," Haru laughed. But wounds remained.

Floor 4: Lava Orbs:

Massive lava orbs bouncing from floor. Explosion on every hit. Orbs unpredictable. Kaijen created time loop—orbs repeated paths. Pattern found. "Weak spot left!" Haru made ice arrows (water+air), shattered orbs. Sora pierced with blood.One orb about to hit Kaijen—he time-reversed it back. Boom! Cleared. Fatigue rising.

Floor 5: Flame Vines:

Flames sprouting from floor, ceiling, walls—everywhere. Like a web. Sora formed blood swords, sliced dozens vines. Haru's storm fanned flames away. Kaijen kept time slow.But one vine about to grab Sora's leg. "No!" Kaijen reversed—vine retracted into cave. Another vine toward Haru's face. Sora blood shield. All saved. "Teamwork best!" Cleared.

Floor 6: Fire Elemental:

10-foot fire warrior appeared. Three elements—fire, heat, smoke. Smoke blurred vision. "Eyes closed!" Kaijen said. Haru's plasma countered fire. Sora's blood absorbed smoke. Warrior swung lava sword. Kaijen time-dodged.Haru lightning chain. Sora blood spears. Kaijen time-punch to chest. Warrior roared, collapsed. Lava pool formed. "Sixth!"

Floor 7: Hell Furnace:

Temperature 1200°C. Air burning. Breathing hard. Haru massive water shield. Kaijen cooled atoms with time. Sora's blood cooling fans. Sweat vaporizing but they pushed. Door appeared. Cleared.

Floor 8: Fire King:

Finally, colossal FIRE GOLEM—30 feet tall, lava fists, coal eyes. Roared: "Die in Ryu's name!" Ground shook. Red Oath trap activated—team's blood pulled. Limbs heavy. Weakness. "This trap!" Sora screamed."Time STOP!" Kaijen's shout. World completely frozen. Golem's massive fist stuck mid-air. Haru eyes closed, focused. Giant plasma orb formed from hands—like a sun. Kaijen pointed to golem's core (heart). Haru thrust it in.Sora endured pain, poured all strength into blood. Dozens blood spears formed—red arrow rain. All spears on core. Kaijen resumed time.BOOM! Golem's chest exploded. Lava sprayed. But golem didn't stop—regenerating. "Red Oath!" Kaijen realized. Used time vision—saw past. Oath weak point: red crystal in neck."Haru, Sora—neck!" All three full power. Haru's plasma beam, Sora's blood drills, Kaijen's time-enhanced punch. Crystal shattered. Golem screamed. Body burst. Lava river flowed. Three collapsed, gasping. Victory!Suddenly Ryu's terrifying laugh echoed through tower: "Eight floors cleared? Impressive. But 42 remain. Each deadlier. Red Oath will drink your blood. Water-wind death comes next. Come Lifehunter... if you dare!"Kaijen slowly stood. Blue hair glowing. "Just the beginning. To Floor 9." Haru-Sora exchanged looks, smiled. Wounds, fatigue, but fire trials conquered. Stairs above gleamed.
