Haven's Omega

Chapter 5

Princess Nora sighed and sat next to Haven, "Then what about your needs? Do you want to sleep with me?".

Haven was shocked and immediately turned to Princess Nora, "Huh? What are you saying? Are you crazy? Sleeping with an alpha who is in a rut is scary, like an animal. You will get hurt".

"Then find another woman or omega, don't torture yourself like this," said Princess Nora who threw Haven's cell phone into his lap.

Haven put his phone on the bed and said "My rut will go away on its own after I take some suppressants so you better get home before I start going crazy again".

Princess Nora sighed and walked to Haven's bedroom door and locked it, "Sleep with me, but only this time. You also don't have to worry because I can't get pregnant so you don't have to be careful".

Haven looked at Princess Nora and his calm gaze gradually changed which made Princess Nora shudder in fear because it was the first time she had seen Haven in such a state. Haven said quietly, "I'm sorry".

Princess Nora walked slowly to get into the car, Haven held her waist and helped her walk slowly. Haven felt guilty and said quietly to Princess Nora, "I'm sorry, I'll see you tomorrow. Erm, if there's anything you need, you can call me."

Princess Nora just smiled a little holding back the pain in her body and said, "If I need anything, aren't there many palace servants who can help me? You don't have to worry and just focus on your condition, I should be the one apologizing for not being able to help you much".

Haven opened the car door for Princess Nora and sighed then said "I'm sorry, take care of yourself".

Princess Nora nodded and the car door closed. Haven just stared at the car that was getting further away and mumbled, "As expected, omega does give me a hard time".

Haven turned back into the house and was followed by Toby who had been behind him. Toby knows what it's like when alphas are on a rut but there are no omegas to accompany them. Toby also knows the reason Haven used to always sleep with women often is that Haven, who is alpha dominant, has to sleep with women regularly so that when it's time for a rut, the rut won't be as crazy as it is now. Toby said quietly to Haven, "Young master, do I need to find someone for you?".

Haven turned to Toby and said "No need, I'm just going to sleep. Set my schedule for a few days."

Toby nodded and stood at the door after Haven entered the house. Toby remembers that there is an omega in young master Raven's bodyguard team and along with Haven's rut, that omega is also on leave due to the heat. Toby thinks it's possible that Haven accidentally met the omega and sensed the pheromone so Haven went into a rut too. Toby sighed and without realizing it he had muttered, "Instinct can't be fooled, I wouldn't be surprised if one day they become partners".

Haven returned to his room and immediately opened the balcony door of his room, seeing the beautiful and dazzling sunset that spread the remnants of the day's warmth. Haven sighed and wished that he was born as a human so he wouldn't have to feel taken over by pheromones. Haven feels very sorry for Princess Nora because even though they have slept together, Haven's feelings are still the same and nothing has changed. Plus the fact that Haven had hurt Princess Nora by sleeping with her so uncontrollably but Haven's rut was still the same. Haven in the end still has to use a high dose of suppressant, otherwise, Princess Nora might not only have difficulty walking but Princess Nora might end up in the hospital.

Haven is still worried about Princess Nora's condition and sends her a message asking her how she is. After that, Haven just pensively stared at the sunset. Haven thinks that whether his choice has been right, whether he did something wrong, how long he has to lie and many more thoughts that make him dizzy.

Haven saw Arzoo walking into the house followed by a bodyguard. Haven greeted Arzoo, "Arzoo, I heard you live here now? We can see each other more often from now on".

Arzoo turned and smiled at Haven, "Brother, are you here? Since I've been here, I haven't seen you".

Haven embraced Arzoo and said, "I live in my own condominium which is closer to the office. But if you want me to come home often then I'd be happy to come home, hehe".

Arzoo laughed, "Brother, your playboy side hasn't gone away yet. I'm sorry that when you got engaged I couldn't come".

Haven patted Arzoo's shoulder which he gently embraced and said, "Relax, I know you are lazy to meet Raven but I don't think that in a matter of months since you two met again, you two have become a couple but I'm happy for you too. You guys get along and I apologize for Raven's mistake on you before".

Arzoo lowered his head and said "Because it's hard to fight fate, isn't it? However, I ran and rejected it if it was fate then we would meet and it would be difficult for our hearts to move on. Everything that happened before is in the past so you don't need to talk about it anymore, brother".

Haven nodded and said softly "You are right, everything you said is true. You have grown up, Arzoo".

Arzoo nodded and put his arm around Haven's hand, "I've heard about Princess Nora, next time let me meet her".

Haven agreed, "Okay, what's not for you".

Haven glanced at Rick and said to Arzoo in a whisper, "Is he the bodyguard that Raven gave you? He's tiny for a bodyguard, can he really protect you?".

Arzoo smiled and said quietly, "Ah, Rick is very good at martial arts so you don't have to worry. He takes good care of me and his personality matches mine so it's easier for us to understand each other".

Haven nodded, "Okay, I'm also sure that Raven can't be playing with your safety by giving you a weak bodyguard".

After that, every time Haven met Rick, Haven would talk to him about a thing or two, especially about Arzoo. Haven always considers Arzoo as his own brother and he is the one who often communicates with Arzoo when Raven thinks Arzoo has disappeared. Haven was able to meet Arzoo again as well because he was often with Uncle Tor to study business so that when Uncle Tor met Arzoo, Haven could also meet.

Haven drives his car alone after dropping Princess Nora back at the palace. Since tomorrow there will be a small party to welcome Arzoo. So Haven went straight home tonight to his family.

It was getting dark and dinner time had passed, Haven felt a little hungry because when he ate dinner with Princess Nora before he only ate a little. Haven remembers that in the area leading to his house there is a fast-food restaurant and after imagining it, Haven wants to eat fast food that he hasn't eaten in a long time. Haven turned the wheel to a fast food restaurant to order a burger.

After the intersection, he saw the Harolds' car pulled up on the side of the road and someone was opening the car's engine. Haven recognized the license plate, the car that Arzoo used to use. Haven pulled over in front of the car and he got out of his car. Haven saw Rick who had taken off his coat and was only wearing a white shirt that was soaked with sweat. Haven glanced into the car, to see if there was Arzoo in the car.

Rick who saw Haven's car pulled over and Haven getting out of the car immediately wiped his sweat. Haven greets Rick, "Hi, there".

"Young master Haven", said Rick politely.

Haven approaches Rick and says "What's wrong with the car?".

Rick glanced at the car's engine and said, "The car broke down, it looks like there's a problem with the catalytic converter. I've contacted the repair shop but they haven't arrived yet."

Haven looked into the car's engine and nodded, "Looks like it really needs a repair shop to fix it. Where have you been out at this hour?".

Rick looked at Haven who looked into the car engine but when Haven turned to him, Rick immediately averted his eyes and said: "Young master Arzoo wanted to eat vanilla ice cream from a fast food restaurant so I went out to buy it".

Haven looked at Rick and said, "Are you already bought it?".

Rick shook his head, "Not yet, young master".

"I was planning to go to a fast-food restaurant to buy food, so when the repairman is here, you just come with me and leave the car and let the repairman take it home tomorrow," said Haven who unconsciously wiped the dirt on Rick's face.

Rick spontaneously startled and looked at Haven but Haven just smiled and said, "There's dirt".

Rick nodded and thanked, "Thank you, young master".

Before long, people from the workshop came. Haven who was leaning in the back of his car approached and said a few words to the repairman then immediately took Rick away. Rick is about to ask for Haven's car keys for him to drive but Haven refuses and says, "No need, you look tired so just let me drive".

Rick sat in the front seat uncomfortably but Haven didn't care and asked Rick, "Have you had dinner?".

Rick shook his head, "Not yet, young master".

"You eat fast food? I'm already too hungry so I want to eat at the place directly. You eat together with me, okay?", said Haven who looked at the street.

Rick didn't know what to say and in the end, he could only nod his approval.

Haven ordered food for him and Rick first. Because it was quite late, the restaurant was also quiet. Rick wants him to order but Haven gets ahead of him and tells Rick to sit down and wait for him. Rick sat waiting for Haven who was ordering food. Soon Haven walked up to him with a tray of food and drinks. Haven placed the tray on the table and motioned for Rick to start eating. Rick tried to eat quickly but Haven touched Rick's hand which was about to bring the burger to his mouth. Rick was shocked but just kept quiet and stopped moving his hands.

"Eat slowly, I told Arzoo and he said that Raven has come back with ice cream that Arzoo wants so you eat slowly, no one is rushing you", said Haven who pulled his hand and started eating his food.

Rick nodded and started to eat slowly but Rick still felt uncomfortable eating with his boss. Haven smiled at Rick's behaviour and subconsciously thought that Rick looked adorable.

After they finished eating, the two of them went straight home. Haven who was about to walk in again turned to Rick who was standing at the door with the other bodyguards on guard. Haven called out to Rick, "Rick, come here for a minute".

Haven took out his cell phone and handed it to Rick, "If I need your help or ask about Arzoo's condition. Just to make it easier".

Rick took Haven's cell phone and entered the number then handed it back to Haven, "I've put my number in, young master".

Haven nodded and said, "Okay, good night".

Rick saluted and replied, "Good night, young master".

Haven returned to his room and immediately fiddled with his cell phone looking at Rick's number. Haven mumbled, "Smells similar but I don't think so. Rick is a beta so I just mistook it".
