Chapter 0.3

After Haven left shortly, Rick woke up and Rick who was still dazed looked around. Rick who didn't see Haven felt sad and disappointed but he felt a little better when he saw the food and his neatly arranged clothes. Rick also feels his body is clean and comfortable even though he feels very tired but Rick feels better because his heat has disappeared apart from the heat injection but also because Rick had s*x with alpha so the heat quickly disappeared. Rick is about to get his cell phone and change clothes because he still must guard the hospital but Rick finds a note from Haven. Rick smiled and sat down on a chair to eat the food which was no longer warm but still good to eat. After eating, Rick didn't change his clothes and went back to bed to continue his sleep.

Rick couldn't fall asleep right away and stared at the note Haven left behind.

"Dear Rick,

I'm going back to the hospital first to check on Arzoo and Raven. You don't need to go back to the hospital, I'll tell Raven to give you a day off for today and the next few days. You just sleep first and wait for me to come back to the hotel to pick you up.

Love, Haven".

Rick reads the note over and over again, especially the word 'Love' which makes Rick feel very happy for some reason and is eagerly waiting for Haven to come to pick him up. Rick knows that he is starting to place his hopes on Haven and he becomes even more hopeful of Haven. Rick begins to feel he can no longer see Haven as just his boss. Even though Rick felt he liked Haven, previously he didn't have any hope in Haven and was ready to be ignored and dumped at any moment but now Rick was afraid that Haven would completely ignore him, no longer calling him and dumping him. Rick is afraid that if that happens then he can't get up again and will continue to fall.

Rick suddenly thought that if Haven bit him then Haven would have to be responsible and would continue to be with him but on the other hand, Rick didn't want to do it because he himself wasn't sure about his feelings for Haven. Rick wasn't sure if what he was feeling was really because he liked Haven. After all, that person was Haven or just because of the pheromones and touches he had never felt before.

Rick closed his eyes and imagined once again when he first met Haven and then when he first felt his heart stop beating for a moment because of Haven and beat fast because of Haven too. Rick begins to fall asleep and dream of his time with Haven until suddenly he dreams of meeting a white wolf cub sleeping in the snow so Rick almost steps on it because it is the same colour as the snow. The wolf cub woke up and looked at Rick with the same eye colour as Rick's emerald green. The wolf cub's spoiled gaze made Rick couldn't help himself and picked up the wolf cub and started kissing it.

Rick heard a voice calling him, "Rick, wake up. It's late, why are you still sleeping? Let's have lunch first".

Rick was still in his dream when he heard a voice that came from nowhere. Rick put the cub back in its place and turned to leave which made the cub groan. Rick turned his head but the voice was getting clearer, Rick knew that it was Haven's voice so he wanted to immediately chase after the voice. Rick walked away from the wolf cub and after some distance, Rick faintly heard the sound of a child crying and calling him, "Mama~~mama~~".

When Rick turned his head towards the wolf cup, it's had disappeared and Rick woke up with Haven beside him playing on his tablet.

Haven felt the movement of the person sleeping next to him and turned his head, "You're awake? You must be so tired that you slept for so long".

Rick remained silent as if he had not yet fully awakened from his long dream. Rick coughed and only then did he really wake up. Haven fetched a drink from the nightstand and gave it to Rick who was already sitting on the headboard hugging the pillow. Rick accepted it and drank the water quickly. Haven saw it and said, "Slow down the drink, you hungry? Want to eat now?".

"Hm", Rick looked still dazed and just said yes.

Haven took the hotel phone and called room service to deliver the food. After that, Haven approached Rick and checked Rick's temperature, "You don't have a fever but you look like you are sick, do you feel dizzy?".

Rick shook his head and hugged Haven instead which surprised Haven because this was the first time Rick had taken the initiative to touch him first. Haven smiled a little and hugged Rick back and even pulled Rick into his arms until Rick's body rested on Haven. Haven said softly, "Did you have a bad dream?".

Rick shook his head again and buried his head in Haven's neck even more. Haven was clearly happy to accept it, accepting Rick behaving spoiled him. Haven even thought that he would be very happy if Rick could spoil him so much to the point where Rick couldn't do anything without Haven.

After a few months Rick and Haven's relationship changed, Haven is now more often in the main house and Rick who should have served as a bodyguard is now often kidnapped by Haven to accompany him. Rick is obviously very happy because now his meeting with Haven is not just about having s*x as before but Haven now often takes him out to just accompany him shopping or eating at a restaurant. Haven also once asked Rick to go hunting together, then Haven would also take Rick if Rick needed and spend time together when they were both off. Rick notices the change in Haven's attitude towards him but Rick still can't believe that Haven really likes him and Rick still believes that Haven did it all because he feels lonely after Princess Nora's departure. But Rick had to get to the facts that made him inevitably have to think about his relationship with Haven even more seriously.

Rick feels that his body feels different and he also doesn't experience the heat that usually comes every month, now his heat hasn't come yet. Although it's actually very natural that the heat doesn't come every month if an omega regularly has s*x, especially s*x with alpha. Rick remembers when he was in heat 2 months ago, at that time Haven didn't use a condom and after that Rick only took the morning after pill, even though the risk of pregnancy during the heat was very high. And sure enough, when Rick accompanied Arzoo and Raven to check up on Arzoo's womb, Rick secretly went to the obstetrician after making an appointment. Rick is confused about what to do, whether he should tell Haven or not but he himself is still not sure about Haven but if he decides to tell Haven it is certain that Haven will be responsible. But what if Haven was only with him because he felt he had to be responsible and because Rick was pregnant with his child.

"Why didn't you from three days ago come to my room? I also didn't see you around Arzoo? You also didn't reply to my messages or pick up my calls", said Haven who sounded sulky with his hands playing with Rick's shirt.

Rick, who was forced to take Haven to his room and then forced to sit on Haven's lap, just kept quiet and let Haven do what he wanted. Haven, who usually would get a response from Rick, felt like Rick was like when the two of them started this relationship, shut up and let Haven do whatever he wanted which made Haven unable to read Rick's mind.

Haven kissed the nape of Rick's neck and used his husky voice and whispered, "You're tired of playing with me? Are you going to throw me out?".

Haven's breath hit the sensitive part of the nape of Rick's neck and made Rick feel goosebumps and shivers, Rick wanted to run from Haven but even Rick had trouble moving because his body was locked. Haven put his hand in Rick's shirt and groped and caressed Rick's n*****s with his fingers and kept playing with them until Rick felt hot and shaking.

Rick grabbed Haven's hand and released it from his n****e but Haven was so strong that he pinched his n*****s until Rick let out a sigh, "Aghh hah".

"Young master... Let go, I'm not in the mood to do it", Rick tried to escape from Haven.

Rick, who was afraid that having s*x with Haven would hurt the fetus, became even more panicked when Haven suddenly bit his shoulder and said in an annoyed tone, "Why? You're really tired of me already?".

Rick is confused because every time he interacts with Haven it feels as if all his energy is drained plus the size of Haven who is not kidding, an alpha dominant who makes him very afraid if Haven injures the fetus and ends in miscarriage. Plus, after Rick realized she was pregnant he became increasingly uncomfortable, Rick felt nauseous and vomited and then his body ached and ached. Rick really wasn't in the mood to do anything other than sleep and eat that's why he asked Raven to leave for a few days but when he returned to the main house and was about to pick up some things, Haven had already caught him and taken him to his room.

While Rick was still struggling to break free and was also at a loss to explain, a voice from outside sounded a little noisy. Raven's voice rang out and made Haven finally let Rick go.

Raven panicked because Arzoo looked like she was about to give birth to confusion and Haven immediately calmed her down. Arzoo was taken to the hospital by Raven and Rick also went to escort them because that day Luke was also off. Arriving at the hospital, Rick just waited in the parking lot and sat quietly in the car.

Rick looked at the ultrasound taken a few days ago and imagined Haven acting like Raven earlier when he saw him about to give birth. But Rick still has doubts and feels that all Haven wants is someone to sleep with him and not a real lover or partner. Rick sighed and said to himself, "I'll raise you myself, it's no problem. Haven doesn't need to know about this, it would be a shame for an alpha dominant from the Harold family to have a relationship with me who is just a bodyguard".

Rick decides to choose to raise his own son without Haven and won't tell Haven. Seeing the busy atmosphere, Rick was also still taking time off, so Rick chose to return to the main house and packed his things and left the main house. Rick had already asked Raven and Arzoo to take leave for a week so he wouldn't be needed during his time off. But now that he had decided to hide his pregnancy, he would resign and return to his parent's house in Colville Lake.
