Haven's Omega

Chapter 3

Raven lay on Haven's bed and said "No, it's just that I got a message from Princess Nora. Princess Nora wants you to stop sending her letter via the kingdom and it's better for you to send her message by her cell number instead".

Haven turned his head slightly surprised and asked, "Can I send a message to Princess Nora's number? Do you have her number?".

Raven nodded and said, "I'll send it later to your phone number".

Raven stood up and turned to leave "I'm going down first, hurry up and take a shower".

Haven glanced at his cellphone which was on the table but his hands were still moving quickly typing his work on the laptop. Haven is still waiting for a message from Princess Nora. After almost an hour, a message came in and it turned out that Princess Nora had replied to the message. Haven smiled and replied to the message from Princess Nora, they exchanged messages for a while.

Since that day, Haven and Princess Nora sent messages to each other and finally, the day of Haven's parents' wedding anniversary arrived. Haven will finally meet Princess Nora in person.

The party is not so lively and only invites family and closest people. The beautiful garden has been decorated and neatly arranged for the party. Haven stood near the entrance and greeted the arriving guests. Several bodyguards also stood guard at the door and also on the sides of the garden, watching the party progress.

Haven who was standing near the entrance didn't want to be the one to receive guests but he was waiting for Princess Nora's arrival and wanted to greet her directly. Raven also stood with him to greet guests so that when Princess Nora came, Haven could immediately leave Raven alone to greet guests.

On the other side outside the entrance, a bodyguard was standing looking at the guests present. Another bodyguard said, "Hey, this is the first time I've seen you on guard during an event like this?".

Rick replied, "Hm, yes. The bodyguards from young master Raven weren't that many and there were a few who were on leave so I replaced them".

Rick felt uncomfortable being among the alphas but what made him the most uncomfortable was the faint smell of an alpha's pheromone. This pheromone makes it seem as if he wants to release his pheromone. Rick looked around but couldn't find the person who had released the pheromone. It's hard to find it because of the large number of alphas that makes the pheromone faint and mixed with other pheromones.

Rick asked the head guard for permission to go to the bathroom for a bit. Just as Rick was leaving, Haven came out and seemed to be looking for someone. Not only was Rick the one who felt the pheromone that attracted him, but Haven also smelled the pheromone scent which was similar to the perfume at that time. Haven wanted to see who it was that gave off a pheromone scent like that or maybe all he smelled was perfume. Haven doesn't find the figure that has the smell he's looking for and after that, Princess Nora arrives which makes Haven forget about the smell of the pheromone.

During the party, Haven had plenty of time to talk to Princess Nora. Haven is increasingly convinced that Princess Nora is someone who has the qualifications to be his partner even though Haven does not feel the feeling called love but Haven believes that such feelings can come naturally if the two continue to be together and the most important thing for him is that the two have compatibility and goals that go hand in hand.

Haven got out of his car, a big company had greeted him. Haven has been transferred to the main company and is working as a director. Haven had not expected that he would move forward so quickly. When he publicly exposed his relationship with Princess Nora, executives and shareholders immediately saw his potential and quickly helped him get transferred to the main corporate office. Uncle Tor as CEO of the company also had the convenience of helping Haven's dream to replace Uncle Tor's position as CEO and not only moving Haven to the main company office but also increasing his position from manager to director. Although Haven realized that all of this was not only the result of his hard work, Haven promised Uncle Tor to really work seriously and would increase the company's credibility.

As usual, Haven would go to work and continue with going to college in the evening. But on certain days, Haven will meet Princess Nora and go somewhere together.

Haven drives his own car to pick up Princess Nora. Haven got out of the car and opened the car door for Princess Nora. Princess Nora was seen smiling and the two of them looked like a loving couple but when the car door was closed and the car was driving, the two of them no longer showed their loving face but only looked like friends.

"Haven, have you bought a beer?", asked Princess Nora in a slightly different tone than usual and sounded more casual and relaxed.

Haven replied curtly, "It's in the back".

Princess Nora turned to the back seat and took a can of beer then immediately opened it and drank it, "Hah, what a relief".

Haven glanced at Princess Nora who was drinking beer, "What's wrong?".

"Hm, Noah messed up again and I'm the one who has to fix it, Dad always does that. I have no problem helping to clean up Noah's mess but maintaining Noah's image is very difficult, I can't keep lying like this," said Princess Nora, leaning her head against the car's chair backrest.

"What did he do this time?" Asked Haven while driving.

"He went to a bar and accidentally slept with an alpha werewolf unprotected which ended up in Noah being pregnant but instead of telling dad about that, Noah went along with the person he slept with to have an abortion. Now that person is threatening to spread evidence that Noah is an omega werewolf and was pregnant," said Princess Nora who looked very tired.

"Do you need my help?" asked Eden, looking in the rearview mirror.

"For now there is no need. I have silenced the clinic that helped Noah have an abortion and only need to see that person," said Princess Nora who also looked in the rearview mirror.

"You saw it? Looks like the reporters are following us again", said Haven who glanced at Princess Nora.

"They really can't let people rest for a day," said a sighing Princess Nora.

"Heh, we have to go to a different place today. Do you want to have dinner at the Sky Hotel instead?", asked Haven who directed his car to another road.

"Hm, okay. We can just go there," said Princess Nora who was forced to give up her desire to relax on the beach.

"If you want, this weekend I can clear my schedule and we can go to the beach which is a bit far from here," said Haven offering to change for the day.

Princess Nora turned to Haven and said, "I think I haven't told you that this weekend I have an event at the orphanage and I want you to come with me".

Haven nodded, "Okay, should I pick you up or not?".

"Yes, please pick me up. But we need guards because this is a semi-formal event," said Princess Nora, playing with her finished beer can.

"Okay", replied Haven who returned to focus on driving.

Haven and Princess Nora are busy with events at the orphanage, Haven is actually not comfortable being in a crowd and being the centre of attention like that but this is part of his role.

After leaving the orphanage, Haven and Princess Nora went to a fancy Japanese restaurant. Haven wanted to ask for a private room but because they didn't make a reservation in advance the private room was full. Actually, Haven and Princess Nora can ask the restaurant to open a private room, but because they wanted to maintain their image and didn't want any disturbance, they decided to eat at a regular table.

Haven sat in front of Princess Nora, several people who saw the arrival of Princess Nora and Haven glanced several times and turned to Princess Nora and Haven. Haven held Princess Nora's hand and said softly, "I'm sorry, you wanted to eat here but I forgot to make a reservation so you have to eat at this regular table here".

Princess Nora smiled very kindly and said, "It's okay, I prefer it like this. Eating like this is one of my wishes, I'm happy to have time to live a normal life".

Haven smiled and said, "Shall we go on a date next week? We can go for a walk to the amusement park or somewhere like an ordinary couple".

Princess Nora smiled and said, "Wow, I'll be waiting for it since I've never been to an amusement park".

Haven said, "Then we'll go to the amusement park then, I'll plan it well".

Unbeknownst to Haven and Princess Nora, there was someone watching them with an angry and jealous face. Catherine who was eating with a man at the Japanese restaurant accidentally saw the arrival of Haven and Princess Nora. Catherine, who had actually finished eating, finally ordered some more food and looked at Haven who looked affectionate with Princess Nora.

It had been several months since Haven had sent a farewell gift and asked Catherine to forget everything that had happened and not to contact Haven again except for work. After Catherine received the gift, Catherine felt that as long as Haven didn't tell her directly and Haven was still around, Catherine felt that there was still a chance to be close to Haven again. But soon, Haven and Princess Nora's relationship became hot news in various places which were finally heard by Catherine. At that time, Catherine was very angry and kept looking for ways to get closer to Haven and repair their relationship again but before she managed to do so, Haven was transferred to the main company office. For Catherine what annoyed her, even more, was that when Haven was transferred, Haven was also promoted to director. Catherine became very upset because of her failure.

Seeing Haven and Princess Nora looking very happy, Catherine was getting angrier and an idea popped into her head. Catherine took out her cell phone and texted Haven. Haven who was eating, take a glance at his cell phone which kept ringing. Seeing that the sender of the message was Catherine, Haven just glanced at it and ignored it. But Catherine didn't give up and kept texting until she called him which made Princess Nora glance at Haven and said, "Who?".

Haven sighed and said quietly, "Sorry, I'll answer the message first".

Princess Nora nodded and continued eating. Haven looked at the contents of the message from Catherine and his face was slightly shocked. Haven glanced around and finally saw Catherine smiling at him. Haven just sighed and handed the phone to Princess Nora, "Here, have a look".

Princess Nora put down her chopsticks and took Haven's cell phone and read the contents of the chain message from Catherine. Princess Nora smiled a little and said to Haven in a low voice, "You ever played with this kind of woman?".

Haven smiled and replied quietly, "Because at first, she didn't look like this kind of person".

Princess Nora smiled and whispered, "Is she good at bed?".

"I don't know," said Haven lazily.

Princess Nora asked, "Do you want me to end this or do you want to do it yourself?".

"I'll sort it out myself, after all, she's quite talented and influential in increasing the revenue at the branch office", said Haven picking up his chopsticks again.

"Okay then, but you have to end it quickly", said Princess Nora who put down Haven's phone after texting Catherine and then continued eating.

Catherine who received the contents of the message from Haven and knew that the one who replied to the message was Princess Nora became shocked and finally decided to leave the restaurant.

It was as Haven expected that Catherine had come to the main company office. Haven smiled like his usual friendly smile and motioned for Catherine to sit down. Catherine sat on the sofa then threw a tape on the table, "That's the record, I only have one file".

Haven took the tape and immediately crushed it with his bare hands and threw it in the trash. Haven handed over a document containing a letter of agreement that Catherine needed to sign.

"As you wish, you will be promoted from team manager to head manager, but you will be transferred to another branch office outside Canada. And you are also not allowed to bring up our past relationship to anyone and if you violate what is written in the letter of agreement, then you have to bear it through legal means as stated in the agreement letter," Haven said with a face that still looked friendly but his voice sounded very cold.

Catherine reads the agreement and feels that she has suffered a lot but Catherine knows that Haven has a lot of evidence about Catherine sleeping with her seniors and superiors to get promotions and even using company facilities for personal use which can be considered as corruption. Not to mention that many seniors and superiors who have been in contact with her have been fired and imprisoned for cases of money laundering, corruption, abuse of power and others so that by signing this agreement she will be protected by Haven and can have a new life in this higher position.

Catherine signs the agreement and hands it over to Haven. Haven looked at it one more time before stuffing it into the bag. Haven smiled at Catherine and said, "Goodbye, take good care of yourself and don't do the same things you did while you were here in the new office".
